“Paid for express delivery. Ordered for two days prior to the date I require the cakes for. Now Amazon aren’t delivering until after that date so a waste of £40+ as the cakes will have been in transit for five days and I don’t want them. Order number 2091551”
“Used Sponge for many years. Always great cakes and first class delivery. Now delivery has changed to Amazon and Sponge don't understand a 2 day delivery means it is pointless dispatching it the day before the delivery date. Now the cake will be at least 4 days late. You might as well make the cake yourself. I won't be using again.”

“I will not be ordering from this company again. I fell in love with the Quirky Card and Cakes a nice change from the bog standard card. First time was fine, but second and third time the card did not arrive when it should of and when I checked the tracking it was posted after 4pm 2 days before the card was due to arrive and the cake only had two days before it reached the best before date. I contacted Lauren in customer services to say three times the mailman was past and the cake did not arrive, but to be frank she couldnt care less kept saying wait until 5pm even though I said the mailman handed me my other parcels but this was not there. They post too late for the date and the cake is okay. I told Lauren I was disappointed and will not be ordering again to which she replied "Okay no problem". Take my advise loads of other companies do this services out there use them and not this one. I 100% will no be buying again.
Edited - 16/03/2023 - please note the response below is rubbish and they have blocked me on Facebook when I requested a refund this morning. I ordered so I could have the delivery 16th March for my mothers birthday today 17th March. I have been advised the Card arrived 17th March @ 14.25 too late for giving to my mum at her birthday lunch so had to go out and buy a birthday card, due to this arriving too late. Awful company to deal with and customer service non existent. If we ordered the card with more than a few days of the due date of the birthday the cake would be out of date for giving to my mum. Give this company as wide berth !! Complain and they will block you on Facebook.”
“ORdered Wednesday morning for next day delivery. Didn't come next day, or the day after. apparently the courier company didn't get it in time. Unfortuantely it was for a wedding tomorrow so too late now. Absolutely gutting”
“We ordered a cake for my Granddad as a lockdown surprise. Unfortunately the delivery firm left the cake outside in the sun on the hottest day of the year and didn't notify us that it had been delivered for 4hrs. The cake (which was filled with buttercream) was inedible.
What was worse was the reaction of the company (Amy) who was incredibly condescending in her responses and essentially told us it was tough and the cake would have been fine sat in the sun all day!

“The cake that I spent a generous £25 on for my mother and fathers birthday was left in a general waste bin in 24 degree heat for a day as no calling card had been left. When contacting customer service they apologised and could not investigate, which I find absolutely appalling, wouldnt bother spending your money here guys and girls.”
