“Order not delivered. The man on telephone could not sort it out. Said he would ring me back. Rang back but still not sorted. Said he would ring back later. 3 hours later still no call. I rang again to get someone different. She said the van had broken down and I should have had a message. Could deliver tomorrow only at 10 pm. I said that wasn't convenient but was told it was that slot or nothing. Got an email the following day to say the order was cancelled but they had still taken payment and would refund me between 3 to 5 days. Shocking!!!!!!”

“I ordered a Tefal Wok and picked up some groceries with it. I chose my delivery date and sat back looking forward to this Wok. Groceries were delivered, Wok wasn't. They had run out of stock! I went back online and the Wok was still in stock! I ordered again this time with no groceries. I picked the only available delivery date 2 weeks away!. To my dismay the delivery driver arrives with a Tesco branded Wok instead! No stock. I refused the item and was told it will be refunded automatically. 3 weeks later I noticed it hadn't. I had to make a phone call last night to get it done. No apology. My request for a good will gesture for my unpleasant experience declined. Never again will I use this brand.”

“Been trying for about two years now to get a fresh loaf! Absolutely impossible you would think that a large store like Tesco would be able to provide you with a fresh loaf, not so every delivery I get is the same that’s why I have decided to use Another store near us they have said that they can get fresh bread every day! So that’s good enough for me! Regards Vince.”

“I purchased the own brand Tesco dishwasher tablets. I have to advise that this is a really bad product. Despite washing my tea cups twice over there still was a stain left in them. The tablets also do not clean the dishes properly leaving debris. Please please forward this to your product department for constructive criticism. I switched to Finish Dishwasher tablets and what a massive difference. I would never go back to Tesco brand and would rather pay more. Very disappointed.”

“Beware ordering a meal deal online. One item was missing and consequently the savings you think you are going to get disappear. You do get some discount but nothing like you would have got had the items been available. Crazy thing was that the particular item they said they couldn't deliver was still showing as available Total savings on order as presented should have been £11.58. Actual savings £5.44 and minus the bottle of wine i ordered. Never again Tesco”

“Read an article stating masks were available for £3 went in there earlier they were not selling reusable masks and they were trying to charge £6.50 for a few disposable masks ... What a con”

“I always shop at Tesco Banbridge . Its always my go to store . I wanted a plastic bucket and checked where it was made before buying it ..... made in the UK !! Congratulations Tesco for stocking home made products !”

“I have never had grocery delivered but having been forced to in this present Pandemic...I am now a complete convert, I have tried 3 but have to say Tesco totally outshines the others. The online system is easy to use, you can easily add items up until late the day before, the delivery drivers are efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and on time. They point out what the bags contain, e.g. Store cupboard, chilled, frozen etc...and point out any substitutes if you opted to accept them, also any short date life...with the option to return ! Cannot fault them well done to all the staff involved you need a clap 👏 👏..Many Thanks..Hereford Customer.”

“We used to shop at Sainsburys but since the lockdown we have been shopping on line. Tesco have proved to be one of the better supermarkets in terms of availability of slots, punctuality, availability of produce. Since Sainsburys consider supplying slot availability a few days ahead whereas Tesco supply them 3 weeks ahead, we have changed to tesco, Sainsburys have now lost about £320 per month from us forever”

“Today the driver demanded me to go downstairs to help him carry my shopping. The reason I do online shopping is that I can't bring it upstairs myself. I clearly stated on my order, that I need the shopping to be carried to the second floor. So far the drivers were kindly bringing my shopping upstairs. Today's driver was very unpleasant. He said, he carried tones of staff already and he will have to call his manager. He never did, and brought the shopping up eventually, but the whole experience was humiliating. I don't feel I need to explain my medical issues...”

“Before lockdown I used another supermarket but couldn’t get click and collect there so tried Tesco. I’ve been very pleased with the quality of items, the process of collection is so well organised I don’t even need to get out of my car and the staff are v pleasant (norham Road Tesco). I’m going to stick with Tesco after lockdown”

“Cannot fault Tesco, during this pandemic. They have really considered the vulnerable. Have used them all the time we have been isolated, cannot fault one order. We should appreciate the service these staff have offered. They too, have families who they could be contaminating, whilst making sure we are all fed. Congratulations Tesco”

“Bought two chicken masala from Finest range which we found were not enjoyable. They were like the cheapest you could buy and ruined our Friday night curry night. I always thought that surely it had to be ok from Finest range but not true in this case. When I tried to complain I had no joy without taking packaging back. Couldn't as had been binned and covered with the curry sauce.”

“After 3 online orders, we have been very pleasantly pleased at how good the system is, and the delivery guys have all been brilliant. The system of notifying the final delivery time on the day is very useful. And the stock levels are good, and we haven't had any missed or wrong items.”
