All lenses are thoroughly cleaned and closely inspected before shipping, and our process does not involve any glue or contact with the nose pads; what you're seeing on the nose pads is likely a common issue we see with Maui Jim frames where the rubber deteriorates and becomes gooey over time.

I find the lenses to be light-weight with effective UV protection. “Quality of the lenses is off the charts. They are more substantial and clean easier than the original Maui Jim lenses and I wouldn't have guessed that possible. Full prescription bifocal grind and clear as crystal. My indoor wire rim glasses are 100 year old antiques with rectangular drilled lenses and Tajima got them perfectly.
Next up a pair of prescription safety glasses.
They're not cheap but who wants cheap lenses that you have to replace frequently and distort so badly that you get a headache? Not me. Worth every penny.

“Silly me, I paid and received my shipping slip then forgot all about it..... A couple of months later I received an email from Yakima that they had not received my sunglasses to replace the lenses. They sent me a new slip and I got them in the mail and got them back very quick. Great company and service.”
