Unfortunately, I wasted my time with this agency for nearly 4 years as an instructor. Your vehicle will be seized and they force you to pay the weekly franchise fee even though just allegations happened against the instructor. Which is obviously going to be happened in the UK They delayed providing a new replacement vehicle for 11 months. They kept promising. When it arrived, then it was dirty, missing of carpets and very low of fuel. Their diary is a big mess up. Probably unprofessional programmers created it. When you have to take your vehicle for servicing they always book it in as far as possible from your home because it's cheaper for them. The management is not knowledgeable, they are only interested in money. This is not a driving school, only an agency. The instructors are self-employed. If they don't like you as an instructor then on purpose the number of students will be reduced, but they certainly deny it. They only provide lengthy contracts. They are missing paying out hours and they blame the system. If you don't realise it then it remains unpaid. But the system never overpays you. My first pass rate is 99% for many years, but not because of this driving school agency.

Wouldn’t have passed without Freddie’s help. Great instructor. Knowledgeable, explained everything clearly and provided helpful tips. Gave me the confidence to improve and pass. South London area, highly recommend to anyone looking for a driving instructor. 100/10

I was taught by Sayeed Chowdhury and he made me feel comfortable and confident in the car from day one. I passed my test with flying colours and I fully recommend Sayeed to anyone looking to learn.

Every time I booked a lesson, and booked time off work / swap days off to fit around the schedule, the lesson would be cancelled at 12am (roughly 8 hours before lesson). This has happened on more than 1 occasion. If you actually want to learn to drive and not just waste time constantly booking lessons just for them to cancel as it's not convenient for the instructor the night before, I'd stay far away from these. Terrible service and customer service. I will find the instructors name and address to this review. In the Watford WD3 area.

Avoid Andre Quincani he is absolutely the worst instructor you will ever come across and AA will not do a thing about it even with previous complaints, the online chat does not work, the phone number provided tells you to go on online chat and hangs up on you. There is no email confirmation of asking for your refund and you can’t get refund on the lesson taken as the driver decides if you get a refund not AA. I eventually got partial refund after being persistent. Andre Quincani is a threat to learners and other drivers on the road. Kept telling me to keep going when the double dashed white line required me to stop and check for oncoming traffic on junctions. Changed my lesson time on the day of my lesson after sending 5 essay messages with his very own terms and conditions which he sais ‘dates and times of your lessons will be changed by me…’ he can change the lesson time whenever he wants but if I don’t agree with it I must in his words ‘then you can cancel that booking yourself and book another one that fits you’ which is not true because the system won’t allow me to change the lesson in short notice I would end up losing my money. He changed my lesson time 5 hours before my lesson but requires me to give him 48 hours if I want to change the lesson time. I only started driving 40 minutes into my lesson. Insisted I had to book 6 hour lesson just to go on the dual carriageway as it was very far away (lies). Initially kept jumping onto the steering wheel when there was absolutely no threat nearly injuring my arm till I gave him a look then he stopped and when I asked why he reached to the steering wheel he pretended not to hear or understand. He might even have hearing problems related to age as he didn’t understand many things I said to him. Didn’t give me any feedback just agreed with what I said. He tried to end the lesson 15 min early and when he realise I would not be booking 66 hours with him he started to get rude and started saying I would not pass my driving test and refused to let me practice parking when I had time. Didn’t come up with any lesson plan. Waffled on speaking slowly until my lesson time was up and then rudely left the car abruptly leaving me in shock but it got worse, he want to the boot and got a hoover while I went over to shake his hand then he proceeded to hoover the seat I sat in. Stay away from AA go indy they don’t value learner drivers at all.

Minara Bibi - avoid this instructor. She talks a lot so a lot of session time is wasted at her talking at you. She is very good at bringing your confidence down and persuading you need a lot more lessons before test ready. And lastly, her pricing is dodgy. She charges upward of £200 quid on test day. Avoid her.

Their driving instructors drive like they have a blind fold on. Cut me up, brake checked me and then had the nerve to give me abuse. Must have forgot he was driving the company car.

I have had a very bad experience with the AA. My instructor was a trainee and didn't pass his ADI part 3. I requested for a refund of more than £300 as of the 6th of November and still haven't received it. I had a chat today 13th of November with the same person only for him to tell me that I hadn't requested for a refund. Unfortunately for him I had a screenshot of the chat so referred him to it. Very incompetent person he was. I even requested to speak to someone else other than him but he didn't let him. It has really stressed my out as I have booked a lesson with a private instructor and going to use that money to pay for it. I'm very disappointed with The AA.

Had lessons in Bristol with Alan Leach. He was always patient and explained anything I asked about. He never asked for commitment to regular lessons, which was helpful given I had a limited budget and changing timetable. I think his style of teaching takes a few more lessons than other instructors, but it never felt like he was trying to push unnecessary lessons on me. I passed my test first time with only one fault, so no complaints there. I got the impression AA instructors work independently, so I can’t say anything for the organisation as a whole, but I would recommend Alan to anyone in Bristol.

AA driving school is perhaps the best brand driving school in the UK. I am extremely happy as I passed my driving test in the first attempt. My driving instructor JESUTHASAN RAJKUMAR [RAJ] was very patient to start with as I had to unlearn a lot of things from my previous driving experience. He explains in easy to understand language and analogies, which made it very easy for me to grasp things quickly and then put them to practice. The fact that I passed in my first attempt goes to show the hard work that Raj puts in behind the scenes. He is also easy to schedule classes with l, which is an added advantage. In summary, I 100% endorse Raj as a driving instructor.

Horrible driving school, my driving instructor was constantly on his phone throughout lessons, had a bad temper and sometimes became very rude or blunt. Did not learn ANYTHING in my lessons and didn’t realise quite how bad he was until I change company and instructor. When reported to AA they told me the instructor denied all of this and put the blame on me, they then said unless I have evidence it cannot be investigated. What evidence would I have? I’m not the one that has a phone on during the driving lesson

My lessons in Birmingham with Mohammed Ojud were a success. He was patient with me every step of the way and taught me everything I needed to know not just to pass the test but like he said to be a confident driver. Although it was a random pick on the app, I sincerely feared the outcome as with any new endeavour but he immediately put me at ease and I learnt a whole lot from him. I was a fresher and didn't know anything about the system, having already booked my driving lessons prior to my theory test and Mohammed told me that for that I needed to read and understand to pass theory and to continue my driving lessons for my actual driving test. I finished my driving lessons and relocated to many cities From Birmingham, London, Bath, Wales, Manchester and Glasgow and although I never took another driving class. I passed my test in a totally different city from where i had my lessons all because I always heard his voice telling me the right thing and having slowly built my confidence with the lessons I'm greatful for that. I highly recommend Mohammed to anyone in Birmingham you'll get a kind and compassionate teacher and instructor. Thank you to AA for having great instructors

I had lessons with Greg Tompkins. He is very nice and friendly. He taught me to be a good and safe driver. I wasn’t confident and was quite nervous but the more lessons I had with him, I got better. Thank you for everything. Greg is an excellent instructor.
