“I'm very happy with Jacob and Tajima. I have a pair of good acetate frames from Cutler and Gross that I bought a few years ago with the intention of replacing the lenses as needed. None of my local San Diego optics houses would do it (afraid of breaking the frames). Tajima is not a discount house but they use very good lenses and they don't clutch their pearls because of acetate frames. They did exactly what I asked for and I am very happy with the results.”

“Fast service. Excellent communication. Great product. Fair price. It is not easy to find a local or online source for replacement rx sunglasses lenses that provides (1) a high-quality digital progressive lens; (2) polarization; and (3) Trivex or similar lightweight ultra-clear material. If you want the lenses in G15 instead of gray or brown your choices diminish even further. If you want them for under $500 they diminish further still. And if you want the lenses in copper/rose you're out of luck completely except for Tajima as far as I can tell. Completely satisfied and would highly recommend. Thanks!”

“The service and communication was exceptional! The replacement lenses, though, have a little distortion when looking thru them. I have an identical pair of Maui Jim glasses with the same color lens, and vision is perfect. I'll just keep them as a backup pair. Tried getting used to them by wearing them for a week, but I can't. Sorry I can't give a better review, as I've never given a bad one before.”

As for the lenses having distortion, that's very odd as our lenses feature no distortion as proven through our material's optical lab testing. “My wife is extremely happy with the new lenses. You have brought life back to a pair of expensive Gucci sunglasses we purchased while in Italy for our 35th wedding anniversary......ten years ago. She hadn't been able to use them for the last 5 or 6 years due to her distance vision changes. We were told by several opticians and optical shops that they could not make prescription lenses for her sunglasses due to the curvature of the frames.
