Terrible company, customer service is non existent, duplicate order yet no response to cancelling duplicate despite emailing twice. Website is full of pop ups, delivery of £2.99 for a packet of 10 seeds is a rip off. Will not order from Suttons seeds again.

I'm in total disbelief and appalled at treatment / lack of respect by Customer Service Team, as they appeared to be trying to wriggle out of refunding money for items cancelled by them.

I ordered some plug plants that arrived dead. I contacted them with a photo, no reply. After a week I contacted again trough their website, it looks they may have sent me another order, but not clar, so I asked for explanation, no repl. After another week I tried to call them, but they only accept orders on the phone, there is no customer service. So I contacted them again for the 4rth time.

BOUGHT 3 LOTS OF GERANIUM PLUGS, 72 PER LOT, MIXED COLOUR ONES DELIVERED WERE FINE NAND GROWING WELL IN LIVING ROOM, THE OTHER 2 LOTS DELIVERED ALL RED COLOUR, SOME HAD NO LEAVES, SOME ALREADY DEAD, PUT IN BIGGER PLUGS TO GROW ON, HAD NEARLY 3 WEEKS,STILL ONLY 1 INCH HIGH, VERY WEEDY PLANTS, WILL NEVER GROW TO GO OUTSIDE, WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY, PHONED UP Suttons AND COMPLAINED MAN SAID SOMEONE WILL TELEPHONE ME RIGHT BACK THIS WAS LAST SATURDAY, STILL WAITING ON WEDNESDAY 1ST MAY 2024,THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE PLANTS, I HAVE ALWAYS DONE FLOER AND VEG GARDENING ALL MY LIFE , I AM NOT A NOVICE IN THIS SUBJECT AT ALL.

Very bad experiences x3 !
Ordered seeds : came late and very few.
Ordered 2 hanging baskets in may : contacted customers service (in vain , no response) / order came 10 days later BUT tiny quantities - no basket - flowers are still not blooming !
Ordered iris bulbs mid-may : still NOT delivered...

Ordered cucumber and tomato grafted plants. All received in distressed condition one cucumber and one tomato beyond saving, other cucumber might make it.
Sutton’s agreed to replace tomatoes but cucumbers no longer available so they have said they will refund. Not yet received.
Replacement tomatoes arrived today, in worse condition than the originals. Absolutely disgusting service, will never use again.

I ordered a few packets of seeds on 26 May 2022, to be delivered to Greater London address. Still not received the items today (4 June 2022). Really shoddy customer service. Will not ordered from them again. I definitely wonˋt recommend Suttons!!
