So I sent them a pair of Oakleys that had gotten damaged and they did a perfect job on those too. They are very easy to work with since they send you mailing labels, and even a box if you want it. “Found Tajima Direct online reading reviews. I figured I would save myself the aggravation of replacing lenses myself, and sent them a pair of Rx wayfarers that just weren’t working out. Had some B-15 replacement lenses installed in the frames and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Once they received my frames, the inspection and install of new lenses took very little time, before they were shipped back to me. Tajima Direct lens replacement is such a good value that i will be sending in pair of Rayban Predator 2 frames to get the scratched lenses replaced. I just have to decide which color lenses I want???

“Good quality! Lenses is kind of heavy but I got prescription lenses. I like the amber transition lenses. Got compliments when the lenses transition in the sun. It doesn’t really transition inside the car but great in direct sun. It kind of transition in the shade. The lenses is clear and then transition to more of a golden yellow/light brown color and does not get as dark as my normal brown sunglasses but I like the amber lenses.”

Regarding the weight, your lenses needed to be thicker to accommodate your strong prescription. It's not anything we could adjust beyond that, it's simply the physics of how your strong prescription combines with your selected Maui Jim frame. Regarding not darkening in the car, that is expected (and listed on our Transitions pages) with Gen S technology, since windshields block the UV that activates the lenses — Transitions XTRActive is the version that darkens behind the wheel, whenever you'd like that option.
“Very happy with my 2nd pair of Tajima progressive lenses. I had found a pair MJ frames at a department store that I had to have and my first option was go through Tajima. Crystal clear and no distortion (unlike my first pair). While the tint from my side is brownish, it's easy to adjust to after a few minutes. Highly recommend these aftermarket RX lenses.”
