“The staff in the Dawson Street branch are so friendly and professional. Bought a pair of Raybans online during lockdown with Jodie, live chat made it so easy regarding sizes. When l called into the branch, Robbie helped me get Polaroid glasses AND yellow tinted glasses for night time glare when driving. Exactly what I've been looking for. He even gave a bowl of water for my dog l had with me! 5 stars!!! Thanks Robbie and Jodie. 😁”

“Ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses online after checking their returns policy. This says that there are “no hidden T&Cs” and offer a full refund if you aren’t happy. Turns out this isn’t the case and there are hidden terms - these are apparently available to click on at checkout. Tried web form for returns - no response. Tried email, told to send back to shop or drop in. Tried to drop in, but shop wouldn’t accept them. More emails and then a call from Owner. Eventually offered a refund of c. 1/3 of the price upon return of frames. Very frustrating experience with whole ordeal. I see owner threatens legal action on another negative review - hope I don’t get same! He’d be better employed having lawyers check working on returns policy. Other online stores do offer full refund on prescription sunglasses.”

Hi John, Thank you for your review. I'm terribly sorry you feel this way but as I pointed out in our phone conversation we have complied with the terms and conditions of our business. You agreed to these terms and conditions prior to paying for your custom prescription order. This is made perfectly clear on our website at checkout. There is nothing hidden in our companies policies and we always maintain to be transparent with our customers. Your lenses were ordered specifically through Oakley and had there been a problem with the prescription we would absolutely rectify this for you. Unfortunately, the fact that the frame doesn’t suit you, is not our fault. I have, as a gesture of goodwill, offered you a refund on the frame but we cannot return your lenses to Oakley as they were custom made for you. Our reputation as a business is something we have worked hard for since 2007 and we have always endeavoured to give our customers satisfaction. Unfortunately, I feel satisfaction, in this case, is not possible. Kind Regards Robbie

“I left my Oakley Juliet sunglasses in to have the the loose nose bridge looked at. 24 hours later Robbie had them repaired and back to me in pristine condition. Couldn’t recommend sunglasses.ie & Robbie enough 👌”

“Excellent customer service and excellent products. I first purchased replacement lenses for Bose sunglasses. The advice I received was excellent. Their expert knowledge, lens option and customer service was by far the best service I have received when purchasing glasses or sunglasses. My glasses arrived, and they are excellent. The added reassurance of their physical store on Dawson Street Dublin which has a great selection of sunglasses gave me the comfort that they are a very well established, professional company. My new glasses came very fast. I highly recommend the sunglasses.ie for the price, customer service and expert knowledge.”

“Really efficient service. Most helpful staff. Great to know that a repair service for sunglasses exists and is so easily accessible and reasonably priced. Don’t bin your damaged sunglasses until you’ve visited sunglasses.ie. You will be pleasantly surprised.”
