It was time to update my lenses with my latest prescription this month, and as expected, Tajima Direct delivered as usual. I had a total of 4 pairs; a) Maui Jim Red Sands, b) Burberry Readers with Blue Light protection, c) Silhouette frame with progressive lenses with polarized transition (darkest option), and d) another Silhouette frame with lenses the same as C, but customized. We made the lenses taller. This is my favorite pair. All are GREAT, I can see clearly in all of them. A big thank you to Jacob, Juan, and Team for always providing the best products and service!”

“While a great option for Maui Jim discontinued lens, the lens themselves, being a direct type replacement are not on the same level as the original if this is what you are expecting. Polarization along with lens material type being the difference. That said, if you like your frames as I do, this option is what is available and I appreciate the turn around time and the communications on the process.”

“I have had two sets of lenses made for two seperate frames. In both cases Tajiam was incredable. Communication was great. The main thing is both sets on lenses were jjust crystal clear and very light. Another bonus was the frames,t hey were is good shape when I sent them in but when they came back they wer like new.”

“I was replacing the lens in my much loved Maui Jim Aloha Fridays. The lens that were being replaced were the fantastic HCL Bronze lens from Maui Jim. Their low light and overcast to Florida monsoon performance is unmatched. Based on other replacement lens compainies, I was not hopeful. But the Tajima lenses surpased my expectations. While not 100% of the HCL, the Tagimas performance admirable, particuallry in the low light situations.”

“Exceeds expectations: I was dubious of the great reviews but there were enough of them to convince me to move forward. I have have a prism component to my progressives I was concerned could be made but was assured through excellent communication that was not an issue. So I sent in my Costa Fantail 380P's hoping the Tajima lenses would be superior or at least as good. They in fact are superior and are what I'd expect from 380 glass lenses. Customer Service is outstanding with excellent communication. I did look at a few competitors but none of them seemed to have the technology to produce this kind of quality.”
