“Disappointing. Booked lessons with AA, first instructor never turned up. Booked again a week after, 2 hours before lesson the instructor emailed to cancel, decent enough of him to give a 2 hours notice. Booked a third one through a friend. After a few lessons he told me I'm below average for god's sake I'm still a learner or i wouldn't need you. He said I was wasting money and that driving is a skill that not everyone has. I told him not to worry about my finance. Thought that was the way for them to earn their bread. Anyway I had 2 lessons left and he told me to find someone else. He still owes me hours of lessons because every time there was something that came up and he had to finish early. Tried change instructor but couldn't and AA was supposed to contact me for details of why I wanted to change but I'm still waiting.”

“I passed 2months ago with 2minors and on the first try!!!!! I can not thank David Meredith enough! He was so patient with me, he explained things so well and made me feel so confident! While other driving instructors have put down he builds you up! He helped me believe in myself especially when I was doubting or putting myself down! Thank you so much! Can not recommend him enough 🙌🏼 Honestly thank you so much Dave”

“Instructors are really rude and they try to make you take more lessons. And if you complaint, there will be no response from the AA team.”

“I'm so excited to share that I passed my driving test on my first attempt with zero minors. I couldn't have done it without the help of my amazing driving instructor, Siraj Akbar. He's a brilliant teacher who pushes you to be your best. He taught me everything I needed to know to pass the test, and I'm so grateful for his guidance. I'm so happy to finally be a licensed driver. This is a huge milestone for me, and I can't wait to start exploring the world behind the wheel. Thanks again, Siraj! Here are some of the things I learned from Siraj: How to control the car in different weather conditions How to parallel park like a pro How to deal with unexpected situations on the road How to stay calm and focused while driving I'm so glad that I had Siraj as my driving instructor. He's an excellent teacher, and I'm confident that I'll be a safe and responsible driver thanks to his instruction. If you're looking for a driving instructor, I highly recommend Siraj Akbar. He's the best in the business!”

“I passed my driving test today with only 2 minors, and I would like to thank my driving instructor - David Meredith. David helped me to feel at ease during lessons as he was calm and patient. David also helped me to become very confident on dual carriageways, spiral roundabouts, and the motorway. Therefore, I would highly recommend David Meredith as a driving instructor as he is great!”

“Pass today thanks to Kristine Melnikova AA driving school is the best school to start. She is patient and helps you understand everything you do whilst driving with the best explanations as well. Help you to keep calm enjoying your driving lessons. Shes the best instructor I’ve met and I highly recommend using her.”

“My first ever driving lesson (2 hours) I assumed id be learning the basics in the passenger seat. Cockpit controls, finding bite point, using the gears and stop starting on a quiet road. Nope my instructor had me driving immediately on main roads around roundabouts then started yelling at me. *MY FIRST EVER DRIVING LESSON* haven't got a clue what I am doing. Completely terrified at this point. Awful experience. My instructor was an older man who clearly has own his methods of teaching which involves yelling and shouting which involves running before you can walk. Real shame.”

“I passed my driving test today. I have trained with Raj. He has all the knowledge and is very polite with answering all the questions I had. Such a good trainer witb excellent skils and teaching method. Highly highly recommend. Very accomodating with timing as well. Thank you so much Raj :)”

“I passed my driving test almost 7 years ago, and it was such a stressful experience that I put my full licence away into a drawer with no intention of ever using it. But recently, I decided to give it another try, and that's how I met Raj (Jesuthasan Rajkumar) from the AA driving school. He is the most patient instructor (and I've had many) who explains driving in easy and doable terms, and he's very supportive of his students and helps so much to build confident but careful driving skills. I've finally mastered motorways, and most importantly, I've started to enjoy driving - to the point where I am looking forward to it. I cannot recommend Raj enough.”

“Had an instructor named Mathew, completely useless, does not structure lessons very well, poor quality lessons delivered and does not care about your progression, always turning up late and cancels lesson at last minute without a reason. I would suggest you avoid wasting your time with this instructor as you will never be test ready with his careless approach. To put it lightly, he is a scam.”

“We used an instructor called William Pardey he actually crushed my daughter with his comments he made to her she had a previous instructor who was really good with her and said she was test ready but unfortunately she had a family bereavement and had to give up so we chose to go with the AA what a mistake we had a test booked and ready to go we found this so called instructor who was useless first lesson had to finish early as run out of oil second lesson was not much better with him then week before her test he just crushed her confidence and said he would not take her to the test and she could also not use his car. Now it is not all about cancellation of the test it was his whole smarmy attitude and was more concerned about his reputation so this why I have posted this review I do believe they are there to teach them to drive and build there confidence not crush them.”

“My partner had a driving instructor in Colindale called Korab, he did not fulfil the full 2 hours. She had 30 minutes left and he said he we was finished. He stated if he knew she did not have the theory test he would not have accepted the lesson. He could have cleared that up when he was texting her before the lesson. Driving experience was good with some diagram learning and driving experience on the road, but overall I feel this is very disappointing experience for my partner. He turned up late and she only got 75% lesson making in effect his rate more expensive than the most expensive AA option. My partner asked via message later if he is able to add 30 minutes to a future lesson and he has since blanked her. Some positives but a lot of negatives, especially since she will now have to start with someone else in effect wasting £66. Not great to give confidence to a person on her first lesson.”

“My instructor, Jose Caires, is a great teacher who is supportive, patient and good at teaching. His explanations were clear and easy to follow, and he was attentive. I passed my test at Tolworth thanks to all his help and guidance, but I am most grateful for his patience and professionalism as an instructor which allowed me to feel comfortable and confident driving.”

“Jose Caires was an excellent driving instructor and helped me to pass my driving test with only three minors. He taught me precision and confidence and was so supportive throughout the whole process from start to finish, and always gave me constructive feedback on how to improve my skills. I enjoyed our lessons so much that I intend to take the pass plus course with Jose. Thank you!!!”
