“I used Tajima to provide progressive clear lenses for a new frame I'd bought, and the experience was superlative in every way. The customer service was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The ordering process is simple, straightforward, and honest. They use the best lens material, Trivex, and include as a matter of course the coatings that are, frankly, required to make a high-quality and durable lens; all at a single inclusive price that is reasonable and fair. This is in happy contrast to the bloated prices and irritating up-selling of coatings as options that is the common practice in the industry, and that leaves a sour taste in the mouth and a flatter wallet in the pocket.
I was a bit uneasy ordering progressive lenses online, but the glazing is in every way as accurate as any I've been measured for in person, and the optical clarity and lightness of the Trivex is a pleasure. “I have a number of discontinued Oakley sunglasses and since Oakley refuses to support the products that they discontinued (something that was not the case before being sold to Luxottica) Tajima quality lenses saved 3 pairs of sunglasses from being discarded. I have a couple more to have new lenses put in.
The lenses themselves are also superior to the original lenses and i will no longer buy new i will have Tajima Direct take care of all my sunglass lens needs.”

“I have been wearing Maui Jim’s for the last 20 years primarily because I like the lenses. I had two pair that had scratched lenses. I sent one to Tajima and the other pair I sent to Maui Jim’s because the frame was also broken. Got both back about the same time. The big difference I found is in the optical quality. I thought MJ’s optics were great, until I tried Tajima’s. Tajima’s clarity is simply amazing! besides the sunglass feature, things actually look sharper with them on.”

“Got the lenses quickly and had them installed a few minutes after opening the box. They are a perfect fit for my Maui Jim stingray shades. I followed instructions online and the lenses snapped right in. Great lenses at a great price! If I had one complaint, and it's a tiny one, the lenses are a little dark for me. I got the brown lenses with the gold mirror finish. Maybe without the mirror they would be not as dark? Anyway, you will not be disappointed with these lenses.”

“This is my fourth frame with Tajima prescription sunglass lenses. I had been extremely happy with my three other frames with Tajima lenses but wanted something more specific for my beach sports activities (mainly beach tennis). I had a pair of Kaenon X-Kores and reached out to Jacob to see what could be done. He suggested a process called Digital Edge Thinning to make the lenses work better for the curvature needed for the X-Kore frame. The extra charge was minimal and I'm happy to say the results were nothing short of Tajima's standards that I experienced with my other three frames!”
