First appointment was cancelled due to illness of one of the opticians, and apparently was ill again on day of my husbands test. The optician who can to the house did not introduce himself/or give us a business card. He was very short with my husband, definitely didn’t have the manner for vulnerable people. I felt it was a poor testing method. The amount paid was too expensive (to late to do anything about that by the end). Time to receive new glasses...25 days is just ridiculous. My husband had had a fall and broke his glasses so was hoping he would get new ones quickly...that is not going to happen !! Definitely wouldn’t recommend Specsavers or this method of testing.

I was given the wrong prescription - which was actually another customers. Then when I complained, the franchise I was complaining about got the email forwarded to them. Absolutely diabolical business management.

So disappointed with there services, I ask an inquiry if how much the price to buy this item and then when you finalized to buy the item the price amount would change. because she said the other staff was confused about the prices which are the very unprofessional staff. I would never go back to this company.

I went for my first eye test in 20 years at Specsavers, Brixton, and then was lucky to have the lovely Yasmeen to help me choose my frames. Yasmeen was very professional, kind and helpful, and made sure that everything ran smoothly with my first pair of glasses. A big thank you to Yasmeen and all the team at Specsavers, Brixton.

I’ve just used Specsavers home eye test for the 2nd time and found it to be an excellent service. The two people who came were friendly but professional and explained what was going on. I received my new glasses within the week. We find it so easy to complain nowadays so it’s good to report excellent customer service

I am very pleased and in fact overwhelmed by the service I received from Kirsty Ginger (Audiology Practitioner) at your Christchurch Branch. She is an employee in a million, who went over and above 'the call of duty' to provide an excellent service to me last week. Not only was she sympathetic and empathic towards me, she clearly understood my frustrations at my GP surgery! Having confirmed that there was damage to my eardrum, she also sensitively informed me that there was further damage in my inner ear. She then offered me a further appointment later in the week to take a photo of my eardrum so I had evidence for my GP who was unable to see the damage herself. She worked during her lunch break and after work to ensure that I had the printed information I needed to present to my GP the following day. In all she was kind and caring. Thank you Kirsty!

I was delighted when specsavers employee “ Peter Ireland” from Cambridge Fitzroy Street Branch helped with my lenses reconfiguration/adjustment/modification/ to my recent variofocals prescription. I therefore wish to leave *****5 star feedback on the help I received from him. I can only recommend Peter in the Very highest regard as a true professional. Michael young.

If you need your glasses fixed and someone says you have to get new ones - ask for Jehvornie. I had such a pleasant experience today when he fixed my glasses right up. Full story: I came into the store in Brixton a week ago, after having sat on my glasses a few months earlier, and finally decided I'd like them fixed. A partner tried to fix them and told me they could reuse the lenses and I'd get new frames for half the price. I decided that they were still in an all right shape, but when I got home they fell to pieces! Can't help feeling that partner just made the screws looser. I fixed them cheap Harry Potter style with a bit of tape and after feeling cheap for about a week, decided that I'd just fork up the cash. In comes Jehvornie, showing ambition and love to the universe and a fellow human being, and fixed them right up. THANKS, brother.

OK, theyre busy, leave untrained staff to do as much as poss...but we made appt for checkups (which we get free on NHS). Rang me day before to inform me I'm down for an extended eye check (I have no eye conditions beyond myopia.) Sounded great...till further questions reveal theyre intending to screw £10 out of each of us for privilege. Cancelled & went elsewhere, where we were told it's completely unnecessary as standard NHS test covers everything anyway! Also pleasantly surprised that while Specsavers dont re-glaze old glasses (desperate to sell new ones & screw yet more out of you) my other optician were FINE with doing that, if frames in good condition! Never intend to return to Specsavers. Kind of the McDonalds of opticians (no, that's unfair, McDonalds arent greedy & scamming!)

Made an apionment on line for eye test at the crunch end branch north london for what I thought was a free eye test after trying to call store and keep getting answer machine I spike a staff who took my details and said a call back would happen after 3 hours I called back and spoke to the same person who said he would get someone after being put to Rajiev kotecha (director) after explaining Anour the free eye test I saw on line he was not interested and they was no customer service or he was not helpful at all. Just avoid the crunch end branch he was so rude . In the end booked with the wood green branch who was so helpful

Having been a long term customer with Specsavers Milton Keynes and up til now been very happy with their service, find myself very disappointed and saddened by the behaviour of the Manager at Milton Keynes. I initially bought some frames last year, within a few months one of the sides came off (always the same side, I would put the glasses down on my table and when I pick them up the right hand side has come away from the glasses, we returned them and the staff were very helpful, they stated that they believed it was a design problem, they would order me another pair meanwhile the young lady glued the frame back on while we were waiting for the new pair, unfortunately that did not help as the side became detached again. Moving forward this happened again with the new pair of frames, the same fault exactly within 4/5 months We then took the second pair back and we again were treated very well by the young lady. We stated that if the next frames did the same we would need to change the style of the frames, the young lady was in agreement with this and it was all inputted on the shops computer system so that everything would be clear. Well. I have had the current glasses since July 2019 and now the very same thing has occurred, the right hand side has become detached. I returned to the Branch to be dealt with by the Manager who stated that it was not a design fault and that in fact it was my fault, even though we explained the whole history of this sorry case he was adamant that it was a customer issue, but that in this case only he would replace the frames but it would be logged into the system against me. Words cannot describe how I felt to be accused of lying I have never had any problems with Specsavers previously with all the previous glasses that I had bought and declined his most generous offer of putting a black mark against me in their system. Needless to say Specsavers have lost a long standing customer and find it incomprehensible that in these days with shopping on line for glasses that Specsavers should be so cavalier their approach to their customers. Received a brilliant customer service at Specsavers in Kensington. My husband and I both had been pre-tested by Pryanka and eye examined by Randeep who was very thorough. I was pleased with Pryanka who was extremely patient with my husband who is a chatterbox and was being picky choosing frames. She helped my husband choose a best fitting frame so his lenses could fit in as his prescription is quite thick. She is a gem and perfectionist in picking out frames according to the customer’s face shape and what colour suits the person. Thank you both ever so much Pryanka & Randeep.

I tried to leave 0 rating but it wouldn't let me. AWFULL first app after waiting 3 hrs no phone call my disabled elderly mum gave up. I made another app 2 wks later & again 3hrs after the app window had past I called to ask where they were & was told they would definatley be arriving shortly.....we are still waiting??? No phone call to apologise or re book. No explanation just call centre saying it happens a lot they loose contact with the team on the road. I find that very hard to believe!!!! They must have a mobile phone. WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. They are meant to be attending elderly & disabled people in their home after all????????

I arrived 8 minutes late for my eye test, I was told they only allow 5 minutes. I explained that I had actually cancelled another appointment to come today as it was my only day off and that last time I arrived on time and they cancelled. Was still told to rebook. I said, not bloody likely, plenty of other places to go.
