"The company accels in fence installation. Perfectly straight and well built. Highly recommended for fences.\r\n\r\nDriveway gates are another subject all together. Superior does NOT build their gates, they use a third-party fabricator that IMO, as an engineer, does not understand overhung loads. They say fences under 12' use 1\/8\" thick poles for support! This is wrong, maybe a 100 lb. 12' fence but NEVER a 350 lb. 10' fence. These fabricators have NO engineering sense what-so-ever.\r\n\r\nThey built the gate supports flimsy. The poles holding the 10' 350 lb. gates are made of 1\/8\" aluminum. A 40 MPH gust ripped the self-tapped screws out of the hinges. These poles should have been made out of 1\/4\" stainless and put in the ground a MIN of 3'. Instead, they put the poles a measly 2 ft. down and only used 6\" dia. of cement. A MIN of 12\" dia. cement should have been used. They said the wind was an \"act of God\" and would not warranty the damage. \r\n\r\nSo as an engineer that hand built my own house, I fixed what they should have done under warranty. I installed cross cable ties with turn buckles to hold the weight and eventually will add cement to the bases.\r\n\r\nSee attached pics. A new bolt and nut replaced the ripped-out the self-tap flimsy bolt.\r\nThe cross ties are made of 1\/4\" stainless. Do it right or don't do it.\r\nThat is my motto. I just wish more companies would use this motto instead of do it as fast and cheap as possible to make more profit."

"The fence was built well except for two spots which I documented. The quote was fine and the employees were helpful. The onsite workers were very professional and they did a fine job (except those two spots on the fence, which I accepted)\r\n\r\nBut, before I accepted the quote, I added 10 feet of fencing to get a bit further out from the original quote. On the day of the installation, the workers remeasured and the back section where the fence was increased by 10 feet was off by 19 feet. Then a section of the house with a step hill required the workers to divert the fence a bit more adding about 7 feet. The other side of the house was off by 2 feet - totaling 28 feet. I was given a change order that included the material cost (which is fine) but also had an extra $250 fee for the change order.\r\n\r\nThis was not a change order - this was meeting the agreed upon layout and I even went as far as preemptively adding 10 feet to the project agreement. I sent an email and called. I spoke with the office, but after getting the run around - I just bit my tongue and hung up.\r\n\r\nI would not use Superior Fence again and would not recommend them to friends or family. This was just not a good way of doing business. I fed the employees, accepted two mistakes, and I get hit with an extra $250. I learned it doesn't pay to be nice sometimes and Superior Fence will nickel and dime you at the end when everything is done and you have no other recourse."

"We cannot thank Cameron, Steven and Kyle enough. These guys did an amazing job installing our fence. Very hard working and professional men. The fence looks amazing and our dogs are now free to roam the backyard freely. Extremely satisfied customer. Thank you for a job well done!!!"
