“The jury is out
I bought a swegway for my daughters birthday. As it's still a few days away I can't comment on the product other than to say a quick charge and test ride were successful.
I've been left a little disappointed by the buying experience. I visited the shop twice and the staff were helpful and spent time talking to me about the product. Good start, but the actual purchase left me with a bad feeling.
The company promote themselves on the quality of the product, and in particular the safety and certification of the chargers they supply. I was therefore very disappointed when the charger that came out of the box was a non-certified unit. When I questioned this the salesperson attempted to locate the CE and FCC markings on the charger. When I pointed out there was none, she said they must be on the plug.
I felt like I was being fobbed off, and was not prepared to accept this charging unit. It was only then that a different charger was produced from the back room complete with the necessary CE and FCC markings.”
“You sell them but you don't receive them. Try and get intouch with them and all they say its under investigation. They will not send another or give money back.”
“I had an issue with the delivery. It took 5 consecutive days for it to be delivered and resulted in having to miss 5 days of work. They took it back to delivery centre each night as they obviously didn't have time to deliver it that day and then said it would be delivered the following day.Not swegway fault but with ups service whom they use. Made it a slightly dissapointing experience.”
“My first email was ignored for months about my broken charger that fell apart in a matter of weeks then when I gave up waiting I paid for a new charger and it was never despatched! Had to email again and wait over another week! No apology or any acknowledgment of problem! Very very poor disappointing service!”
“I have had several emails containing screenshots and recepts etc to Ryan C and telephone conversations with regard the model I was sent which is not the one advertised. I ordered a green swegway with supporting strips. I got sent a green swegway without optional supporting strips. It clearly states that all classic swegways come with optional supporting strips. I am annoyed that my last email I sent on the 2 November was not replied to until the 8th November ( 6 days). Could ypou please look into this case . Order number #7950.”

It is probably wise not to request a review when the customer has not received the product!”
“I had to wait nearly 4 weeks to receive both my items and in that time I had several emails teling me my items had been dispatched which they clearly hadn't or that I had already received them. I would not recommend you to anyone.”
“The swegway we ordered seems fine but came with no instructions and we have never had one before so not sure what the beeping is or what the red light means so finding it pretty hard to get hand of. Asked if any guideance online on their website contact page but no response received.”
“Dreadful communication.... Dreadful customer service.... Would not shop with them again... I received a email to say item had been sent and tracking ref. Over a week later and loads of emails to them I find out it hadn't been sent at all. Rang and spoke to a very rude, person, who basically didn't give a dam... It was quite strange that when I rang again to complain and cancel my order the Segway arrived the very next day.”
“I am sending another e-mail as your appalling level of customer service continues, since I rejected your offer of compensation and elected to go through the formal complaints process I have received no correspondence from you what so ever.
I am grossly dissatisfied with my whole experience purchasing items from your company, the lies I have been told, I have emails that prove this.
I am disgusted that you have not contacted me to try and resolve the issue of your company ruining my sons birthday by failing to deliver within the 5-7 days that was promised, my order took a month to arrive and as such my son went without his present on his birthday.”
