About Snoozer Pet Products:

Snoozer was established in Greenville, South Carolina in 1985 with the intention of manufacturing and selling the finest dog beds, dog car seats, dog sofas and pet accessories in the industry. The same values that drove the establishment of the company then remain instilled in the company today. Snoozer is family owned and operated, and most of our products are sewn and assembled by hand here in the USA.

As we like to say, there’s not a single difference between a Snoozer and a dog bed off the shelf: there are several.

Quality and durability are sewn into every detail. You can see it in the made-to-order fabric. You can feel it in superior, resilient cushioning. You can even smell it in the cedar shavings that accompany our poly fill.

Other details aren’t as obvious, but they matter just as much. For instance, overlocked stitching hides rugged brass zippers. That’s because liners are made to be washer-friendly, just like our covers. When the time comes, you can replace the filling and make your Snoozer like new again, year in and year out.

Your pet is part of the family. We get that – because we feel exactly the same way. That’s why we think about how dogs behave. We watch how they age. And we manufacture dog beds and other products that are going to make both you and your dog happy for a long, long time.

We do source high quality fabrics for all of our beds, car seats and accessories, but our most well-loved and distinguished fabrics are from our luxury lines of Show Dog, Wag and Luxury Microsuede. Once you purchase one of these it is very hard to compare them to our standard fabrics, which are not as soft and luxurious as the other lines. “Awful customer service. They listed the value for Canadian customs as more than three times the actual value so I was charged a much higher rate in duty than I should have been. When I contacted them, the said they were going to fix this error that was a lack of communication between them and UPS, however they are now ignoring my messages.”

We do offer two separate styles - our standard cozy caves and our orthopedic cozy caves which have different styles of filling. However we have not made any changes to the designs of the cozy cave. “Awesome pet seat, I have a large which would fit 2 10-12 lb. Or so dogs. Have had this product for years and love it. I also bought one for my neice. Well worth the $. Our dogs go everywhere with us and need the comfort. Occasionally I find my 50 lb. Lab in it and the little one in his spot, a little small for him but he doesn't care. The cover is also washable.”

“My dogs love this bed, I keep it in the car most of the time, and sometimes bring it in the house. My first Iggy would stay in his bed for long drives waking to look out the window then gently drift off to sleep. If I was washing or waxing the car he wanted to be in his bed to watch all the activity. The beds are incredibly durable, comfortable and safe for your precious pup, which makes Mama and Papa happy knowing their little loved ones are safe, warm and happy! “We chose the waterproof Snoozer outdoor bed for indoor use because we needed a cover that would protect the bed from our dog's sensitive stomach vomiting. We got tired of throwing out other beds! With this bed, we can simply pull off the cover and machine wash and dry! No mess reaches the internal bed underneath the cover. Plus, we've discovered this is the only bed cover strong enough to withstand our Great Pyrenees' scratching habit! He does eventually cut through the cover, but not for many months (compared with one day on other bed covers). Snoozer is saving us money and all our giant dogs love the bed!”

Hi Scott, Thank you for your feedback! Some pups do go through a transitional phase or adjustment period when getting used to their new beds. Most owners report their pups warming up to the new bed within a couple of weeks. The most recommended methods we have heard are using treats, getting in the bed with the dog, putting toys in the bed and just giving it time.
