Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Ordered food and waited more than double the time just to get my order cancelled. Food NEVER arrives on time and 0 customer service.

Never again!! Rip off. Missing food . Would not give money back! Probably a driver ate the friggin food! They are friggin done. No more from them!. Poor service!

Terrible company! We ordered food through their app and they sent the order to a really remote location of the restaurant we wanted rather than the one by our house. We cancelled the order right away and the restaurant was completely cool about the mistake. Skip however, refused to refund us the money. The restaurant even reached out to them to assure them that they hadn’t made the order and they had suffered no damages. Skip still refused to refund us and after a back and forth online with one of their reps we were hung up on. So in short, they really did steal our money. Never use this awful company.

I ordered Mary Brown's chicken using Skipthedishes app last night. I followed the driver's map which said he was 2 minutes away so went to the door no one showed up. Then 2 minutes later they wanted me to rate the deliver that I never received. So I called the restaurant who informed they said there was nothing they can do that I had to call Skipthedishes to complain. I tried calling them to no avail you can not speak directly to this company. After leaving a written complaint I was informed this morning that they are responsible for their employees so I am out $70. Please use caution when considering this service there are many other similar services out there that you can use. It us pretty sad that a company can operate with no responsibility to the customer or their employees. I don't think this company is run by a Canadian because we as Canadian would not be so bold to take people to the cleaners.

Never ever use this service! We have ordered food twice now and it never got delivered. They ask us to rate them after they delivered our food we looked outside and nothing was there again this is the second time this has happened. I was told leave no tip on the order and say "tip at the door" you will get your order. Sad that people can't be honest but I guess they are not Canadians as Canadians are honest and polite individuals. I will never use this service again. I wish I could rate Skipthedishes a zero. PS. Skipthedishes you need to add "was your item delivered" on your questionnaire as that is not an option and that is what I experienced. I paid for food left a tip for the skipthedishes driver who is Dinesh Driver #1545 did not deliver our order.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I ordered gravol and gingerale (which was $31.00) for my son who was sick and when the driver came I opened the bag and said immediately “I’m missing the gravol!!!” She said “I can’t do anything about it, you need to contact skip”. Within 5 minutes of this happening I immediately contacted skip and selected missing items in which I wrote a detailed message of what was missing!!! I kept going back on the app to select that I still haven’t heard anything back on this order but it wasn’t there to select. So after spending 45 mins trying to find someone to talk to as I’d like to know where my refund is of $20.00 and she said you have to contact us within 48 hours, I said I contacted you IMMEDIATELY!!!!! She said oh sorry you didn’t select chat I can’t help you! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!? I reached out IMMEDIATELY!! Worst company ever! This is actually the second time this has happened and I’m now in the hole $40.00. Absolutely AWFUL. I asked how I could escalate this further and she said no bye!! APPALLING!!!

My food was delivered to someone else sure hope they’re enjoying it. 2 other times I had trouble getting my order. These drivers need to learn directions.

Unsanitary delivery of food. The provided red bags are not clean, too many times i have seen the delivery person arrive at the restaurant with filthy dirty bags, the food is put into the bag he/she does not close the bag properly and off they go the worst I just heard about was the person putting the unsecured bag in the back seat of his car where his 2 large dogs were, disgusting to say the least and will never use this service and you can bet this will be shared with other customers!!!! Not sure how this is monitored but i will be contacting health officials.

I wish i could give 0 for this review. How difficult can it be to deliver a food? The driver who delivered my food left my order at the floor of the lobby beside the garbage bin. How unsanitary is that? I contacted the skip and asked for a refund back to my card and instead they placed it as a credit which I do not want. They want me to use them again for the credit? That is the game they play. This is not the first time they did a bad delivery. They were also used by Walmart and the driver do not want to deliver my order right to my door. What is the point of paying delivery fees if it is not delivered to your door? Skip the Dishes has very unprofessional and untrained drivers.

Bad management in hiring. I feel like they have something against hiring people without racialy profiling them first. I have friends that are white with perfect driving records for 25 yrs that would be great drivers , who have been waiting for over a year to get them to call them back for a job. they hire non reliable people and we're seeing new drivers all the time that are so bad..

Could not load $100 gift card. Was told by an employee it would take 24 hours. 2 days later some Anchal advised that the card needed to be returned to where it was purchased. I did not receive any communications from them to advise of this. If I wouldn’t have noticed, that would have been $100 down the drain. Anchal then decided it was a good idea to disconnect the call after asking to speak to a manager. I went back onto chat and Vinus decided he too would disconnect the chat after demanding to speak to a manager. I order through skip probably 5-6 times per week. Clearly these customer service reps don’t care, they receive their wages no matter what. These 2 were so rude and customer service relation skills are abysmal. They don’t even have a contact number, I’m sure as too many complaints. I sent an email to the company for follow up. If I could give them a zero out of 5, I totally would.

I ordered from skip the dishes. After 30 minutes my order was marked as "completed" and didn't receive it. So I contacted the support and they told me to wait for another 15-20 minutes. I waited... then contacted the support again because I still didn't receive my order. They told me to wait another 15-20 minutes. I waited... but after 3 hours of waiting "another 15 minutes", it was clear that my order would never arrive but they asked me to wait for another 15 minutes. I asked for a refund and they ended up flushing me from the chat and banning me instead. Great. I contacted the restaurant directly and they told me they never received my address from the skip system. I wonder if 48 hours after they would still ask me to wait another 15 minutes? This is the worst customer support I've ever had to deal with and I'm being polite.

On June 8th I placed an order with skip. I ordered 3 dinners. And only received 2. I took a picture of the unopened package and the receipt. I even called the restaurant and they acknowledged the short ship and told me to contact skip for a refund and reorder the dinner. I did just that. The rude customer service person Manjot G told me they can't do that i asked to speak to the manager and he told me the outcome would be the same and closed the chat. Very dismissive and unprofessional. I want my refund for the 1 dinner and train or fire these incompetent workers. I was told I filed too many claims. If I have the proof then what's the issue? Plus I haven't, skip cancel my orders due to lack of food or issue with my choices.The restaurant messes up an order and they blame the customer for filing a complaint. Does that make sense to anyone? I am paying my hard earned money for what I want NOT what the restaurant decides to give me!

I ordered Papa Johns pizza on Princess St in Kingston on app. The pizza was wrong, and you CANNOT reach anyone at skip to have things corrected. I paid for delivery, tip to have the wrong pizza show up. I ended up having to take a bus to tge pizza place to get my correct order. NEVER TRUST SKIP THE DISHES! CROOKS.

Scam - Won't honour their own coupons. I have been using Skip since they first came to my city. I've had a few problems in the past, but this recent one has convinced me to delete my account. I hadn't ordered anything in the past few months so they sent me a $15 coupon to entice me. I took the bait and put in a $65 order not included tax or delivery. The app failed when I submitted the order so I tried again, but the coupon had disappeared. I contacted support via chat and after 40 minutes of messing around they said enter the order through the browser without the coupon and they would put a credit on my account. I put the order in at full price and went back to the chat, but the rep had ended it. I started a new chat and asked for the credit and they refused and ended the chat. I tried once more and they said all they could do is put back the original coupon which had a 5 day expiry. As I said, the whole point of this coupon was to get me to order because I don't order very often so screwing me out of the coupon then trying to get me to order again is a complete scam. The third rep also ended the chat prematurely. This is the worst service I've had from any business. It took a long time for the rep to join the chat, there were crazy long delays between messages and three reps terminated the sessions without fixing the problem. I have to say that I was not surprised to see a 1.1 star rating on this site. Skip the Dishes is a SCAM!!! Date of experience: May 29, 2024

So after years of using skip and the thousands and thousands of dollars ive spent, they told me that they won't refund any items anymore ever again because when the restaurant makes a mistake I let them know. And normally they would make it right but today they told me since ive made a bunch of complaints over the years that they will never again help me when a mistake is made. All this over a breakfast sandwich btw lol and the lady monika was SO rude she cut me off and told me its to bad and ended the chat before I could even answer. I have screen shots of everything and ive only complained when mistakes were made. They don't care how much money you spend over the years, eventually if they make mistakes outta every 5 orders you place, they will eventually cut you off and are beyond rude about it. They say they care and there so sorry this happened but that's all BS they don't care about your or how much you spend. Be prepared to have terrible service and to be told your the problem when they make mistakes . I would give 0 stars but I can only give one. Very disappointed in this company but I have no problem going threw uber eats or whatever else they have out there. You guys lost a loyal customer.

Very poor customer service department. They don't train the drivers/ delivery people properly. The restaurants do not follow instructions and because i have complained to much (in their opinion) they will no longer help me!!! Bye bye!!
