I am a old customer withh talktalk for more than 10 years, when my contract ended on the bigining of june, I left them for the poor internet speed I had. But after that, they started to ripping off and charging me for the two next month after the termination of my contract ( July, August ). I spok to them many times they promise me for refund, but they didin't.

Worst customer service ever I have an issue with my Talk Talk Box as it doesn’t record some programmes and the person who was dealing with me said I need to call them when it’s happening!! How do you do this at 2am in the morning or whilst at work ???

So I'm moving into a new house on the 21st of September. I went with TalkTalk WIFI as it looked like a good deal and was cheap for the amount of mps you get. When ordering I added that I was moving into my new address on the 21st and gave my current address for delivery of router. I called the next day just to confirm this. Firstly I was told 3 different things but 3 different people. The first person I spoke to had no idea at all...I was told that they can not deliver the router to a different address than the one I wanted the WIFI installed at. I asked when it would be delivered as no one would be there until the 21st and asked if I could pay for a certain delivery day, his response was it will be delivered at some point and proceeded to end the call. The 2nd person I spoke to was via text who (without any account information) said it had been dispatched already and there was nothing they could do. They then said that they would post a slip and we could take it to the Post Office to pick up - even though I had said 1 text ago that NO ONE WAS IN THE HOUSE!!!! So, I called in again. The last person I spoke to said it would be delivered a day before the engineer was due to come out. I had one booked for Monday (23rd) so they said it would be delivered on Friday - apparently you can't get items delivered on weekends. I asked to change this to Tuesday so it could be deliver on Monday, when someone would be in. Her response was; no we can not change it you picked the slot and ended the call. The only positive experience was when I called to cancel - they didn't questions it and I assume that's because they realise how rubbish and useless they are! Once they said they had cancelled it I asked for email confirmation to which I was told they can not send emails and will send a letter to the address where WIFI was to be installed. Again I said no one was there and I would like an email confirming it is cancelled but they are not aloud to send emails. I cancelled it in Virgin who put me together a package, booked the engineer in for the day we move (which TalkTalk only offer on weekdays), gave me a great price and got everything sorted in under 20 minutes. If you are thinking about going with them because of the price, like I did, just remember you get what you pay of and I wouldn't pay £1 for them.

customer service a nightmare I was on the phone with them for nearly 2 hours getting put on hold 3 times and then when I finally got speaking to the so called manager he kept saying I am looking through your notes after 5 minutes of looking through my notes he then said again I will look through your notes and when I asked him a question he yawned down the phone I was completely shocked and asked to be put through to the complaints department and he said I am the complaints department. OMG I ended up taking the most painful headache I have ever had and just put the phone down. This company is a joke and not a funny one neither.

speeds are a scam!! Frustrating customer service Terrible customer service I was emailed in July saying I wasn’t getting speeds I payed for. After two engineers vists they couldn’t resolve problem customer service tried have you switched it on and off again? Shall we send another engineer? Each call taking at least 40mins of my life to get no where. I leave yesterday to go to BT miraculously they fixed the issue (very suspicious are they limiting customers speeds even though they pay extra for fibre?) after I confirmed I was leaving the speed dropped off again so it’s quite clear where the issue lay and the 2 engineers vists where a waste of time I was a loyal customer for 5 years I would never use these scam artists again as it’s clear they limit the speeds also I was not offered compensation despite paying for service not received

over 2 10 day periods I received on my superfast broadband less than 5mbps instead of the 20 to 35 mbps as promised both times talktalk admitted liability but were reluctant to compensate first time I received £38 and for the same thing the second time £3 !!!! intermittent loss of service is a regular thing and trying to get sense from their asian call center is a waste of time

Talk talk are the worse company to date. They lie, and the customer service is shocking. For weeks, day after day I had to call them and no one understood England, I was put through to 5 different people each time, I was on my phone for hours up to 3 hours a night trying to get information, internet to work. They toke my money for 4 months and I never had internet. They sent out 5 engineers, two never turned up, I toke time off work for this, the others couldn’t get talk talk to understand what they where doing wrong. They charged me so much money for nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves, customer service are rude and don’t speak much English. Don’t trust them

TALKTALK I'd suggest anyone who wants broadband and a decent service to stay away you will get nothing but brickwalls in your way, I am still fighting with talktalk for compensation which for those who don't know majority of broadband services offered these company have signed up for a AUTOMATIC COMPENSATION SCHEME which means if you are receiving less or no broadband speed that you sifned up for your entitled to £8per day, TALKTALK won't tell you this, you ask TALKTALK for compensation they change the conversation, TALKTALK advisors are overseas and this is just another hurdle trying to get information, with regards to INFORMATION you will get told one thing and then ve told another from someobe else. All in all I've now had to request a DEADLOCK LETTER, MY COMPLAINT TO BE FORWARDED TO THE CEO, I also need to wait 4 more weeks to open a complaint to a independent company cifas or someone like this as I DINT TRUST TALKTALK, and feel its the only way to get closure, BEWARE STAY AWAY, it's still on going as I write this, the complaint was opened 24/7/2019, problem still not rectified, I am drained, I have No energy now and this is probably there tactics, I've also found out you can ask or request to speak a ENGLISH ADVISOR, IN ENGLAND and I suggest do it, but first things first just DONT SIGN UP, SIMPLE you only get what you pay for.

Called so many times about slow internet, most of the times as low as 500kbs... the staff are so rude, sell you empty promises and treat you like pure pure dirt. We have asked to leave after months of calling them.now they say we have to pay a penalty few... apparently we have only called once... clearly someone is not doing their job. They were so rude to my wife and they treat you like some peice of pure filth. No common sense at all. This is below 3rd world customer service. Absolutely horrible. My advice, stay away... as far as you can. This company needs to dissapear.

waited 6 weeks for re-connection after moving . Told 4 times they have a problem with connection, then told that they could not find my account ,even though I had been with them for over 10 years!! .Then to top it all off they told me that I hadn't paid my bill,as they couldn't access my bank account ? Really when you say you have lost my account ? Called over 12 times trying to resolve and in the end , told them I no longer wanted to be with them and closed my direct debit down Good firms can go bad , especially when they are in the wrong Used all three methods to contact them

Miss sold me a product no connection . Didnt resolve my complaints . I refuse to pay the whole bill due to the peoblems i have had offered to pay half but they stil wont waiver this . Customer service ?? What customer service . Do not go with them . Its a joke

Customer service/ satisfaction totally nonexistent. Staff incompetence (lost online payments, money sent to wrong account, days to track it down) No agent accountability. Take my advice as someone who has been with these clowns for many years that they do not place any importance on how long you have been with them. They do not care if the service they provide is not coming up to standard just as long as they get your money every month. Without a shadow of a doubt this is THE worst customer service I’ve ever come across. STAY WELL AWAY!

Horrible company. Very rude call centre staff that just want to talk over you all the time. Not interested in what the customer wants, just as long as they've secured another contract. It will be my last time!.

Absolute scammers. I attempted to cancel my contract at the end of my term and have since been passed around for 6 weeks with intentionally misleading, lengthy phone calls and online chats with clueless and at times incredibly rude staff. Not only did I cancel my contract in advance, in early JUNE, I will now continue to pay for a property I no longer occupy until the end of AUGUST. Please dont waste your time and energy on this bunch of money-grabbing soulless idiots.
