“Phoned to make an order and was re-directed to the web-site. Best to make that clear on the web-site really. Other than that, extremely friendly and helpful and delivered in double quick time and in great shape. Mark Bass - Mini Mark - what a phenomenal bit of kit. Been playing bass for 30 years and this blows all other bass amps I've owned out of the water.”

“I was looking for the weehbo jvm pedal, contacted alot of stores and only sounds great music replied to me the earliest. Everything was smooth and very prompt and fast. I like how they include a checklist, making sure the item is correct and in working order! Will definitely buy more from sounds great music! They treat me like a loyal customer!”

“I recently bought a MXR DynaComp script at Sounds Great Music...one of my favourite shops. Mine is the 9v version with the LED, not the more expensive pedal board unfriendly battery only reissue. Previously I also have a block MXR DynaComp. Both DannyB and DanT help me spend money in the shop as always. They know my preferences well and are very helpful, and knowledgable. In the past they have encouraged me to buy often a more reasonable option if they think it suits my playing. I tried a few different compressors including some even more pricey and like the script DynaComp the best. The script version is just a bit clearer than the block logo version, but it costs a lot more...is it worth the difference..maybe. The difference between script and block versions of the Dyna Comp is NOT as much as between the script and block versions of the phase90..another mxr classic. I love Dyna Comps either for country style or Gilmourish stuff. Sounds great with a baja tele or strat into my Super Reverb reissue. If you link the 2 Dyna Comps it is great for slide! I will at a pinch use on a carved top archtop, but wouldn't use on a Lowden acoustic as they really squash the sound. An effect not a studio style compressor. I have preferred Dyna comps to Boss style previously because I find the buffer in the latter colours the sound more. What I like about DynaComps is 1) their simplicity and 2) that they interact well with my other pedals (I have lots of MXRs, tube screamer, some EHX pedals. Without a buffer you are not stacking loads of buffers onto each other. I love that you can alter the settings of the knob with your toe I also have other compressors..a budget Chord compressor (which has a buffer like a Boss) which is inferior and an EHX Black finger tube compressor which is great but huge and runs on 12V AC, and is better and more versatile in many ways than the Dyna Comp but VERY pedal board unfriendly.”

“Over the years I've bought quite a few guitars and amps from Sounds Great, but this was my first internet experience with the company, and I have say the service was excellent. My resent purchase was a Fender American deluxe Jazz Bass, once I had decided to push the button the process went really smooth, and without any problem. My contact at the shop was Neil who provided great communication and answered any question I had my return mail. The company shipped with Fedex which was another bonus for me. Neil suggested holding the guitar over the weekend to avoid it being sat in a cold warehouse over the weekend in total the shipping time to my home in Vienna Austria took 3 working day which was great, The guitar was packed really well in two boxes which kept the guitar safe and sound during its long journey, arriving safe and sound in perfect condition. I could not ask for better service, I would highly recommend buying from Sounds Great, its a small shop who offer the best of everything quality products at fair prices and super service and advise. What more could you ask for.”
