I was ripped off a few hundred dollars before I realised this and they would not refund me.

You sign up as a teacher, spend over two hours completing your profile, then pay for the premium membership and request reviews from your students. However, Superprof doesn’t publish them, doesn’t reply to your emails, and doesn’t refund your money. Is this their idea of “premium”? Another rip-off.

The day I bought the premium I noticed all the negative reviews for this company and decided to email Superprof to claim a refund citing 14 day statutory rights to refund which most reputable businesses respect.

A disgraceful scam. Before anything happens, you have to green light a payment of €39 on the understanding you will find a tutor, and, presumably, this is a credit on the first lesson. The tutor I approached contacted me to say they weren't available and I imagined that was that. Only a few days later, €39 was taken from my card on a rolling contract! For what? I have had to ask for a refund but no word yet. AVOID!

Dishonest company, so many poor reviews of being ripped off, wish I had searched first. The website clearly states you will only be charged the $59 student pass fee if a tutor accepts your request, i checked my bank and got charged immediately and when i eventually got a reply from a tutor about 6 hours later they were unable to help anyway, asked for a refund but no luck. Avoid!!

Profitable is a phony brokerage, in my opinion; you will be charged three percent of the withdrawal amount if you don't trade with them after making a deposit! I searched far and wide for a solution before coming across Actinvst L I M I T E D * c0m. Their incredible personnel went above and beyond to help me get a refund.

Absolutely horrible company that didn't refund my money even though it was clear that a mistake had been made and even though I explained what happened they didn't care - and the guy Phil who wrote to me was so rude. I mean they are clearly relying on people not understanding their system to make money from!

Misleading conduct. They dont have enough tutors on their platform in Australia so they use a fraudulent filter that will show tutors based on your selection criteria which are false. Eg I wanted face to face within a 10km area and it always shows online and from a different state in Australia. Also they are making making it very difficult to get a refund when I raised these issues and deceptive practices on their platform.

In looking for a Chemistry tutor I was charged a fee, later the tutor denied giving service. Other tutors only available after months. I requested a refund after receiving no service and was denied. The reason: I used the site. This is fraud when you charge money for the offer of a service you do not provide.
