“I ordered my Square Off Neo and accessories worth $317 back in August of 2022. Thankfully, I used PayPal to pay for the items. They informed me that they estimated that it will ship by November 30th 2022 and during which, they kept sending me emails to assure me that the waiting will be well worth it. Then other marketing emails just kept coming. While keeping my hopes of receiving the chess set when November rolled around, I was eager to see an "shipping notification" before November 30th. Then it went past November 30th and did not see anything. Then finally, sometime in December, I receive an email stating that the product shipment has been delayed due to unforeseen "logistics issue" -- Logistics Issue? I said to myself. What does that mean? Issue with DHL, UPS, FedEx? What?? Then I gave them the benefit of a doubt and waiting until January. Then I can stumbled upon lots of negative experiences with other folks whom went through similar ordeal as myself. Then I contacted PayPal Resolution -- although they sent for information to Square Off, they've not responded at all. So I am waiting for my refund at this point.
Do yourself a favor, stay clear away from this mechant.”
“So I purchased the pro board from the manufacturer directly. This was a big mistake and should've bought it from Amazon.
The board ($269 worth) never arrived and UPS said it was damaged in transit and being returned to sender.
Squareoff Customer service simply said, "oh yeah the product was delivered" and never again responded to my emails. I have no way to get the product or recover the $269.

I must honestly warn customers NOT to BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE!!
THIS COMPANY DOES NOT VALUE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS THAT LOOKS FIRST ON THEIR WEBSITE TO SUPPORT RATHER THAN BUYING FROM OTHER CHESS DEALERS!! IF YOU BOUGHT FROM THEIR WEBSITE, YOU ARE AT THEIR MERCY, AND MOST LIKELY WILL EXPERIENCE SIGNIFICANT DELAY OF YOUR PRODUCT!! (IF EVER THEY WILL BE DELIVERED AT ALL!!!) THEY HAVE A VERY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS ON WHO THEY SHOULD VALUE FIRST, AND in RETAINING CUSTOMERS...The Company was a huge disappointment!. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO OF GOING THRU THE HASSLE of COMMUNICATING WITH MY BANK AND THEM, FOR A REFUND was a complete disappointment! because of a product that was not delivered. IT WAS a VERY EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE!. Their business SCAM tactic is to inform you that the product you ordered has been delayed, again and again! just to keep you in the loop! you will notice that you will receive recycled, generic canned messages to keep you waiting for an empty promise of a delivery date! The time i lost, was not something i could get back, MAKES ME WANT TO RETHINK MY INTEREST AND BEING CAUTIOUS oN SUPPORTING INDEPENDENT BUSINESS AGAIN!!
My advice is: IF YOU EVER, AND REALLY WANT TO GET THEIR PRODUCT. Do Not buy from their website!, BUY it FROM A REPUTABLE THIRD PARTY VENDOR THAT WOULD GET YOUR PRODUCT SHIPPED IN ONLY A COUPLE OF DAYS!!
As a word of advise to learn from my experience, if got baited in buying from their website: DO not buy via debit, always use a credit card and try to make a claim to your card provider as soon as possible, when a sign of delivery is delayed!. AS some credit card company only has a grace period of 90 to 120 days from the time of purchase to make a claim. Keep all your written/emailed communications intact and saved. and Never agree to anything less of 100% money back return!
just a Warning to potential buyers: AT this rate in how they treat their website customers, i won't be surprised if they would loose business in a few years, having their app that you download unsupported and useless, turning the dependent to the app chess machine that you bought to only a dull piece of equipment/pieces.
