“Went for an annual eye exam today, no charge.
Dr Aujla tested my eyes including diabetis and totally explained all the results.
Then the tech Irene quoted the cost of new computer progressives and put the order on file for me to order later. She made the experience extremely pleasant while she adjusted my existing glasses to fit so comfortable that I don't have to constantly push them up any more.
I highly recommend Specsavers for their professionalism, skill and after service, especially after the last company charged me $150 for the exam and was quoting $1000 more for the glasses.”
“I (plus my wife) have been using the Hereford branch for years, never had any problems. Had to go back today to return a pair of glasses as wasn't happy with one of the features of the frame, always a daunting task (complaining) but I was dealt with efficiently and effectively, by a young man who when I looked closer was a trainee optical assistant, hope he doesn't lose that enthusiasm l. Anyway he was very helpful and sorted my problem out immediately. Quite heartening when compared with other reviews on here.”
“The Specsavers home visit team have just been to visit my mum, who is in her 90s. They were excellent. Explained everything clearly and took time to make sure she was happy. There were a large selection of frames to choose from. New glasses are due to arrive in a week to 10 days. Fingers crossed they do!”
“I arrived at Specsavers Fuengirola a few minutes before my appointment was greeted by my name and ushered to a darkened room where Louise did the preliminary tests. She then introduced me to Amina, the optometrist, who went on to do a thorough eye test. Amina gave me easily understandable explanations and recommended that I get the new prescription but understood my reason for not doing so at that moment. John then went through the cost of the spectacles and gave me a written breakdown of the cost of the new glasses and told me to return whenever I was ready. At no time did I feel pressurized in any way to fill the prescription. I felt very comfortable and at ease throughout. I have been going to the Fuengirola branch of Specsavers since it first opened and shall continue to do so. Thank you all.”

I have since received a phone call and invited to return to the Branch this morning 27.07.23 at 9.30 , I met the manager a young lady called Teala , she had my glasses frames examined in the repair department and then offered me a new pair of frames . She was very professional and kind, I received a very detailed and accurate eye check, an OCT, nothing was left behind. Together with all the technological tools at specsavers Islington they deliver a very satisfying customer service. Ask for the Manager Marcus, he is a very professional and skilled advisor. “Seems that they do not know their refund policy. I can see better from my old glasses although the prescription has hardly changed. I know the prescription is correct as I have been going to the same optometrist for years. Everybody I talk to there doesn’t have enough experience to know anything. I was told to wear the glasses that I cannot see from so my eyes will get accustomed to the glasses. They are going in the garbage as I use them for my work computer and am getting headaches and sore eyes. Too much hassle to get it right from a bunch of inexperienced people.”
