Nobody rings back and problems not addressed when put to the staff

Just made a claim on my dad's life insurance and they have refused to pay out. Instead of the funeral cover of £5000 my dad was paying £30 a month for, I have received £328. They are closed at the weekend. People don't pass away Monday to Friday.

Dear Reviewer, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Unfortunately we do not currently provide life insurance which means you have contacted the incorrect company. Please do refer to your policy documents and you will be able to raise this enquiry with them.

Absolutely disgusting service. Poor communication they will try anything not to come out and repair! Never will I use them again

I insured my fridge freezer with Smart cover. After few months it broke down. I called costumer service and they asked me to submit the photos and serial number and proof of purchase. I submitted everything expect the proof of purchase because I could not find it. I called up and they told me to get a bank statement. I provided with a bank statement where it shows clearly that I purchased it from Comet. After two weeks of chasing they told me after that the bank statement is not good enough because it doesn't show what product was bought. I told them that Comet went on liquidation and I can get any more prove. they told me they can not send someone to fix the fridge. I asked them for a full refund as they not providing me with the service that I paid and they told me they need to keep £15.00 of admin fees. I am very disappointed and frustrated with their service.

We do apologise that you have not received the service you expected but our Customer Services team have a process which has been implemented by senior management and which they must adhere to. Unfortunately, these procedures mean that we were unable to process your claim as you were unable to provide the required documentation.

Send proof of documents by Post eight days ago. Called​ yesterday they said not received the letter. But it's​first class mail. Send emails no response

On the 8th of September 2017 we did contact you to inform you that we require further information to proceed with your claim, which has not been received. My claim has been running for 3 weeks and I am no closer to solving my case. Also I was charged £59.99 for next day delivery but they have not bought the TV yet. And one more thing is they promiss to call me back and so far nobody has

I had Insurance with Smart cover . When I make claim for my American style fridge and freezer which I was bought £550 two years ago. Now Smart cover telling me that I have to pay extra either £300 or £1000 for new replacement similar products. My claim cover up to £500. As i told them i can't afford that even brand new one i can bought by £500 from Argos. Then what's reson for insurance. Is kind of joke. Please don't go with Smart cover. Please talk to first about your future claim then go for insurance.

I paid insurance for my TV for years, when my TV finally gave up, i had no number to call. I then cancelled my Direct debit, to get a phone call next day and asked id i wanted to reinstated. As i have a disabled sister i had to get tv out as i have no space to keep it. I was then told i wasn't entitled to anything, so i will never take insurance out again.

I did NOT make a purchase. I rang to say that I no longer needed the insurance cover as I have moved house and no longer have SKY TV. I was told someone would ring me to discuss it further, but no one has done so!
