Paid for a policy which cost me about £60. Had the policy for approx 2 months as sold bike. I expected to get at least £40 back or more. I ended up having to pay £15. So my £60 yearly policy cost me £75 for 2 months.!

I asked to add another driver to be added and they come back with a very large premium and decided not to add.

Poor communications between insurance companies ,had to provide no claims bonus again although provided they say never received was charged extra because they say were late

I went into my local swinton office and it was good to talk with the staff members who gave me a good idea of what policy were available and I am pleased with the service that I received.

I changed my car rang them to change my policy the amount was nowhere near anyone else so cancelled the policy and they charged me £50 I will never use Swinton again

They are rubish and cancelled my polacy without telling me and it was for no reason when i spoke to them they was wanting to restart it but expected me to pay a fee of 90 for closing the other policy .

Not to much to say really,it was all explained to me very well by Debbie in the office in Andover,in the end I had breakdown cover as well,this is the first I have used the Company so I do not have much to add,we will see how the first year goes.

It's been a nightmare and I would never use them again - the whole experience of using a hire car after an accident was awful, they charged me for petrol when I returned the car with a full tank (still no refund) and they provided a whole host of ambulance chasing firms with details of my wife's accident - I have been plagued with calls to my mobile ever since - even now 9 months later. They were cheap - but you get what you pay for. Will never ever use them again.

Not much to say really - for all the right reasons. Very easy to get the policy sorted out. Swinton customer service is the best I've experienced in 12 years of driving. Incredibly friendly, very very helpful, and most of all, VERY easy to get through to. No silly switchboards, irritating sales people with no clue about your personal account details/situation etc. Any issues or queries were painless to deal with I only hope that when it comes to buying my next car, Swinton offer me the most competitive quote, because if the price is right, I really don't want to leave. In my opinion, Swinton set the bar for how customers should be a) treated and b) the ease at which they can speak to someone who will help them. I can only hope that everyone else experiences similarly positive treatment.

tried to change to another car you wanted 50.00 to do so.disgraceful. so i cancelled and got it 65.00 cheaper
