I wish I could give a zero star review. We never received our food and they only refunded 50% of our money back. Deleting app today and will never use it again.

Scam - Won't honour their own coupons. I have been using Skip since they first came to my city. I've had a few problems in the past, but this recent one has convinced me to delete my account. I hadn't ordered anything in the past few months so they sent me a $15 coupon to entice me. I took the bait and put in a $65 order not included tax or delivery. The app failed when I submitted the order so I tried again, but the coupon had disappeared. I contacted support via chat and after 40 minutes of messing around they said enter the order through the browser without the coupon and they would put a credit on my account. I put the order in at full price and went back to the chat, but the rep had ended it. I started a new chat and asked for the credit and they refused and ended the chat. I tried once more and they said all they could do is put back the original coupon which had a 5 day expiry. As I said, the whole point of this coupon was to get me to order because I don't order very often so screwing me out of the coupon then trying to get me to order again is a complete scam. The third rep also ended the chat prematurely. This is the worst service I've had from any business. It took a long time for the rep to join the chat, there were crazy long delays between messages and three reps terminated the sessions without fixing the problem. I have to say that I was not surprised to see a 1.1 star rating on this site. Skip the Dishes is a SCAM!!! Date of experience: May 29, 2024

So after years of using skip and the thousands and thousands of dollars ive spent, they told me that they won't refund any items anymore ever again because when the restaurant makes a mistake I let them know. And normally they would make it right but today they told me since ive made a bunch of complaints over the years that they will never again help me when a mistake is made. All this over a breakfast sandwich btw lol and the lady monika was SO rude she cut me off and told me its to bad and ended the chat before I could even answer. I have screen shots of everything and ive only complained when mistakes were made. They don't care how much money you spend over the years, eventually if they make mistakes outta every 5 orders you place, they will eventually cut you off and are beyond rude about it. They say they care and there so sorry this happened but that's all BS they don't care about your or how much you spend. Be prepared to have terrible service and to be told your the problem when they make mistakes . I would give 0 stars but I can only give one. Very disappointed in this company but I have no problem going threw uber eats or whatever else they have out there. You guys lost a loyal customer.

Very poor customer service department. They don't train the drivers/ delivery people properly. The restaurants do not follow instructions and because i have complained to much (in their opinion) they will no longer help me!!! Bye bye!!

They don't care.. about anything other than getting their money. Once they've done that, they're on to the next person. I ordered from Canadian brewhouse, through Skip the Dishes, and got the beef dip, fries and gravy. And the free item was fried pickles. When I got it and opened it up, it was all cold. All of it. I was hungry and it was late at night so I microwaved it and ate it. Right after that I just went through the app to let them know. Nobody was available to speak with so the automatic bot gave me the option to leave a message and someone would respond. Well nobody did for 2 days. So i emailed this time and told them everything. They responded with a condescending, "we feel terrible but since it was delivered on time, we're not able to refund you at this time. I actually didn't ask for a refund but a small credit or something would have been appreciated. Thinking back on it, the driver showed up with a ratty looking bag, not zipped up and that's why it was cold I'm guessing. They often do that. None of the drivers seem to care about what they're doing. And I tipped him without knowing all my food was cold. So i paid almost $40 total, for cold food we had to microwave. Imagine how that tasted being microwaved. I also wrote a second email explaining that it was most likely the bag and zero response. It's been a week and nothing. So we're deleting the app and never ordering through them again. Way too many mistakes and nobody cares to help. Horrible company and I hope people stop paying them for the the equally horrible service. At least keep your tips for the door in case they suck. Because you won't get it back even if you ask. I've seen drivers park literally in the middle of the road "because they couldn't see the sidewalk" they said. They've left food at my door without knocking, texting, calling..nothing.. and I sat there wondering where my food was,while it sat outside getting cold. I've had them buzz up and literally say to me," give me your number" buzz me up, man" (I'm female and sound female). They hire anyone and everyone who can speak a little English and has a car. They're taught NOTHING about customer service and have no idea how to treat people. And if you complain more than 3 times they flag you as someone who complains too much and they cut you off and wont refund you anymore even though it's THEIR mistakes I'm complaining about. What a gross company. Never again! They're thieves and get away with it constantly.

While the food itself might be good from the restaurants, the delivery conditions are concerning and unacceptable. On multiple occasions, my food has arrived looking **disgusting**. Here's why: * **Food Left on the Floor:** Delivery drivers have a habit of leaving my food on the ground, often right by the door. This is a breeding ground for bacteria and completely unsanitary! SkipTheDishes should instruct drivers to leave it on a table, counter, or designated delivery spot if available. * **No Thermal Bags:** It seems some drivers don't use insulated bags to keep food hot or cold. This is crucial to ensure food safety, especially during hot or cold weather. * **Unsanitary Car Interiors:** I once witnessed a delivery driver taking a picture of my food inside their car. The car was littered with garbage! This is horrifying to imagine, considering that's the environment my food might be exposed to during transport. SkipTheDishes needs to prioritize proper food handling and hygiene during deliveries. These practices are not only inconsiderate but pose a serious health risk. Until SkipTheDishes implements stricter guidelines and enforces proper food handling procedures, I will be hesitant to use their service again.

It is my third time I order and never get my order. I only receive confirmation that order is delivered, no picture nothing at my door I check both entrances of my building. I am really fed up of this poor service.

never had a problem with skip at first until the orders keep getting messed up and i understand that it’s the restaurants fault but they keep denying my money back i even sent pictures for proof that they give me the wrong items and still no refund back and apparently i was making “too many complaints” when i hadn’t done any i don’t recommend using this app they probably will deny your refund a bunch of scammers

Their app does not record street number and apartment numbers. When you order your expected to know this. The driver looks at special instructions I gave the security code to get in the building. It rings my phone. All I hear is Skip with delivery. I respond I'll buzz you in. Does not ask for apartment number and does not leave order. I paid thirty nine dollars and did not receive. That includes a delivery fee and tip. I complain and am told fifty percent refund as address was incomplete. I am penalized twenty dollars for their failed app and told I could have put apt. Number in special instructions. Even though I assumed they had my full address. I'm supposed to know this. They are rip off artists.

Skip took an hour to assign a driver to my order and then when i complained they asked if i wanted to cancel I said no I’ll wait and then 2 minutes later i look and they cancelled it. Nothing was open by this time and the best they could do was give me some skip credits…. The absolute worst food delivery service available. Door dash blows skip away. Like skip needs to step it up or step out.

My family and I use skip the dishes frequently, but on an ongoing bases we have items that are missing, incorrectly made, and sometimes very long delays. Most recently, my order was missing a cappuccino and expresso. When contacting the support team, I was advised that my “it appears we’ve been unable to meet your expectations do to a high number of refund requests I’m unable to offer reimbursements going forward” and continued to say the decision was final. Not only was the service I paid for not fulfilled, I was essentially being put at fault because of the poor service that SkipTheDishes was providing. I reached out multiple times, and was refused to speak to a manager and having the chat abruptly ended with the same canned statement. My family, and business will no longer be using this service, logging a report with the competition bureau and BBB, and possibly other agencies were needed.

On skip the dishes online order there is a history were you can re-order your past order I hit re-order as I have the past three orders two in March and one last week all three orders came the correct address (great) but this time I hit re-order and they delivered to another address When I explained and tried to get services I was told they were dropping the food at the address they went to and not redirecting the food There customer service online basically said to bad and I need to check the delivery address which I was not done on the 3 past orders which arrived correctly so why would I double check They were not helpful & basically cut me off When I spoke with the restaurant they also agreed that Skip the dishes has terrible customer service I myself is a small business owner & I would never treat my customers in this manner I have now put a dispute in with my credit card hopefully I will get some resolve

I just ordered from skip the dishes and my order was completely wrong. They told me I could never be refunded for an order again given I had too many refund requests in the past. I was unable to find any refund requests in my history and when asked if they could provide me with that information they said that the decision was final and left the chat. I logged back on to see if there was an error and the next person wrote the exact same thing and just left the conversation. I will obviously be deleting the app. Uber eats have way better customer service

if i could give zero stars i would... don't even try to get a refund when you have missing items. there is no one to hold accountable and this is something that needs to change.

Wanted to relax and watch hockey game like most do - so ordered food and specific delivery instructions to bring to apartment- get a text saying was delivered - no buzzer nothing outside my apt door. Reviewed order picture shows was left outside my building in an area heavy in homeless and addict traffic so went to see if there found nothing, tried dealing with Skip chat and get disconnected several times - no customer service !!

Terrible service. The company fails to see that their delivery service is terrible! They fail to hire locals and this is the main cause of slow and inaccurate delivery service. I would not recommend using this company at all!

So Discovered that they changed the rules with Rewards. Now you have to complete Challenges to start getting them. The Challenges are Use Skip Express. Basically that means ordering groceries, which as a perfectly fit Human being is ludicrous and just makes Food expensive (as if its not overpriced anyway) and 2nd is to order from Starbucks, which is never ever going to happen, Overprice and there company ethics just suck so No rewards for me, which as a regular customer is just crazy. The rules are made to just deny us any rewards. The competition is just as bad so not sure what I will do now

WHEN MY ORDER GOT HERE I CHECKED IT AND IT HAD EGG IN IT, I KNOW IT IS NOT SKIP'S FAULT BUT WHEN I CALLED THE RESTAURANT THEY SAID I HAVE TO CONTACT SKIP TO GET A CREDIT AND THEY SAID NO... NEVER AGAIN...
