“I ordered the iPad mini on 15th August without reading these reviews. I received all the correct emails from Tecobuy. However, on checking the delivery status using the Tracking Number supplied on the emails, panic set in. DHL and Royal Mail both stated that delivery had been made to an address 12 miles from me 6 days ago! This postcode turned out to be the ‘local’ Royal Mail Delivery Office. And they weren’t answering the telephone.
The twist came this afternoon. A neighbour knocked on my door with a parcel, addressed to me. He found it in his house upon returning from holiday today. He doesn’t know when it was delivered or by who, but assumed that his cat sitter had taken it in sometime during the week. Very odd, as we were at home all week...
All I know is that as I live in a village, the postman knows my name and where I live, so why was it delivered across the road if Royal Mail were the last to handle it? With no acknowledgement card advising of its whereabouts. I can only assume that DHL were actually the last hands.
Though today’s events have lifted a huge weight off my shoulders, as the order has finally been received. And by all accounts it should only have taken about 10 days, so pretty quick.
Also, like others, I am not happy that the parcel came from Hong Kong. A lot of cleaning was carried out of said parcel and packaging. At least an adaptor was provided too, as the charger is definitely for the Chinese market. Not happy about this.”
“Although the delivery was slow, 12 days from ordering, the camera arrived, as described and I am pleased with it. In addition to slow delivery, the only other issue is poor/lack of communication.”
