Kiet and Dee were both wonderful and knowledgeable tour guides who couldn’t do enough for us. All the hotels were lovely and in great locations. Halong Bay, Hoi An and Angkor Wat were the highlights for me. So glad I went and can’t wait to do another tour with you.

This trip exceeded my expectations. And the Blue Lagoon more than lives up to its hype. And we saw the Northern Lights. Could not have been better.

The customer service people on the phone were not helpful most of the time and did NOT call back when they said they would. I would have given a lower review if it wasn't for our tour guide, Marcelo who was awesome. I would most likely not use SmarTours again or recommend them.

Marcelo our tour guide went above and beyond what most tour guides provide. He was always available to answer questions or give suggestions for various activities. I would have preferred to take a direct flight from JFK to Buenos Aires.

Our trip was to Costa Rica in Dec. Tour guide/drive were outstanding as was the size of our group. Loved the itinerary. Would rate as overall Very Good except the last night at our Hotel (After we had completed our written evaluation and turned it in) my wife had over 30 bites from bed bugs during the night that still haven't healed in over a month. She notified the front desk on our departure and our tour guide and provided a photo of the bites to tour guide. She also wrote to Smartours but did not receive any response.

The prices are very attractive, but what's not included is annoying: too much free time, so few dinners, constant tipping.

Our guide was inexperienced & uninformed causing missed opportunities to experience sites to their fullest potential. Most of the participants were frustrated & disappointed by this.

The trip to Dubai and Abu- Dhabi was amazing. Our guide Mohammed was very nice and knowledgeable. The hotels and food were excellent. I recommend travelers to visit this unique country. Everything was very well organized. Thank you, SmarTours!

I traveled with my two kids, 20 and 12, and we had the best experience. Ron is hands-down one of the best tour guides I've ever had and the optional tours really made a great trip even better. Can't wait for our next adventure with you guys!

Our tour to China and the Yangtse River Cruise this past November was a wonderful and exciting experience. We could not have asked for a better guide than Jason who was most professional and helpful throughout. He was a kind and attentive host and looked after our every needs. The hotels we stayed in were all first class and the cruise was most enjoyable. The tour itinerary certainly packed in a lot of China in the 18 days. Would we recommend this tour, Absolutely, provided that Jason was on board. Would we go again. Absolutely yes.

We thought that the tour was minimalistic. We enjoyed the provided free time but the tour guide provided very little information at destination, especially Barcelona and Madrid. He only provided a very cheap and poor map of the city. We used the metro and figured out how to get around on foot using our own tour book but expected much better guidance, direction and insight while in Barcelona from our "guide". He basically dropped us off in the city and not much more. We have traveled to Barcelona in the past and understand how pick pockets work the streets and hotel lobbies. I warned others in our group, especially about the later. Out guide didn't warn about the lobby and of course, one person lost their wallet, passport, credit cards and all money on the departure day. The tour guide should have been far more outspoken and watchful. We thought the guide overall was inexperienced, and while friendly was of very little help for people like us that like to roam and explore on our own. The trip spent too much time in the bus; less travel time with more time at destinations would greatly improve this tour. Location of the hotels, excluding Madrid should be more centrally located. Many local guides, especially the woman in Madrid, spoke very poor English. We believe that several tours that we took with SmarTours in the past (around the late 1900s and early 2000s) were of much better quality. By contrast, we would not recommend this tour to others: a very poor value/dollar experience. We will be reluctant to take another SmarTour in the future because of this tour experience. Perhaps other tours offered by this company provide a better quality experience.

several issues I will write to smarTours direct. No suitcase delivery to our rooms in New Zealand. No reimbursement for the Queenstown by night with Skyline Dinner - $68 US or $95 NZ. Walking to this place in the rain when other groups had been bussed. Sydney day cruise was substituted for a lesser trip -.. $40 US or $45 A to 39 A. Overall the trip was great, the tour guides were very informative. Mark was especially helpful to us. I would like feedback on this survey.

Bonnie Backer was an amazing tour director! Caring, interested, passionate, extremely knowledgeable and considerate. The best we ever had! The tour was wonderful. Would recommend it highly!
