“I have just passed and It wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for Raj! Very professional and informative and has good explaining techniques for you to pass quickly. I’m really grateful and happy I booked with AA and received Raj as an instructor. Highly recommend!”

“Choosing AA driving school was the best decision i could of made. My driving instructor Raj had the best teaching technique, he was very encouraging and he made the experience enjoyable for me. Thanks to him i passed my test on the first try!”

“I am a licence holder and I did my driving lesson with AA around Norwood previously. I had the best instructor then. Now after passing my driving lesson. I needed to check my confidence and skills with drive plus lessons. AA then provide with JESUTHASAN RAJKUMAR around Croydon area. He particularly helped me build up my confidence and skills in motor way by waiting for my action steps and explaining before hand what's expected. He capitalises with poise enforcement when I do things right. He doesn't get stuck all day commenting on wrong skills. He rather correct me in such a calming and confidence building approach. I like that his pace and I am driving around the city and motor ways in such a careful and confident manner. Thank you.”

“First instructor, Awais Maqsood let me down and cancelled the lesson the week before my test and wouldn't give me a lesson before my test, which I narrowly failed. James Cuerden agreed to do my test today and then didn't turn up! He said I hadn't booked the time but he did it for a previous test that was cancelled, so I assumed he would again. He didn't contact me to see why I hadn't booked it either. Absolute waste of time and money! I won't use AA again.”

“Mr Ahmad Zia Kohistani is a very wonderful instructor who knows each and every road very well.He is very dedicated and showed great sincerity in wanting me to pass. Very humble man and great teacher! Highly recommended..! He always arrives 5 mins before the start time and I learnt a lot from his driving skills , and most of all , how to be a responsible driver. Thank you Mr Ahmed Zia and AA.”

“I would like to take the time to highlight the professionalism, expertise and patience of my instructor, Bashir Omar. I had not practised driving in a while and I booked intense lessons ahead of my test today. He insured that I corrected every bad habit/ fault and ensured that I was ready ahead of my test. I am so grateful for his hard work and contribution.”

“Ahmad Zia Kohistani is one of the best trainers that I dealt with, as his best feature is taking care of the student until he passes the exam. The others I dealt with were not interested in the student whether he learned or not, their biggest concern was money. I only developed and improved my skills with Ahmad Zia Kohistani. Even if I rate it 5 out of 5, it will remain a little in his right. Thank you mr Ahmad Zia Kohistani.”

“Had an absolute awful experience that completely put me off learning to drive for years with an AA instructor - I feel that I can only talk about it now. He was terribly angry and would constantly (while I was driving) reach over and beep the horn at other drivers whilst swearing at them and flipping them off. I was already terribly nervous so this completely set my nerves on edge. It escalated on my last lesson - my instructor decided to confront a van who was parked on double yellows (but didn’t obstruct us whatsoever) and told me to stop the car in the road. The van driver and my instructor proceeded a verbal fight, at one point escalating to my instructor unbuckling his seatbelt - to which I asked him ‘please don’t get out the car’. Eventually they stopped fighting, and as I was moving the car off to drive, the van driver appeared and revved the van at me and cut me off, forcing us to slam the emergency brake. I hated my experience with the AA, and specifically with this instructor. As an already nervous girl driver, I felt his anger and road rage escalated situations and put me at risk. I am sad that I didn’t report it when it happened, as I was worried and thought this was normal. But will never use the company for anything.”

“I have my test coming up next week and since my instructors car broke down he asked me to call and arrange for another car/instructor but when I spoke to them they asked me to cancel my test(and wait for another 8 months to book test) instead of helping me find another instructor.Very unprofessional please do not rely on AA”

“Disappointing. Booked lessons with AA, first instructor never turned up. Booked again a week after, 2 hours before lesson the instructor emailed to cancel, decent enough of him to give a 2 hours notice. Booked a third one through a friend. After a few lessons he told me I'm below average for god's sake I'm still a learner or i wouldn't need you. He said I was wasting money and that driving is a skill that not everyone has. I told him not to worry about my finance. Thought that was the way for them to earn their bread. Anyway I had 2 lessons left and he told me to find someone else. He still owes me hours of lessons because every time there was something that came up and he had to finish early. Tried change instructor but couldn't and AA was supposed to contact me for details of why I wanted to change but I'm still waiting.”

“I passed 2months ago with 2minors and on the first try!!!!! I can not thank David Meredith enough! He was so patient with me, he explained things so well and made me feel so confident! While other driving instructors have put down he builds you up! He helped me believe in myself especially when I was doubting or putting myself down! Thank you so much! Can not recommend him enough 🙌🏼 Honestly thank you so much Dave”

“I'm so excited to share that I passed my driving test on my first attempt with zero minors. I couldn't have done it without the help of my amazing driving instructor, Siraj Akbar. He's a brilliant teacher who pushes you to be your best. He taught me everything I needed to know to pass the test, and I'm so grateful for his guidance. I'm so happy to finally be a licensed driver. This is a huge milestone for me, and I can't wait to start exploring the world behind the wheel. Thanks again, Siraj! Here are some of the things I learned from Siraj: How to control the car in different weather conditions How to parallel park like a pro How to deal with unexpected situations on the road How to stay calm and focused while driving I'm so glad that I had Siraj as my driving instructor. He's an excellent teacher, and I'm confident that I'll be a safe and responsible driver thanks to his instruction. If you're looking for a driving instructor, I highly recommend Siraj Akbar. He's the best in the business!”
