Sundae quickly got back to me with several offers, including the highest offer I had received after contacting multiple quick sale home buying companies online. We agreed on doing a virtual walk through and not inviting investors or having a traditional open house. Without my permission or knowledge they privately invited one investor and also listed my walk through as being an open house so multiple investors showed up. I did not like how there was not an online portal to see the offers, I had to rely on getting the numbers from the agent. I also was not given a copy of the inspection. It felt very chaotic and the lack of consistent communication was frustrating. I was under the impression that the investor who agreed to purchase my home was a cash sale, they were not. Our closing date was delayed (but they ensured that I received extra funding for the delay.) The title company they contracted with (First American Title) was very unprofessional and definitely not a pleasure to work with. I closed with many questions still lingering in the air. They did what they said they would do and sold my house, but the chaos, lack of communication and awful vendors would lead me to not recommend them. Everyone at Sundae was very friendly and you work with multiple people at Sundae. Everyone has a separate role. I'm glad they sold my house fairly quickly but I wouldn't use them again.

Hi Sarah, we wanted to apologize for your experience working with us. The lack of communication from our team, the experience you had with our vendors and our MarketEexpert were all unacceptable to us, and we wanted to let you know that we are actively addressing these issues. We’ve decided to let that employee go, and have begun the process of retraining our field members to ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again in the future. We also wanted to apologize for your experience working with the title company. We’ve recently decided to part ways with this title company as we have received multiple complaints from other sellers. Thank you for your kind words regarding our Sundae team. We understand that this was a frustrating experience, and are actively addressing everything that went wrong with your closing. Thank you again for your feedback.

After considering several options, I decided to go with Sundae. And I’m glad I did. What was a stressful situation for my wife and I, the entire team at Sundae made it a very stress-free and easily understood process. They were both compassionate and professional. Something you just don’t find very often. Thank you Sundae for what you did for us!

It was a great experience working with Sundae team. Initially, we were in 2 minds whether to go with traditional realtor or Sundae. The professionalism from John to Sarah in closing were a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend Sundae to my friends and family.

The process with your company was uneven at best. Then to add insult to injury we find that less than six weeks after we sold the house to one of your investors, they flip the property for nearly $100,000 more than they paid us! https://www.mlslistings.com/property/crsw21196733/10713-maple-ave-bloomington-ca-92316 This made us sick to our stomach. We do realize that your investors are in business to make money. The thing that really upset us is that the Representatives from Sundae kept making comments that this was the best price that they could come up with which originally was $247,000. Then one of your managers calls me and says they’re going to raise it to $255,000 and they were taking a portion of their profit to offer us that much money. In other words they were acting like the market was so tight that that was the very best that they could do. It seems that we have been “played”by Sundae Corporation. We realize that there are costs associated with buying the property so they probably had a total of 270 maybe $275,000 with closing costs and so forth. They were able to turn a very poorly maintained property for over $94,000 and your people portrayed to us that this was the absolute best that we could do. Again, we feel like we have been played and the big corporations Sundae and the rich investor walks away with a wad full of cash and we get the bare minimum & that your people betrayed us. They repeatedly inferred that this was the best that we could do. Really? Is this how you people make money? You go to people like us who have lost a loved one and have an older property that’s in need of repairs and you portray the market as such so we will accept the offer and this is the best we can do?? You people need to make us whole. How exactly? I don’t know. If we don’t hear from a senior manager (not the local people we worked with) at Sundae Corporation with an explanation of what really happened during this transaction, we will go to the state of California real estate regulatory folks and find out what our options are in terms of getting to the truth and what actually occurred during this transaction. Again, let me reiterate do not have anybody from the local sales or management team contact us. We want to speak to somebody who is a senior at your company who can explain to us exactly what happened and why. I will be out of town for the next 2 to 3 weeks but we would expect to hear from you by the third week in November, please.

Sundae did a great job, I got plenty of bids, and sold for quite a bit more than some other real estate guys said to expect. The process was painless and quick. They paid off my mortgage and deposited the rest in my bank account.

Great experience from start to finish. Everything went down as described. The filming done in one day, offers in within 4 days , acceptance of a very good offer on the 5th day and close of escrow within a month. Couldn't have gone smoother. From Josh through the office and on to escrow everyone did their job in a very friendly, expedient business like manner . I would highly recommend Sundae!

All was well until I questioned our agent, Justin, regarding choosing a title company as the verbiage in the original agreement allowed the seller that option. After choosing a title company that was proven to be reputable, I relayed this to Justin and was told that no, in fact sundae went with X company and that's who was chosen. I asked why as this was not the wording used in the original document and according to Sundae, the seller was able to choose. I was meet with "why was I so worried about it", "did you plan this before hand" and after actually sending him the highlighted portion of the agreement, was told "this is just who we use, we know them well, we work with them a lot", I was told exactly " I can just tell them to call the whole thing off". I felt as though I was then obligated to go with the title company of Sundaes choosing as not to 'rock the boat'. It just rubbed me the wrong way and despite the wording used in the original agreement, I felt bullied by Justin in that instance. Other than that, everything went smoothly.
