“Amazing service! Amazing lenses!
My wife and I needed new glasses before departing to the BVI for a 10 day charter. Of course, our decision to replace our sunglasses was last minute. My wife's needs were particularly challenging - she wanted progressive lens in an extreme wrap frame. Jacob and Steve wrote us multiple times answering our questions and giving us questions to ask our optometrist, sent us multiple frames for my wife to consider to assure that she got the correct size, and delivered the finished product on an expedited schedule to get us the glasses before we departed. They spent an enormous amount of time for a 2 lens order - I can't imagine another company doing this.
As for the lenses - great!!!!
All of my future lens needs will be met by Tajima, and I tell all of my friends to buy from them.”

I received my sunglasses from you with the new lenses installed. The lenses are beautiful to look at and even more beautiful to look through. They are very high quality and the craftsmanship is perfect. The lenses seem to be a little thicker than the original lenses(which is a good thing), and I would say the optical quality and clairity is even better than the MJ lenses. And of course, customer service throughout the whole process was top notch. For anyone contemplating getting new lenses from Tajima Direct (I say just do it), you will not be disappointed. These new lenses replaced the original Maui Jim (Sandy Beach) lenses that were damaged and I could not be happier. Thank you very much,

“I am a huge fan of the Maui Jim Honolua Bay frames - they are a truly unique hingeless and rimless design. Maui Jim discontinued the model several years ago and they no longer make replacement prescription lenses for them since no spare parts are available. Enter Tajima, I found their website searching for companies that make custom lenses for glasses. -- I was skeptical at first but I decided to take a chance. I opted for the Blue Mirror Polarized lens which is something Maui Jim doesn't have as an option for Rx lenses.
When I received my sunglasses back, I was in awe. They were beautiful! I'm extremely happy with the quality and the finish of the lens. I am ecstatic to know that I will get several more years out of my favorite pair of sunglasses and know that if I need new lenses, Tajima is there.”

“I absolutely love my new pair Tajima Direct sunglasses! I took a chance and decided to trust Tajima with turning my Maui Jims into prescription sunglasses! So happy I did. My sunnies are perfect. After the Lahaina fire destroyed the Mai Jim store with all equipment, it took me a little while to find Tajima Direct. They are the greatest, very helpful beginning to end.
