they were the only insurance company to ring me up after i took out a policy with them to make sure all my details were correct.they even asked me to confirm my name and address.when i asked them to tell me my name and address then i would confirm which they did. any other company who have asked me to confirm my details have told me i must tell them my details in which i say go and **** yourselfs

When I went to make a claim, i was told there was a 28 day after taking out policy, where I would have to pay a excess of £250. I cancelled my policy and was advised a refund would be issued. THAT WAS 3 MONTHS AGO!!! I am still waiting. I have spoken to numerous customer services who have told me, repeatedly, the refund it with finance, and even sent letters in but still no refund. Disgusting service, a company I would NEVER recommend

I have only just taken out a policy with smart insurance. It is difficult to say how happy I am because I have had no direct dealings with the customer service team. I think if I ever need to make a claim will be the time I should review my experience. I have only rated 3 stars for that reason.

A month later and two phone calls, I'm still waiting for my insurance documents to come through the post. Took the money quick enough though. Perhaps someone could get it sorted as I am a new customer and first impressions are very important.

Dear Customer, Our policy doesn't cover existing faults and there will be an excess fee if you make a claim with in the cooling off period. we enforce this policy in order to avoid fraudulent claims and keep the policy premium competitive enough to our customers.
