“Such cheap cheap products, I get better quality at the dollar store, worse part is waiting 2 weeks longer for a order that is still sitting a an airport, long past delivery date, once I get my order, im done with Temu, what a joke”
“I have been a customer of Temu pretty much since its inception.
Recently I noted postage costs added- when they claim free shipping.
Prices have crept up to a level that other online shopping sites are cheaper and provide far better quality.
Items I have ordered frequently do not match images or descriptions. Sizes are wrong and some items delivered are clearly seconds or worse.
Coupons offered when using your phone to place the order do not work-if they do items are left in you basket and not fulfilled meaning if you still want these items you need to make the order up to 20 Euro again before being able to place the order.
The special offers are in fact far from special and in my opinion scams.
I spoke to Isabelle who was useless and unable to answer any questions I had. She placed me onto an apparent manager Danielle who was also useless and unable to provide answers to my questions.
Between Isabelle and Danielle and their lack of customer service they have lost a customer.
I now understand why their rating on Trust Pilot is so bad.
One star is way too generous.
I am sure Temu will leave an unmeaning bulk standard reply to my review- but this is the thing, they have all the information required to deal with this issue.
NO customer service is not of importance to them and NO they will never follow up on the problems experienced.”
“Completely unreliable. Takes customers' requests for granted. Even if you ask them a 100 times to please use the services of the local and nearby Retail Shops for your deliveries, simply for safety and a much more conducive approach for the customer's specific situation, your request is always and utterly disregarded. Instead, they prefer to use delivery companies whose work ethics are so poor and unreliable.”
“Temu will continuously offer you a hook to spend more money on the checkout. Today, I was told 'spend £15 more to unlock 3 items for 1p'. I spent almost £20 and then they discounted at checkout (no transparency) to ensure I didn't get the 3 items I was expecting.
This is underhand at best and fraudulent at worst. Either way, they offer the very worst customer experience possible through their slight of hand.
Their strategy is to get you to commit to more items/greater spend by dangling false offers in front of you.
I don't believe there's any place for a business like this in 2025 and believe this type of trading should be banned, or at least outright rejected by consumers.
I will never buy their cheap tatt again, nor be taken for a fool another time. I advise you to be very wary if you choose to spend your money with them!!”
“8 had the worst experience ever with Temu. They delivered my packages to my old address from 5 years ago and they won't refund me my money or is redeliver my stuff. THEY SAY IT WAS SIGNED FOR......but it wasnt signed by me it was to the people i sold my house to 5 years ago..I highly recommend not to use this sight..All they do is give u the run around and never fix the problem...”
“Offers that don’t exist when you go too pay, poor quality products, they deliberately lie about delivery time giving the impression your buying from the uk when the truth is there being shipped from china so expect to wait weeks and even months”
“Ordered exercise bike from temu but bike arrived with damaged screen and other problems. Wanted to return but temu instead of collecting the bike forces me to collection place and I can't do that because the bike is too heavy. The bike is useless and vert poor quality. Will never order anything from temu.

“My experience with Temu was terrible, and I will never buy from them again. The suppliers act in bad faith, splitting orders into multiple shipments and then refusing to provide proper return labels. I ordered 10 chairs, but the seller sent only 5 and later claimed they no longer had the color I purchased. Obviously, I refused to accept that.
When the 5 chairs arrived, I requested return labels. Temu sent ONE single return label for all 5 chairs combined. How am I supposed to fit 5 full-size chairs into one box and carry that to a UPS Store? Impossible. They ship each chair separately when selling, but expect the customer to return everything in one package. It makes no sense and feels intentionally abusive.
I tried multiple times to resolve this with Temu’s customer support, but they were completely useless. No real help, no solution, just canned responses.
This company has zero respect for customers, zero accountability, and a return process designed to make you give up. Worst online shopping experience I’ve had. Avoid Temu at all costs.”
“after many successful purchases in the past two years TEMU has fallen of a cliff in terms of customer service and delivery. It has me asking why I am still here after all there are MANY alternatives. It seem as as if TEMU has decided customers DO NOT matter anymore. Future purchases will be None as you can not live up to companies own "guarantees" delivery is now a JOKE . The slippery trick of moving delivery status to out for delivery only to find out that this means some time in the next 4 days. This is to cheat your customers and allow you to slip out from your policies.
Bit of free advice LYING to customers id NEVER the way to go”
“First order fro TEMU was an Ego battery, but it was defective. Customer service promised relief in 24 hours. LOL, I almost believed them. Save your time and $, their prices are too good to be true.”
“I ordered a luminous clock which was supposed to be delivered in about 5 days. Eleven days later it still had not arrived. I sent Temu a ticket and the clock arrived the next day. The tip of the big hand was bent. The instructions said to use a zinc cadmium battery (NOT mentioned on their site). It’s IMPOSSIBLE to find! I want to return it. The Temu site says that I have no orders from them. I never received an e-mail confirmation for my order - yet, IT WAS DELIVERED TO ME! I have no recourse, am stuck with a clock that I cannot use, and am totally disgruntled with these people. This was my first and LAST order from this pathetic, unscrupulous outfit. AND, their customer service is absolutely ATROCIOUS! THEM, AND THE LIKES OF THEM, NEVER AGAIN!”
“Parcel arrived already opened! Advised Temu immediately with photos and video evidence. We’re not interested in assisting at all. Poor customer service. They don’t listen and don’t care!”
“Product advertisements are misleading. Products are poor quality. Given most go straight in the bin, it is cheaper to pay more locally and get what you want. My delivery left me feeling like I had paid to dispose of someone elses environmentally unfriendly garbage.”
“Temu’s misleading marketing is based on false promises! Today, I’ll focus on their shipping deception. I ordered a sander that was advertised as being sold by a local seller with fastest delivery — within 2 business days (See photos! They might look the same but are 6 days a part).
However, once I paid, the delivery estimate changed to 2–7 days. After 3 days, I checked the order and saw it was delayed again and still marked as “seller is preparing the item.” After 6 days, it said the same thing! I suspect they meant “being made,” not “being prepared.”
And don’t be fooled by the “Speed Up Shipment” button — it’s just another gimmick and doesn’t do anything.
If you care about honesty and reliability, avoid Temu. Among other issues, their shipping claims are not what they appear to be.”
“I’ve been trying to register as a U.S. seller on Temu, and the process has been incredibly confusing. There don’t appear to be any U.S.-based representatives who understand how business formation and documentation actually work in the United States.
The system and support team seem designed for overseas entities, so standard U.S. structures aren’t recognized properly. Each support agent gives a completely different answer on how to verify or register — even when you provide official IRS and state-issued documents.
Temu has huge potential, but until they staff U.S.-based verification specialists or align their platform with U.S. business registration standards, onboarding will remain unnecessarily difficult for legitimate American sellers.”
