“Dear Tomorrowland Team,
I am writing to provide formal feedback on the deeply frustrating and unfair experiences encountered during the recent ticket sales for Tomorrowland Thailand 2026. As a group of 12 dedicated fans who have already booked hotels in Thailand in anticipation of attending this bucket-list event, we are profoundly disappointed by the systemic issues that effectively prevented most of us from securing tickets.
1. Unfair and Opaque Queuing System
Our group – spanning New Zealand, Australia, and Canada – approached both the Hotel Packages and Worldwide Ticket sales with careful preparation, having learned from the earlier sold-out Hotel phase (where tickets vanished within an hour despite hours of waiting). We logged in simultaneously from eight separate accounts as soon as the shop opened, staying in constant communication throughout.
Remarkably, only one member (from Canada, who joined slightly later) succeeded in accessing and attempting purchases multiple times. The rest of us remained stuck or were repeatedly timed out, despite identical efforts and earlier entry. This stark disparity raises serious questions about how the queuing system allocates positions, handles international connections, or prioritises certain regions/servers. The complete lack of transparency regarding queue positions, estimated wait times, or country-based handling made the process feel arbitrary and deeply inequitable.
2. Critical Flaws in the Payment Verification Process
Compounding the queuing issues were repeated failures during checkout due to credit card verifications. We had proactively notified our banks about the anticipated large transactions, yet secondary authentication systems (e.g., bank app approvals, OTPs) could not complete in time.
• Multiple attempts resulted in immediate timeouts on the Tomorrowland payment gateway, triggering “fraud” flags.
• Banks then placed holds on our cards after failed verifications, viewing the site as suspicious.
• Even prior successful small purchases (e.g., t-shirts from the store) saw cards declined until manually cleared, highlighting the inconsistency.
• Our Canadian group member faced the same issue across four separate cards from different issuers, all blocked due to insufficient time for legitimate secondary verification.
In an era where banks rightfully prioritise fraud protection, the payment system must accommodate modern authentication protocols rather than penalise customers for them. The current setup effectively blocks valid purchases and punishes international buyers.
These combined failures turned what should have been an exciting opportunity into an extremely stressful and demoralising ordeal. We will hesitate – if not outright refuse – to attempt purchasing Tomorrowland tickets in the future unless significant improvements are made.
We respectfully but firmly urge you to:
• Introduce clear, real-time visibility into queue status and position.
• Extend timeouts during checkout to allow for secure secondary verifications without automatic declines.
• Investigate potential geographic/server biases in queue allocation.
• Consider compensation options (e.g., priority access or reserved tickets) for affected buyers in future sales, especially given the high demand and rapid sell-outs.
We remain passionate about Tomorrowland and hope this detailed feedback helps refine the process for the global community. Please confirm receipt and advise if further details are required.
Thank you for your attention.

“I really love the packaging of the gift box, and the delivery was very fast. I was truly excited and really liked it.
However, could the texture/quality of the clothes be improved? After all, they’re not cheap. At this price point, it feels a bit unreasonable.”
