Many optional tours that we were not aware. I thought the group was too big. Excellent Group Director (Soha) and the Smartour local guys.

Our Tour Director Mrs. Sahar Hamad was excellent. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable and informed. My girlfriend and I had 2 minor mishaps while touring and she provided us with personal attention and resolved the situations. She is an asset to your team! The hotels and river cruise ship were great. Meals were fine. The cost of the tour was well worth the money spent. Thanks for a great tour!

Smartours needs to also offer a Wonders of Israel tour for 14 days to include a longer stay in Tel-Aviv and Haifa! Any chance of that in 2020?

Our trip to Antarctia was wonderful. So glad we went! Our tour guide was always on hand. The landings we made and the Midnastol were perfect. Ship captain kept us safe even during the stormy Drake Crossing. Food was much better than we expected. On the downside we had an awful room even though we paid $2000 extra. Beds need to be replaced. Also Latam Airline had a crazy policy of assigning random seats to couples so that my husband and I were far apart for our overnight trip from Miami to Buenos Aires. (Yes we got strangers to switch with us).

Our guide started with I am an excellent guide, I have been doing this for 8 years. I had to ask several times to answer questions. She read the history and a few other things out of a note book and kept making errors with the read. she dropped us at the hotel and said you are on your own. I will see you tomarrow. she did give us suggestions. All other guides with you have been excellent. Vic Hotel was so hot and dinner was cold. All else was o. k.

The tour was exceptional for the following reasons: 1. Great tour guide with superb explanations relating historical context to the activities and sights seen. 2. Great explanation of safari animals by the guides with the ability to see the big 5 in all reserves visited. 3. Excellent food and good accommodations. 4. Victoria Falls is a must see with the tour of Chobe park in Botswana a must see! 5. The only minor criticism I would offer is that the optional tours could have been better described and explained during the planning phase but the tour director more than made up for this with good explanations and descriptions.

I was recently on the land portion of Vietnam and Cambodia. I would like to fill out the attached review form, but cannot find it. Would you please either forward another copy of it to me at Walter Seekircher, 45 Highland Down, Shoreham, NY 11786..or print it so that I can access it online. It is important for me to use that form. Thank you so much. Walt Seekircher

Very enjoyable tour of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The hotels were great, tour director was knowledgeable, and itinerary was a great overview of the region. Very good value for the price.

A good guide is the most important aspect of a guided tour/trip. Renier(?) was as good as they come!

We have traveled with Smartours before and had good memorable experiences. This Egypt tour, however, fell short of expectation. The Egypt air flight from JFK was held up on the tarmac for 1-1/2 hours and no updates or announcements were ever made. The Aswan- Abu Salem flights were disastrous! The outgoing flight was delayed an hour and the return flight was most chaotic ever with multiple repetitive screenings with associated lost/misplaced items. The whole Abu Salem tour was poorly planned. The original schedule allowed barely enough time [2 hours] and the delay reduced it further making it the most expensive and unwise investment of time and resources. Other groups traveled by cruise ship and spend a night there. Smartours could schedule a night there in the ship instead of an idle day at Luxor. While the Tour Director was a scholarly person and very supportive, same cannot be said about the other ground staff. The Manager provided some inaccurate, contradictory info. on optional tours and fees and failed to offer any regrets. The farewell dinner at Marriott was mismanaged, especially for the vegetarians. The cruise ship was average, but services fell short of expectations. Wifi was unavailable even in the reception area for Smartours clients and food services were very restricted. No tea or snacks were available in-between meal times. Too many early flights, midnight wakeup calls and crowded scheduling [too many commercial store visits] made it a strenuous trip even to many of our seasoned travelers in the group. Overall while it was an educational and valuable trip for us it could have been made more enjoyable with better itinerary scheduling and improved local services. Hope this would be treated by Smartours as constructive criticism from a loyal customer.

I thoroughly enjoyed out trip to Vietnam & Cambodia, however, as you are aware we missed our connection from Shanghai & it would have been nice had we had a representative to meet us & give us some assistance. The airlines put us up in a seedy hotel that left much to be desired & when we tried to get in ouch with Smart we were unable to do so. Hopefully we will be reinbursed for the day missed on our tour

1. the most ill-organized tour we have ever had... 2. egyptair in-flight services from new york to cairo and back was much below standard… 3. the welcome dinner on the first day was not up to the mark... we entered the dining room last and was seated in a corner table and not even supplied all the items that was served to others... quality of the main dish were below standard... 4. on dec 6 our second day in cairo, there was an optional half a day tour to memphis and sakkara but the cairo tour guide decided to add a new tour in the evening to go to the sound and light show in the pyramids... he decided the cost $46.00 per person, although earlier in the bus he said it would be $44.00/person... when we went to pay in the evening before the tour, he denied taking any credit card, he wanted cash $46.00 (not $44.00 as he said before) or 830 egyptian pounds/person that forced us to go to the ATM machine and get some local pounds, the exchange rate was somewhere around 17.5 pounds/dollar plus some fees... so we paid him about $48.00/person (830 pounds), which was not fair... smartour informed us earlier that optional tour payment could be made by credit card... so we tried not to carry heavy cash during the trip... 5. only one optional tour was listed for luxor on dec 11 (luxor musium), but they arranged 3 tours, 1 on dec 10 (evening luxor city tour by horse carriage $15.00 per person and 2 on dec 11 (visit banana island by boat $2400 per person and visit luxor museum $36.00 per person)... we paid luxor tour guide by credit card for these 3 tours... we were never told before about these extra 2 optional tours by smartour... 6. we never had these kind of early morning flight anywhere we visited before with other tour companies... for both cairo to aswan and luxor to cairo flights we had to wake up at 2:30 am to get ready for the flights... 7. the farewell dinner at marriott was awful... dry roasted chicken breast with mashed potato was the main course and there were no other alternative...
