“Inferior products do not stand behind their products. 2013 scion restored ride height trade off is knocking on bumps....not a "complete strut" sent video to them as they asked and crickets.”
“Warning $100 restock fee Plus shipping. Order through Amazon!
I purchased a stock conversion kit for a 1999 LX470.
I called Strutmasters to cancel the order and transferred to a phone air tool noises.
Called FedEx and Strutmasters has a clause that they can only cancel orders, NOT.
I called purchasing as if I was trying to make an order.
The same person answered my original order and told me not to order from Amazon.
Their charm is a ripoff.”
“Buying Strutmasters for 2013 Cadillac XTS was a nightmare! First, no repair shop wanted to install a "conversion" strut kit saying they would not go against manufacturer's specifications. Second, you can get regular GM strut parts for about the same price. Third, you're gonna need upper mounts which don't come with Srutmasters, but they don't mention that. Don't waste your money.”
“Purchased a conversion kit for my 2014 Hyundai Equus. Turned out the installer did not properly install the parts and I had rattling noises. Strutmasters stayed in contact with me and a subsequent mechanic who was able to correct the issues. Jeff @ Strutmasters always took my calls, offered helpful suggestions, and was glad to also talk to the correcting mechanic. I highly recommend Strutmasters and the conversion kit I bought. End result is excellent so far - 12,000+ miles.”
“After replacing the factory hydraulic struts, with Strutmasters coilover replacements, the struts broke after 14 months and 12,000 miles. Both rear struts completely broke into. Their only solution was to sell me new ones add an expanded price”
“they send the part to my billing address of my cARD NOT TO THE SHIPPING ADDRESS THAT I PUT AND WHERE I LIVE RIGHT NOW IT IS 3 HORAS AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE ONLY THING THEY CAN HELP ME IS TELLING ME TO DRIVE THE 3 HORAS TO GET MY PART NO RETURN NO REFUND NO NOTHING DONT BUY FROM THIS PAGE NOT GOOD SOPPURT VERY BAD”
“I put the replacement rear shocks and springs on my 2008 Cadillac DTS. It road so bad that I tried to contact the Strut Madter Company to find out if they might of sent the wrong parts. The tech line said to leave a message and they would call me back. They never called back and the technical department is nonexistent. I put the original parts back on the car. I'm out the over $500.”
“After what could be considered normal repairs to the Air Suspension system on my 2005 Ford Crown Victoria, my last straw was when the compressor failed. I bought the rear coil conversion set, and was mainly concerned about ride height. Luckily, it was a perfect solution to my Air Ride issues. Ride height was perfect, parts went in in less than one hour, and since this conversion, I have had no noises or other problems.”
“"I had a problem with my Hyundai Equus Air Suspension and fixing it would be very expensive (Hyundai does not back its flagship vehicles.) I started looking for an alternative. I came up with Strutmasters. I ordered the suspension system and was told it would arrive at my mechanic's shop in three to five days (I'll even give them work days although that was never mentioned). The problems began here. The suspension DID NOT arrive in 3-5 days, nor was it shipped during that 3-5-day delivery window. This went on and on with incorrect updated shipping times. I ordered the product on Sept 10 and it finally arrived on September 28. All in all, my car rental bill, because of Strutmasters, ran over $750. I could no longer keep adding rental expenses given the continued inaccuracies of Strutmasters delivery dates so I traded in my car and bought a new one. When the suspension finally arrived, I returned it to Strutmaster (cost $89 more out of my pocket to ship it back) and was charged a 20% restocking fee by Strutmaster. Really?????? This is after having to pay over $750 in rental charges because of Strutmasters' delays. If you use a company who treats its customers Strutmasters did me, you have to be OUT OF YOUR MIND."

“Worst mistake I made. Driving a Mercedes equipped with AirMatic suspension should be a comfortable and soothing experience. After all, the smooth ride of a fine German luxury car is legendary! But as these vehicles age, the active air suspension system develops malfunctions. Here's my mistake, I replace this luxury ride for the Strutmasters conversion. Strutmasters conversion kit took a beautiful and enjoyable driving luxury automobile to that of a Dodge. Strutmasters didn't want to help and tried to avoid the issues I have at all costs. I can no longer enjoy my Mercedes to the point that I’m replacing the entire system back to the original Mercedes airmatic. The lack of customer service the fact they don’t care about you after the sale plus the crappy parts, wrong ride height, noise coming from the new parts, the unsafe freeway handling is the only reason to not buy from them ever! Check them out on yelp and other review sights too see just what other people say before spending your money and wasting your efforts.”
“Great sales people but inferior products. What they ship to you is not as advertised. I recently made a purchase and spent $500 + 30 shipping. I was unhappy with the product and only took it out of the box to inspect. I returned it and lost $100 due to a restocking fee (even though the product was still new/never installed) and payed another $30 to ship it back. The first attempt to return was calling their customer service dept which I NEVER got through to. It was forever busy. My success was only through email. Once I received the RA (Return Authorizations) I returned it via UPS so I could track it. It took two weeks for me to receive my refund after it was confirmed that the company received the product back.
Buyer Beware.”
