About Tea Life:

Hello! My name's Toby and while I've always been a tea lover, I never really thought about the benefits and healing powers of herbal tea before a certain time in my life where I was going through some stress and anxiety.
This is a short story about my tea life.

I came across Valerian root tea and noticed one of the benefits listed was 'helping stress and anxiety' so I thought why not? It actually did help, and became my first go to solution for when I was feeling stressed.

Since then I have had to go back to that single shop to order it, as it's difficult to find. Sometimes it was sold out, sometimes I was too busy to make the trip, but overall I was just thinking 'why isn't this awesome drink more readily available'?

So I decided to do something about that. I researched the benefits of other herbal tea, as I was curious to see what else was out there and was astonished to learn just how useful and powerful they are. Over time, I realised they really are natures medicine.

This website has been designed to educate, and provide easy access across Australia to a huge range of Organic Herbal tea, free of pesticides and other impurities.

Apart from herbal tea, I have also stocked the best chai, exotic, and other health related blends I could find within Australia. If it's fresh, interesting and tastes great - I'll get it in.

“This is the first time that I have purchased anything from Tea Life. They have a great selection of teas. Ordering was easy and delivery was very prompt. I have already tried the Cacao Chocolate Husk Tea and it is divine - just like drinking a piece of chocolate without all the guilt!! I am sure I will be ordering teas from Tea Life again and again.”

Hi Karen, Thank you! That one actually used to be quite expensive but we've been able to lower the price down to the level of our other teas and it's grown even more popular ever since.

Hi Phyllus, thank you for your review - the teapots etc were a trial actually. We wanted to get something unique/stylish/functional in that isn't too easy to find elsewhere. They've done well so we'll be keeping them up at Tea Life for now and have already done our 2nd order! We'll also add new ones too when we find ones that we think are worthy additions that offer something that we don't already have.

“The tea is delicious, the range is large and interesting, the packaging convenient and keeps the tea fresh and they have many high quality accessories which make drinking loose leaf a breeze. When a double walled glass teacup I ordered arrived chipped they sent me a new one straight away, great customer service!”

“Parcel delivered 3/2/20. More than 2 weeks after ordered. I was not rung to see if I was home to take delivery, which I was, but he did not bother to drive up the driveway to the house. Just went to the shack at the bottom. The driver didn't even leave the package. Why don't you use Australia Post? Much more efficient, this has now become a hassle. NOT happy”

Hi Deborah, sorry for the experience you had with Sendle. We do use Australia Post also - and just default to the cheapest option for us depending on customer location. If you make any other orders with us, please specify 'use Australia Post' in the 'additional instructions for seller' notes on the cart page.

Hi Barbara, thanks for your review! The glass jugs have been pretty popular and are sold out now. We're already into our second restock with more expected in a couple of months. We did manage the busy time in 2019 pretty well I think, but if it were that busy in 2018 we wouldn't have been prepared!
