Dead or dying plants delivery time and time again ,requested order cancellation and money back , more dead or dying plants delivered NEVER AGAIN

Ordered cucumber and tomato grafted plants. All received in distressed condition one cucumber and one tomato beyond saving, other cucumber might make it. Sutton’s agreed to replace tomatoes but cucumbers no longer available so they have said they will refund. Not yet received. Replacement tomatoes arrived today, in worse condition than the originals. Absolutely disgusting service, will never use again.

I have had about 4or 5 delivery's about £70.00 spent and they should pay most of it back they are all so dry when taken out the box and broken plants I would never buy from them again I thought this company was professional grows but by what I have had the past months they are not so I would not use and we will see if customer services try to get hold of me order number 20977386 I wonder yi they never try and sort out the problems

I ordered a few packets of seeds on 26 May 2022, to be delivered to Greater London address. Still not received the items today (4 June 2022). Really shoddy customer service. Will not ordered from them again. I definitely wonˋt recommend Suttons!!

Very poor customer service. I had lodged my complaint on their page as requested by them as the plugs I had received were either dead on arrival or looked half dead but I haven't had either a refund or heard from them at all. They keep bombarding you with enticing emails to lure us but I wish I had read some of the reviews here before ordering from them! Extremely disappointed with their products and their after sales customer service. Buyers beware!!

Bought cucumber plants all of which were destroyed. They replaced but they were still poor. 1 survived out of the 4. I also received 2 sweet pepper plants both of which have died. Previous years the plants have been excellent, I do wonder what has happened to them. I am scheduled to receive more plants at the end of the month. I will wait to see what condition they are in and if they are as poor as this year, I will replace from local plants garden centres

Second time ordered from Sutton’s, both times the plants were already displaced in the box, had to repot it again and some of them didn’t survive. Very disappointed with the service and will not order from them again. Not worth the money!!!

I received 3 pot tomato plants today 20 th which were dead I want my money back Sutton's are ripping people of they shouldn't be allowed to trade so refund my money order number is s0007382851 disgrace

Placed an order on the 27th April. Order still not received 2 weeks later so phoned customer services and was told order dispatch delayed due to bank holiday??? Email sent yesterday as still unable to track order. Phoned customer services again today (as no reply received yet to email) only to be told order was cancelled on the 12th May due to supply problems. No email received and have checked junk mail too. Appalling communication and customer service, will not order with this company again.

First and last time I'll be using Suttons. Delivery promised for end of April, then changed to 9 May. Allegedly they were despatched on the 14 May but tracking shows they haven't yet moved. Appalling service.

Ordered 3 grafted tomatoes, received on time, but very weak and spindly, one has failed to show any growth whatsoever, now thrown away. Said after last years similar problems wouldn't order online from them again, but did. WILL NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AGAIN, will get from local garden centres ( 5 within 6 mile radius ) then I can see what I'm buying.

Ordered 12 foxglove plants at what was a special offer They were half the size of a thimble and ALL dead before they arrived. Had I paid full price would have taken legal advise however will NEVER buy from them again

Ordered asparagus crown for delivery in March. Was then told they would be mid April. Was then told in May that courier had tried to deliver twice but delivery was refused as not ordered. Absolute rubbish. Obviously delivered to wrong address. Have now asked for full refund as planting season now gone. Will not use Sutton Seeds again

recently i purchased an expensive 2.2m garden obelisk which was not 'fit for purpose'. the joints kept popping out after i had pushed them in and eventually i had to use black gaffa tape to secure them. after completion it was not stable so dispensed with the bottom 4 legs and secured the finished item to my trellis for the support of my passion flower. i could not be bothered with the hassle of returning the item. my previous cheaper metal obelisk from amazon was far better albeit this involved fixing screws which was time-consuming but made a great support for my clematis.

I wish I had read these reviews before I placed an order for plug plants. Took 9 days from despatch to arrive with me. Emailed Suttons 3 times over 5 days. Not a single reply. Tried ringing them repeatedly. No reply. The plants are dead or close to death. Appalling customer service. Would never do business with them again.

Pack of 72 plants delivered in poor condition over half of them dead. Not Suttons fault. Our postage service is abysmal. My posture had been on holiday and on his return no parcels for his area had been delivered for 2 weeks. I contacted Suttons to suggest they change their delivery service(as well as a serious complaint to Royal Mail), they were very apologetic and said they would send me a new batch when ready. Received these today. Fresh, healthy plants. Now that is customer service that is rare to find these days.

Been having Begonia Apricot Shades for years,thought I'd try Suttons this year,big mistake. Ordered these around Christmas time,so I wouldn't be back of the queue,but astounded when they arrived, tiny little grubby plants,that would have been an embarrassment even if they had have been free.No way will these plants flower before September (if at all)and then the season is nearly gone.Never,ever will I use this nursery again,total waste of money.
