Mr. Macnamara, Thank you for your review. I see that your order was placed last Monday, April 27th and delivered today, Friday May 8th, for a total of 12 days from order to receipt. Please keep in mind we are a family run business doing the best we possibly can. Due to COVID-19 and government mandated restrictions, our entire office staff is working from home while our warehouse crew diligently processes orders to ship ASAP. Considering the circumstances, we can say we did our best to ship this to you in a timely fashion. We also sent an email explaining these current limitations after you placed your order, as well as a tracking email the day your order shipped. I hope these reasons are understandable to you. It's not uncommon for customers to order less than what they need, as it can be difficult to speculate how much fire glass is in 1lb. “This is my new fire pit company! Customer service is outstanding! Really one of the best companies I have worked with over the phone. They are very helpful and willing to work with the customer to ensure that their order is right. Ordered evergreen fire glass and a fire ring, etc. The color of the fire glass was a little bluer than it appears online, but still looks good in my fire pit/yard. Thanks, Starfire!”

“From the time I ordered I was not told of any delivery date, then I received a message to not call about my order because you were so busy, and I should expect delivery that could be as long as 7 days from the date it was ordered. That was 10 days after my order, then I finally got a note that it had been shipped and would be here in 3 days, and it was delivered the next day. The product was excellent, but the communication was not.”

Mr. Carrizales, Thank you for your review. It looks like your order was placed on 4/29, shipped on 5/1, and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow on 5/5. The email you may be referring to is a general email that has been going out to all of our customers explaining delays with certain products, why the delays are happening, and what we're doing about it. But this doesn't apply to all products, as is the case with your order. The goal of this email was intended to offer transparency to our customers so reasonable expectations could be met.
