“I refuse to open TEMU due to the avalanche of ads. My wife and many of my friends are the same way. I think if TEMU execs used a modicum of commonsense, they would cut back on the ads, especially the extremely annoying popups that block using the TEMU site. If they regulated the ad space to reasonable levels they might double the visitors to their site.”
“I was offered 3 free items with my order of some artificial plants. Not only were some of the plants missing but NONE of the free items showed up. Still waiting to hear from them.”
“This app and company should not be allowed to sell anything in the United States. They lie about their products and they do, and say anything to avoid refunding your money on products. If you are an American, delete this app and stick reliable trusted companies. This company is not to be trusted.”
“Just tried the 10 free gifts which found out was a trick to let you invite your friends to join but won't give you 10 free gifts.
Always told you that you almost there and gave you hope that after you invited 1 more friend and you could earn the coins to get the gifts. But each invition would earn less coins than previous times. TEMU told you $1- to go. Then would be $0.5, then $0.3, $0.1, $0.05, $0.02, $0.01........which you never get to zero.”
“Buy what you need. Don’t fall into all the gimmicks of prizes, credit, huge discounts etc… They enticed me to spend a certain amount to get $50 credit. Then they gave me 5’ to accept the credit, which turns out to me having to buy 7 days continuously to receive the credit. Total gimmicks!”
“This company is like "Wish" or any other Chinese company. They present you with a nice picture of your products or whatever you like.
But then, when you have something to order, you get totally something else in colour, style and quality.
Not to mention that they get you in this ending or stock-up sale with discounts that you will miss and you will never get them. DON'T NOT ORDER. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I hope this review will go public and I will warn people "NOT TO LOSE THEIR MONEY AND EXPECTATIONS"”
“Saying I saved hundreds for what I ordered is false advertising and misleading for the garbage that I bought. Dollar store quality. Shouldn’t be in business.”
“Today a charge came in that I didn't approve, card was force to close 2nd time with Temu
Will never leave my card as payment again ,the amount was exactly the amount in my saved items,go figure!!!!!”
“They took my money and sent the wrong items saying what I ordered was out of stock. On Chat you cannot get anyone to understand they just keep putting a photo of the parcel 9n my door step.”
“Many times I added but J&T express courier past 1 month sending Whatsapp they're coming then one more msg sorry this time we fail to deliver, temu chosen wrong courier service. Need improvement”
“they keep reminding me about $90 credit but i can never find it? so I thought I would try to order and I was billed $47 worth of stuff. I had to find the cancel order in my email. definitely closing Temu acct.”
“Absolutely ridiculous, outrageous purchase. What 83-year-old woman needs shiny gold sneakers with rhinestones? But they were so insane that for $9.77 and free shipping, I had to have them. Thought they would be fun. They look exactly like the picture. Usually my shoe size is 9/40. These are 9/41, and I'm glad because the 40 would have been too short. Seem to be of reasonably good quality but I probably won't wear them too often lest folks think I've lost my mind. Ordered 10/21/24; received 10/29/24. No complaints whatsoever.”
“I ordered a desk, one hour later I realized I had the wrong address. So I did a change of address request. The order hadn't been shipped yet. But the request was denied. Customer service was unable to help at all! I am having FedEx return to sender.”
“Well, they said 3 items free then make you buy stuff off their site. Then the “fake free” stuff you chose never shows up. Basically false advertising and the quality of stuff you buy, is basically worth the price, throw it in the garbage because it doesn’t last long.”
