“The highlight of our tour was our lead guide, Zhou Hongku. She did all she could to make our trip easy, but mostly she gave to all us a personal touch and human insight into China. Thank you Zhou!”

“Ketsara, our guide for our group of 14, was the best guide we have ever experienced in our many travels. There were trips to the hospital to oversee two travelers, all with the greatest care shown. She maintained her humor, shared her expertise regarding Thailand, and made each day special. As group leader, I was pleased that such an amazing woman was assigned to our group of friends. Please commend her. Karen Snow, organizer for our trip to Amazing Thailand, starting Nov. 7.”

“Best trip ever can't stop talking about it and showing the many pictures we tooks. Saw the big five animals in South Africa, Table Mountain, Wine Country, Cape of Good Hope, Victoria falls and more. Hotels were also great and the tour directors were very knowledgeable and insured we were safe at all times. This trip was so good we are currently planning our next trip with SmarTours.”

“This tour was an amazing tour. We covered so much in the days we had. Our tour guide, Zhou was the BEST! All our local guides were good, some better than others. The only complaint was the quality of the food in some of the restaurants. We loved the river tour and all of the tours we went on. We could have been given a bit more time on our own and some of the shopping tours were too short.”

“Everything was good and Tommy was an excellent tour director. The only suggestion I have is that the trip should be about 2 days longer. No time to breathe at the start of the trip and when we had two inner country flights, and they were both delayed, it was hard to get to all of our scheduled sightseeing before it got dark.”

“Hello My experience, was amazing. The tour guide Oscar was wonderful, he helped with little things. He was wonderful. The tour was also terrific. This was my 3rd trip with SmarTours. My husband and I went to South Africa, and Ireland, and now China. The things that we saw were absolutely, fantastic. We purchased all of the optional tours. Every one was a great treat,and a new adventure and experience. I have just signed up for to Thailand in July of 2019 year. The other Tour Guides were also very informative.”

“bad flight arrangements with China air rotation of seats on bus was not done first time ever with my 6 trips with SmarTours no enforcement or comments about late comers”

“Some hotels were booked with SMALL single beds. Didn't expect view rooms, but tiny beds are not acceptable when one queen is a couple of $$ more or the same. Flight from Lax to SYD then on to AUK made no sense since we lost a day in Aukland and flew past Aukland 2 1/2 hours waited 2 1/2 hours and flew back to Aukland the first day. Several direct flights to AUK boarded in Lax about the time we left LAX. I had wanted to book my own airfare for this reason, as well as the price difference, but was told that was not possible. I was informed this is what we got for booking a discount trip. After booking Business Class for this trip, it cost the same as many other land tours. At $23K plus, hardly a discount trip. We have booked Africa in May 2019. We hope our Africa trip is not as discounted as this trip was. Tour director could have been much more informative on our daily travels.”

“The accommodations and restaurants included were extraordinary. Our guide, Tommy, couldn’t have been better. He was knowledgeable, caring, considerate and with a good sense of humour. The one thing I found difficult was the pace we had to keep. There were quite a few times where we were functioning on very little sleep and I would have preferred a few extra days in destinations like Hoi An. You certainly get a good bang for your buck with Smartours and I would recommend them without hesitation. The tour concept is maybe just not for me.”

“The tour was amazing. We were very impressed with India. The only concerns were the layover in Delhi on the way home and although the tour guide was very good she could have been more helpful at the New Delhi Airport on our way home. If she had have stayed and helped us check in she might have been able to resolve some issues at the check in desk.”

“As always, we had a wonderful Smartours trip. This time we went to Israel. Our guide, Dan, was knowledgeable about the Jewish history and religion and, at the same time, read to is relevant passages from the New Testament. The Dan Panorama hotels were excellent and had amazing breakfasts with a wide selection of available items. I am so glad we went on this trip. I loved the optional Sea of Galilee tour. Swimming in the Dead Sea was an amazing experience. We will be heading to Machu Picchu, Equador, and the Galápagos Islands next. We can’t wait!”

“This was our first guided tour ever and we didn't quite know what to expect. I was dreading being herded around in a cattle car. My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised at how pleasant, effortless and stress free our vacation was. Our tour guide, Tommy was superb. He was extremely well organized, caring and informative. We were amazed at the range and variety of experiences that were included with our tour. We felt it represented excellent value for money and an all round first class experience.”
