“One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, period! Nothing but a bunch of liars, worst customer service. I have experienced in quite some time. Do not make the same mistake. I did by signing a contract with this untrustworthy company.”

“The fence was built well except for two spots which I documented. The quote was fine and the employees were helpful. The onsite workers were very professional and they did a fine job (except those two spots on the fence, which I accepted) But, before I accepted the quote, I added 10 feet of fencing to get a bit further out from the original quote. On the day of the installation, the workers remeasured and the back section where the fence was increased by 10 feet was off by 19 feet. Then a section of the house with a step hill required the workers to divert the fence a bit more adding about 7 feet. The other side of the house was off by 2 feet - totaling 28 feet. I was given a change order that included the material cost (which is fine) but also had an extra $250 fee for the change order. This was not a change order - this was meeting the agreed upon layout and I even went as far as preemptively adding 10 feet to the project agreement. I sent an email and called. I spoke with the office, but after getting the run around - I just bit my tongue and hung up. I would not use Superior Fence again and would not recommend them to friends or family. This was just not a good way of doing business. I fed the employees, accepted two mistakes, and I get hit with an extra $250. I learned it doesn't pay to be nice sometimes and Superior Fence will nickel and dime you at the end when everything is done and you have no other recourse.”

“Stay away!!! They subcontracted the work and had to come out and fix several sections that was done poorly. Their own employees apologized at what a bad job. Except when they repaired it…. More problems started from the improper hung repair to putting in a gate post without concrete. Their response after numerous repair requests is well if you pay for it we will fix it.”

“I do NOT recommend this company. They do not stand behind their work. If they do a poor job and u have issues, they will require you pay more before they will “ make sure the job is done correctly” ( that’s a statement from a manager) . Spend your hard earned money on a company with integrity.”

“The worst experiance. They originally told me they do not do the type of fence I wanted. Then called me back and said it was a mistake they did. Set an appointment at 9:00:AM. Then called and said 45 minutes late. Then said another 30 minutes. After 90 minutes late they said they could reschedule this afternoon. This is the service you can expect”

“They didn't do a good job building my fence in 2020. I noticed from the beginning my gates had to be lifted up in order to open them. I didn't really realize how bad of a job they did until Hurricane Ian forced me to have it repaired. I called Superior first. They said if they put up the fence they would not do a repair on it, they would only rebuild the entire fence, that made no sense to me. That is bad customer servie. I called someone who had a lot of experience building fences, he was shocked by the crappy job Superior Fence & rail did. He said the posts weren't even cemented all the way around them and the fence was uneven. Once he finished the job I noticed how much better it looked and now I can open the gates without having to push up on them. Don't hire this company, they don't do a good job.”

“I was hired by Superior Fence and Rail Polk Co. Went on a few leads with the owners son. Tuesday the last day I rode with him, I was told that he would send me the link for pricing and some houses to draw up and price. I called him on Wednesday and Thursday it went straight to voicemail mail. Texted and called the office. I never received a call back. You would think that just out of courtesy they would tell you that it wasn't going to work. Oh, that would be the professional thing to do. I called the owner with no response. If they treat potential employees like this what would they do with a fence.”

“The crew damaged my car witnessed by a security ring camera. The crew chose to park by the car despite a whole yard to park in for the work. The crew refused to give their contact information when ask before leaving the job site. The company refused to compensate for the damage or give the crew's information. The company's answer for the request for compensation was in my opinion not professional in language or tone. The damage was about $2000. I highly recommend you do not use this company.”

“My new gate does not work, no matter how many times i call i am either ignored or told that someone has to come from Jacksonville to repair it and they will not send anyone or respond to me. it does not open or close properly and the local people who installed the gate were not from Jacksonville. Terrible experience.”

“I signed a contract and paid a 50% deposit, yet now they won’t return my calls. They seemed nice and professional. They had done work in my neighborhood. The salesman said about 2 weeks for installation, the contract said 4, but now at 6 weeks out they won’t call back with an install date. I need to coordinate with neighbors! I need them to fulfill the contract and actually start the job!”

“The terrible messy job of installing my PVC fence cost me an extra 1000.00 dollars in landscaping repairs. The dirt from every post hole was left laying in the yard next to the fence. The workers rushed the whole time. Didn't start work till about 11,:00 am and quit around 4:30. Poor communicators. Lousy work and routinely gave false information. Don't use this company.”

“Paid our deposit 2 months ago, never to see Josh again. He kept promising for weeks to start the job, failing the show up. He has stopped responding to my calls, text messages and emails. This is the type of tradie that you see on some special news report, and hope you never get.”

“This company should not be in business. They first misquoted the job. Then when I agreed to the higher amount after waiting for months and months they just did not show up at the scheduled installation time. No phone call and no show! When they finally installed the fence there were nails protruding on the side where there should not have been nails. Very dangerous. Boards that were 5 1/2" at the top and had been cut to a 3" width at the bottom!!! Due to gaps the privacy fence is not private. Gates that won't latch!!! The final insult to injury is that they have been paid if full and are now threatening to lien my property for non payment. Please know the is the first review I have ever written. Just felt others should be warned! I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau.”

“It is now 4 hours after their scheduled arrival time and they still haven't arrived. I had to call the office twice to find out what was going on. Supposedly the crew had to finish another job. tried to reschedule but was told it would be nearly impossible because they are so booked up. i will not use the again in the future no matter how good a job they do.”

“They trespassed on my protest th and destroyed my plants. When o called them about it they said it want their fault it was the homeowner because the homeowner signed a contract. This company does not care about anyone. They are only out for themselves. Never apologized to me once just said it wa a the homeowners fault because they signed the contract and are responsible for damages to my property .”
