Tesco Bletchley would not understand the words “customer service”. I was verbally abused at the till by the lady working on the next till along and when the manager came over, I call him a manager but he looked about 12, his attitude was even worse. They had the cheek to ban me from the shop because I argued back with the lady on the till. Nobody tried to talk to me or help out, no solutions were discussed! I was humiliated by the behaviour of both staff members in front of other customers which was very unprofessional and highly upsetting. This was not the first time I have been treated badly there, the staff obviously receive very little if no customer care training and they seem to have a really aggressive manner when asked simple questions. I would never recommend this branch to anybody. I personally will look for another supermarket to use from now onwards.

Any positive reviews about Tesco should NOT be trusted, since it is common knowledge that most of the public despise Tesco's and would far rather shop elsewhere if Tesco didn't so arrogantly deny them a choice by setting up in well loved landmarks. How many of us have seen a place where there has always been a well loved community groceries or community pub been forced out of business by Tesco so they can set up a pitch there instead? To further demonstrate the traditional contempt that Tesco have for their customers, they deilberately increased their prices by turning their metro stores into `Express' just to antagonise customers further. There were protests outside stores because of this shameless scam to rob the public, knowing full well that customers have nowhere else to shop nearby. They are constantly low on stock and often have cleared out entire isles, leaving it completely empty, so that customers have no other choice, but to pay more money for something more expensive. This is a typical policy by Tesco. They will deliberately hold back stock so that customers are forced to pay for more expensive alternatives. Former employees have confirmed this and that Tesco will look for every way to scam and rip off customers. Just ask any staff member for a product missing from the shelf. They'll tell you they have none in stock while pallet loads of the same product sit in storage. As for quality, try buying a loaf of bread from Tesco a few days before its sell by date, only to find that when you get it home, it is NOT fresh bread at all. That's because Tesco change the labels and deliberately put false dates on them. That loaf of bread has been sitting in the warehouse for days after unloading from the delivery truck. The boss of Tesco UK literally admitted to this overwhelming arrogance and contempt for customers when it was first announced that a cost of living crisis was on its way. He was the first to gloatingly announce that Tesco would be increasing its prices. No other supermarket did this. They're small stores are routinely badly managed and clausterphobic. They withdrew cash self service checkouts to force customers who pay by cash to stand in long queues, with only one or two open, causing customers to become frustrated at having to struggle to move. Again, this is done deliberately by Tesco to antagonise customers and cause tension. Even the staff aren't happy to work there as they always seem so utterly miserable or stressed out compared to other well known supermarket chains. UPDATE: Just popped out to Tesco and yet again, they have demonstrated their typical inconvenience to everyone. Now, they have moved all the self service checkouts and caused more lengthy queues, where could hardly move. I gave up and just left in disgust. Yet, these parasites had the audacity to remove the hot deli and cut back on almost everything and increase their prices sky high, not only more than every other supermarket chain, but to deliberately rub our noses in it, they increased the prices to more than they charge in their other stores where they deny customers a choice.

Awful experience, driver refused to delivered grocery order after arriving at flat and the best customer support would do is reschedule for four days later. Clearly no consequences for drivers failing to preform their duties, and no consideration for customers who have been let down. Shockingly poor across the board.

Without Prejudice. On the 4/10/2022, I believe I was purchasing a new pay as you go smart phone at Tescos Mobile store, London N12 0SH. When the phone box was bought out to me, I believe the phone box manufactures security seals were all ready broken (Pic 1) and most of the manufactures protective packaging bags were missing (Pic 3). On one of the sides of the phone box, its original manufactures label has been covered over with another label from Tescos, The label has a S/N, which matched up with the phone. Why is that label on that box? I believe the Tescos label was on the box for a refurbished or a returned phone and not for a new phone? (Pic 2) When the female staff person set up my phone, I hadn't actually touched it or seen it close up, but when I got home, I noticed the phone was covered in greasy finger prints and scratches and scuff marks particularly on the back. It was clear to me, I believe this phone was not a new phone! I bought the phone back lunch time the next day, 5/10/2022 and advised the same female staff person of all the issues and I advised and showed her the back of the phone was covered in greasy finger prints, scratches and scuff marks. (Pic 4) She acknowledged they were there, but advised she didn’t know how they got there and point blank refused to replace the used phone for a new one! I came back to the the Tescos Mobile store again on Saturday 8/10/2022, early lunch time to advised the same female staff person of my concerns about the phone previously been used and tried to show her the evidence, but I believe she and her two other colleagues ganged up on me and the male, accused me of being a chancer and through me out of the store like I was a common criminal. Please Note, I’m 72 year old disabled man! On the 19/10/2022 I believe the manager had gone to a lot of effort to try and discredit me, considering he was never in the store when I purchases the phone, etc. I wrote several letters of complaint to Tescos Mobile via there official complaint procedure on their website and their Facebook page, etc. I asked for the right to request to see the stores CCTV footage. I received several confusing replies from Tesco Customer Service and Tesco Mobile Customer Concerns Management Team. I received acknowledgement and some apologies from them all, but it appears that my concerns and request have been ignored. What does that tell you?

“Every little helps”…remove the E at the start and S at the end and you have… “very little help” which is what we got from Tesco last week! Although our holiday in the Lake District was fabulous and we had an amazing week, it didn’t get off to the best start due to being let down by Tesco. We had booked a delivery for between 5pm and 6pm the evening we arrived. We arrived at the house we were staying in at approx. 4:30pm and the updates on the app were saying the delivery was expected on time. Shortly after 5pm there was an update to say the driver was running slightly late, this was fine with us at this point. This was then updated further to say the driver would be about half an hour later than expected… this wasn’t too bad as we understood the area is a little difficult to get to. A little later, the app updated again to say the driver was running late but updates are currently unavailable. We thought this seemed a bit strange and it started to get later and later and there was still no further updates. I then contacted customer service and spoke to a man named Danny and I have to admit, it left me questioning whether he is suited to a customer service role. I explained what had happened and he said he would look into what was going on and see if I can find out where the driver is. After placing me on hold for a few moments he said our order had failed to be delivered. I explained we were in a holiday home and had just arrived so we were waiting on the shopping this evening for dinner that evening and the majority of what we would be needing for the week. He then said he would find out why the delivery was unsuccessful and put me on hold again. After a few minutes, he informed me the driver had run out of legal drive time. This seemed a bit ridiculous to me especially seeing as I had not been contacted at all and the only info I had was the updates within the app which as explained above, stopped once it got to a certain point. I was quite frustrated and explained that with respect this was not my problem and I needed something to be done to resolve this. He then placed me on hold again to see what could be done. After another few minutes he came back to say the delivery wouldn’t be able to go out again until tomorrow. I then explained again that we were waiting on stuff that was needed for that evening and asked them if they could send someone out with it this evening or even put it in a taxi to bring it to us. He simply said they don’t do that and there is nothing else he can do. I then complained that this is not the service I expect and on an almost £300 order, I definitely do not expect these sort of problems. I asked why I was not contacted sooner and all he said was that my phone number was not provided (I had already checked the order info and knew it was and it is also all over my Tesco account info). He said he could offer a £20 gesture of good will voucher and get it re delivered. I was not happy with this as we still needed a lot of the shopping that evening. I explained this and the attitude I got was of someone who didn’t really care and as if I was in the wrong for getting frustrated about it. I asked if we could go and collect it from wherever it was and after placing me on hold again he confirmed this was possible. I requested a discount on the order for the inconvenience as well as the fuel we used to make a 90 minute round trip to collect. All he could say was no he will not be able to do that. For someone who is supposed to be there to help, he gave one of the worst impressions I have ever had from a leading supermarket brand! In the end we proceeded to drive 90 minutes in total to collect our shopping and the nice man who met us at the collection point, was the only thing that slight redeemed Tesco, he told us that we should not have had to drive all that way when it was the complete fault of the driver who had failed to deliver. He also apologised profusely for the service I received from Danny and was shocked himself that no refund/compensation was offered aside from a £20 voucher and helped us load our shopping into the car. I never usually have a problem with Tesco but I was disgusted at the service I was given by their “customer service” team, especially regarding such a large value order and the state of the cost of living currently!

Update on Tesco fraud. I have now taken legal advise. Results I was told I cannot take Tesco to the small claims court as on each overcharge they refunded the overcharge and I am not out of pocket. I was also told that it is a waste of time talking to my MP as they have no power over trading standards. I was also told, that what I told him, athat this is a serious fraud and the only way forward is to take action against there CEO Ken Murphy in legal proceedings. He told me this will cost thousands of pound and take many months to come to a resolution. Finally he advised me ways of getting funding to take this action. Will update as soon as this is resolved

Update on Tesco fraud. After months waiting for trading standards to take action I have been told that they will not tell me what action they will be taking if any. It is pointless reporting to trading standards as you will never be informed of any progress. So now I will have to get my member of parliament involved to get things changed. If no action was taken then Tesco can get away with what I believe to be fraud. Update when I get some information
