My experience with Switcher has been very good and would have even better if I didn’t opt for ‘Eir’ as their offer wasn’t as good as it had initially appeared. Despite their statement that one had a cooling off period of 14 days and my cancelling of order with them they failed to pass on my landline to Virgin Media that I had selected in preference to them and this meant using only a the temporary landline number that Virgin Media had given to me. It’s exactly one week today that have the Virgin Media Modem installed and working but am still waiting for the transfer of my landline form ‘Eir’ to Virgin Media. If this didn’t happen I think a straightforward switching from Sky to Virgin Media would have been quite painless.

The process was relatively painless. The website was very good. However, the installation Engineer didn't ring half hour before he arrived like he was supposed to. He arrived at 9.05 am, I had just arrived at work and had to turn around and go back to meet him. Pretty annoying

Switcher never cancelled my former plan with my previous broadband provider. I got billed twice. Your website clearly states "We'll take care of the rest" and if I recall correctly, you mention this in your forms too. You did it for me in 2015; that's why I used your service again. What happened this time? Highly dissatisfied.

Ease of use and fairly seamless. The only minor negative was that the new provider didn't know we were on a Wimax system. This could easily have be flagged when we provided the name of our existing provider (Imagine). Wimax is a wireless system so we had no connection point in our house for the new (Virgin Media). Luckily Virgin Media came by to check our connection and arranged for a point to be installed at no extra cost.
