“It's amazing that we received this email. While our trip was excellent there were certain matters that were not addressed and Cydney is 12 years old. The request should have come to me, her grandmother, who took her.”

“I loved my trip to Greece; however it was toooooo fast paced for me. The cruise ship and food were adequate. The island were beautiful but I felt way too rushed. The guides we had were awesome‼️ The bus drivers were skilled and got us around safely. Would have loved an additional night in Olympia. The hotel was amazing and I longed to stay another night to enjoy the resort.”

“We had a great time on our tour of Italy. Our tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. The one weird thing was that we needed to pay for the tram from the bus to the site in Pisa. Otherwise, we would have needed to walk. It seems that should have been included in the price. We were surprised how many local tour guides we needed to tip. Generally, the hotels were good. In Rome, however, the AC couldn't be regulated. We needed to have the front desk turn the air off when it got too cold in the evening and on again in the morning when the room began to get too warm. The lighting was bad in that hotel room also. And, there was only one mirror. In Sorrento (our favorite hotel) the hair dryer definitely needed to be upgraded. The Grand Hotel was beautiful. We liked the quaintness of the Venice hotel also. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend Smartours. It is a great way to see the world on a budget.”

“Tour was nice but we missed the first day due to flight cancellation. Claimed loss on insurance but after 2 months received nothing. Still waiting for info from Smartours for 2 months.”

“We were given bad advice to not go to the airport when Swiss Air cancelled our flight. We were told the only flight available would depart the next day at 10pm which would have caused us to lose an entire day of our tour. We went to the airport anyway and got a flight out that same evening. We communicated our new arrival info to ST & still no airport pickup hotel transfer was made available. Had to pay out if pocket fir an expensive taxi and instead of being reimbursed we were told to make a claim with the insurance, as if we weren't adequately inconvenienced already. Apart from all of that. The tour was fine.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Eastern Europe. The price of the trip is outstanding, but that does not mean that the quality was lessened. Tour guide was amazing, hotels were wonderful, and itinerary fabulous. I would definitely look to use them again for another tour.”

“This was by far the most disappointing tour. We have so many wonderful trips- this was a letdown for SmarTours. We may look for other companies such as Gate 1 for future trips. Lovely countries with a bad guide. He was quite arrogant and offered little help to us.”

“Good. This is our third tour with Smart, and it was good, but not exceptional. Lacking in some but not major organization and communication. Suggest one additional day in Moscow.”

“I enjoyed the visit to cuba and the educational experiences that were offered. our guide from smart tours was often unkind in her comments to some of the travelers, offered frequent unrequested personal and political opinion and spoke "over" the cuban guide. The guide from cuba was interested in assuring us safe travels and an enjoyable experience. my initial experience with the new york office was also problematic. it took several attempts to complete registration, was difficult to complete payment on line to be eligible for discount pricing, personnel was not always helpful. doubt that i travel with smart tours again”

“The tour itinerary of Japan was excellent and we saw a lot of the most important sights on our buck list. The exception was the last day which was spent sitting in the airport, when we could have been touring more. The tour guide was not as helpful as others we have had before, and didn't seem to be aware of the options available.”

“thrir was a problem when we transfered from Lima to Cusco not knowing we would have customs check hold bagage and not allow sharps to be kepy in hold bagge because of this I had to turn over my Swiss Army knife which I have carried for over 40 years in my hold baggage this has really upset me and I can not give agood recomemdation. this loss is due to your lack of duedillagemce”

“The Iceland Summer Adventure tour was my first time using smarTours and I had a great time visiting this very unique island/country. Our tour guide was very informative and helpful and we enjoyed our trip so much that I'm all signed up for the Magical Ireland Tour in September. If there was one downside to our trip it was having to fly out of JFK airport fortunately we will by flying from Newark on the Magical Ireland tour.”
