“A very reasonably priced holiday insurance for two 80 year old travellers. Automatic renewal seems to work well, as we were notified of the new premium well before the renewal date.”

“Renewed my annual policy for the 4th year. Also took out a policy for my wife (recently married). Very professional and clear over the phone. Needed a recommended policy for pre-existing conditions. I have never had to claim on policy, so cannot comment on how good they are at settling claims.”

“Ellie was very helpful and patient with me. Thank you Ellie. Very good service and she obviously had good knowledge of all the policy regulations and questions. Very reassuring. I would recommend Staysure to my friends and feel relieved that my friend and I have the insurance we need to cover our Spa stay.”

“Have been a customer with annual travel insurance for several years. It seems to me they actively look for ways not to be helpful or pay claims so this year I have moved to a different company. Egs: 1) I rang the emergency medical advice line when my husband had an infection in I eland. I didn’t want to claim - just some info about what the procedure was to get some antibiotics for him on a Saturday morning. They didn’t know so I had to find out for myself 2) his glasses were damaged during a storm on board a ship in Norway this year. Immediate response was” no cover” because we didn’t have a written report from the tour company about the incident. Strangely it hadn’t crossed my mind to ask for such a thing in the middle of a Force 10 gale off the Lofoten Islands ( what was I thinking!) Fortunately we didn’t need to pursue a claim anyway as Boots the Opticians have a much better attitude to customer service and replaced his specs free as he was within their 3 month guarantee period. If this is their attitude on small things I don’t want to try them out on a real emergency.”

“The quote was good but details incorrect when policy sent, after a long conversation on line I asked for a refund as the price had changed. I tried to book a different insurance but despite repeated attempts the site just would not enter my age correctly no matter how many times I tried and despite having my correct date of birth! I would have like to have used them but far too exhausting to keep checking they have the details finally correct. I will wait to see how long the refund takes now.”

“The intro when phoning is too long, I nearly hung up. People don't need to hear so much information prior to speaking to someone. Only used them because company was recommended to me. Once I got through, friendly and efficient.”
