The whole experience was terrible and I was left feeling that it had all been my fault and their customer services team where uneducated at best and dam right rude. Never again, moved all my insurance to different provider.”

“Swinton cancelled the policy unilaterally and did not inform me by email despite email initial confirmation. ,They then charged me half the insurance for one year for one month that the car was insured. Avoid”

“My car broke down and had to be scrapped. I got a different one but swinton wanted more than £150 more than I had been quoted from another company. They then had the audacity to charge me nearly £70 to cancel my contract and go with the cheaper provider.
Will never use them again, what a joke this firm is......................................”

“For PRICE, they were shown as the cheapest. For CUSTOMER SERVICE they are an appalling comedy act that needs some award. Total garbage. Unprofessional, immature, no empowered actions at all (we'll have to check; I'll just ask; that's what it says; I'll see my manager). Never EVER received an acknowledgement to emails, just a posted letter around TEN DAYS after raising a query (so was uninsured? we'll never know). BIKERS- if they can run race teams and spemd millions on nice offices and staff perks, your claim may be a little down their list of priorities - only guessing).”
“I wrote to them twice. Got no reply. Went on site had quote. We contacted them direct but ended up paying more than quoted. We were told we would get £50 for changing but then told because we actually spoke to them and had to pay a different price we did not qualify. We will not be doing this again”
“Customer service was rubbish. The policy was easy to sign up to but Swinton make it almost impossible to leave then once the documents are signed. There are a lot of hidden clause in the fine print so please read carefully before buying the policy.
When I sold my car and tried to cancel the policy was told I needed to pay all the cost of the insurance even if I don't have the car. Swinton refused to give me my no claims bonus so I was forced to continue the policy with them. They don't explain things clearly and I would not recommend them.”

“i brought a different car swinton do not insure 2 cars.so took up insurance with another company.i then sold my car and cancelled insurance with swinton.had payed the year up front.the insurance lasted 5months i got nothing back and they actually said i owe them 94pence.i will never take insurance out with them again.”
