I recently drove halfway across Canada... and back. Total of 8,000 km. In order to minimize risks in this day of COVID19, we ordered food in to the hotel every night rather than eat in a resto. We used Skip the Dishes in Winnipeg twice, Regina, Saskatoon, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie. Then again a few times when we got home to Ottawa. Excellent APP. Easy to download, install and use within minutes. 100% accuracy of order. Great GPS tracing of where the driver is. Food was delivered on time, or early, every single time. The user interface presents all the resto menus in the same format so it is easy to read, understand, select, and order. I just tried using DOOR DASH and had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with it... so bad that I just gave up on ordering and I am about to delete it from my phone.

Tried to order yesterday but kept saying check your info as not able to process payment. So I checked our info everything was ok. Then I went to chat with someone to see if maybe skip was having some issues, she was helpful and said try again in 15 mins and it should work. Well I did and still didn't work. So was not ordering after all that. Then thought would try again the next day. Got my order all ready and got to payment then was told the restaurant was closed. They need to fix the bugs they are having. I know that they are probable really busy since covid but then they should update there list of restaurants if the restaurant isn't taking orders cause the restaurant was open. Im leaning away from skip now.

Honestly the worst service ever for food delivery. Happened twice delivery driver didn't deliver the foods but it was showing delivered on the Skip App. I have a Ring doorbell that records if there is anyone on the property no driver actually came. Skip customer service barely gives you the refund nobody cares about the time you waited for the order and it takes too much time to chat with Skip Agent. They don't even have phone number to talk to live agent, chat support team didn't give any number to call.

ordered breakfast before work at 7:51am and its not 9:40am ive been on the phone with skip on hold for 30 min so far and their chat blows a FAT dick just lie their company its a matter of time before these peeps go bankrupt due to customer service.. doordash is on par!

The worst experience ever, they waste your time .no orders waste of time ,gas and energy. At made 6 dollars in 4 hours . Remember this before join it.

COMPANY CHEATS FRONTLINE HEALTHCARE WORKERS! Received a $25 gift card as a “Thank You” to frontline healthcare workers from SkipTheDishes at my hospital today. This was my first time using the service and had to create an account. Once created, I uploaded the gift card successfully and tried to use it. I could not use it after several attempts. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed my account is locked due to fraud. I explained the account was literally created an hour ago. The agent -Mandy at the Winnipeg office- said she could not discuss the matter any further and my $25 gift card was forfeited. She hung up mid sentence as I was trying for further clarification! Customer service - nonexistent! The gift card is specifically for frontline healthcare workers and even has an image of doctors and nurses with a big “Thank You” on it from SkipTheDishes! Maybe it was suppose to read “No Thank You” to the frontline healthcare workers! LOL!

I've ordered from them many times in the past and they were always quick to respond to issues and give me credits in situations where something wasn't right. However, twice now I've had a terrible driver who picked up my food and drove the opposite direction, doubling the time for delivery and ensuring the food was cold by the time it arrived. Skip gives the same canned BS responses and then IF YOU'RE LUCKY gives a $5 credit. Today was the last straw. Should have taken 20-25 min to get my food and instead it took an hour and 15 minutes. I'll never use them again. They don't seem to care if you have negative feedback - they just give you a $5 credit so you'll use them again. After today, I'm done. I understand the occasional mess-up, but this company has gone downhill and I won't give them my money ever again. They can keep their piddly $5 credit.

Ordered $70 worth of food for my family for dinner yesterday at 5:45PM. At 6:30, I got a notification that the food was delivered. I didn't hear any doorbell but checked anyway, and of course, there was no food there. I checked my neighbours' porches and my security feed (which starts recording on motion), and nothing. Hopped onto their support app, and in 25 minutes, all I got from the representative was the same question twice, after I provided the information the first time. I pressed for an update, and was disconnected/blocked. My WiFi and data were working fine, and it's now 12 hours later and I still can't get on, so I can only conclude that STD will simply block customers bringing difficult requests to their attention. Their joke of a chat service is attached with my review for all to peruse. I'm sure you're all dying to know how it ended, and I'm sorry to say, what you see is what you get. I was locked out after this exact sequence of dialogue. I tried by phone and finally got a hold of a representative. After a few minutes of back and forth, she finally said she'd process a refund, but would have to call back later to confirm. When pressed for when, she said "today". It's now 12 hours later into the next day, and nothing. So it would once again appear that STD jumps ship at the first sign of a difficult request. So they've taken $70 from me, and all I have to show for it is an evening of frustration, hunger, and a strong desire to move to UberEats for good and never give business to this sham of a company ever again. Avoid at all costs - tell your friends, tell your families, tell your coworkers, tell the owners and managers of your favourite restaurants. This company is not to be trusted. Restaurants working with them will inevitably face negative customer feedback as direct result of STD's incompetence and inaction - hungry, angry customers are quick to blame whoever they can. If you want to save your restaurant's image, don't work with STD. Go with UberEats instead - the few times they've mishandled my order, they were quick to rectify the issue.

Worst customer service ever!!!! Not only did they get my order wrong - but the driver couldn’t find my house (very easy to find) and when he called me and I directed him he hung up on me!! When I chatted with support to let them know my order was wrong in multiple ways they refused to refund the delivery and only the additional items that were missing - not the main items - when I tried to explain more they ended the chat and that was that - no more contact. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - will NEVER order from them again!!!! Don’t waste your money - find a different service - ANY OTHER SERVICE!!!

One occasion I received a pizza upside down in the box, soggy and topping stuck to box. The next time they charged me three times for the same order and I had to wait a week for it to be returned. Awful on every level

Ordered from them in the past had only one issue. But this evening I ordered food and paid for it. The food was never delivered and the customer service said that the driver said he delivered the food. After receiving that message from them I could no longer message them back it’s Like they blocked me or something. So I paid $40 for dinner and ended up out the money no refund no nothing and no food. Horrible customer service would not recommend them and will not use them again.

I ordered a meal and it was delivered to our landlords upstairs. It was found the next morning. However it is now over two weeks and I am still waiting for my refund. I have talked with chat support 4 times now and they keep saying it’s credited on their end. Obviously they lied.

The worst service ever last time I used they were to bring me subs from mrsub never saw the driver probably kept it for him self because it was already paid,I asked customer service if I could pay for my food when it arrives and they said no which means there main is to rip off the customer

The drivers can't follow instructions, worst customer service I've ever experienced. Stay away. I never write complaints about anything. Skip the Dishes is a total rip off. Do not use. Thank you.

Help chat workers are always assholes. If you mess up the address the driver can’t deliver to the correct one and you don’t get a refund. Waste of money and life data

They Literally forgot half of my $200 order at the restaurant and refunded $8.99. So thanks for that guys. Then they blocked my account so I can’t message them online.

First time I ordered and didn't even recieve my purchase and them I waited on the Phone for 20 mins for customer service for them to tell me to hang up and call back and then when I called back they said I should see my refund in 5 days.I don't know about everybody else but that was my last 40 bucks and now we don't get to have a special dinner.

Honestly the worst service for food. You could possibly call a random number offer them money if they get you food and give them a vague description of what you are feeling and you will not only get closer to what you want than skip the dish, it will most likely be faster. I only order here when i can't use any other service and they consistently take between 2-3 hours, deliver cold food to the wrong address then when i finally get it most of the order is missing or wrong. Best part even when i was missing half my order they only tried to give me 5 dollars in "credit" which wouldn't even cover what i didn't get let alone the inconvenience of waiting 2.5 hours. There's a reason this service is rated 1 star.
