My husband hit an unlit island which resulted in a blown out front tyre. We had two grandchildren and a puppy in the car. We were in an unlit parking space on the side of a very busy dual carriageway. The AA said we were a priority call due to the children being in the car. The AA arrived within twenty minutes of receiving the call and changed the tyre for us. An excellent service. Thank you so much.

Awesome customer service. My fiancé was in a nasty car accident that required medical attention and the car I’m an unsafe location. I had full cover in place. AA placed me on hold for an hour and the wanted to sell me products. I had to terminate the call and phone a competitor who I had no cover with who was there within 30mins. I raised a complaint and the response was lazy. I’d never purchase an AA product again.

Broke down on the A14 at 4.30pm contacted on the app got replied that the patrol would be with me at 18.05pm then later told that it could be another two hours some local garage came out about 8.00pm said it was fixed pulled back on to the A14 he was behind me then my van engine died again just40 yards up the road he got out and said that we needed to move off the A14 managed to get van started and limp van off the A14 in to a side road he told me i needed to contact the AA again to tell them i needed recovery this was at 8.30pm it took me 1hour to get any response from the AA when i tolled the AA i needed recovery they replied it may take up to 4hours AA patrolman turned up at 12.30am to moan that he had not got time to recover my van to take me home he arranged for the AA to send another AA patrolman out to recover my van at 1.30am the other patrolman arrived and thankfully loaded my van he asked how long i had waited for recovery i told him 9hours he was shocked and apologized its not his fault the conditions where -5 below so very cold i arrived back home 3.45am Friday morning 11hours later wont be renewing my membership MR W HUMPHREY.

Car broke down at home a week ago and unable to repair. Patrol arrived - couldn’t repair. Budd recovery booked 1000 - 1200 next day but didn’t come till late afternoon and unable to move as gears not immobilised. Another patrol called and 40 mins to find lever. Then car winched off my drive and left on hard standing on roadside. Too late for garage. Budd arrived next day in time to get to garage but unknown to me took it to storage! There it has remained for a further 5 days. Budd are atrocious. The latest saga a vehicle from another firm was to pick it up yesterday but Budd couldn’t give access in time so vehicle left without my car. Thus over a week later my car is still in storage. Today having been told a priority recovery vehicle will pick my car up and even told at 0930 it was on track to do a pick up at 1100, I’ve received a call that this now won’t happen. They say Budd will do it as it is easier for them as they have to move a load of NCAA’s to get to it! This latter firm in my opinion of course are rogues.

Yesterday i broke down on A12 near Blythburgh at around 1650hrs, Tried calling AA through the app as well as through the number given on website, but no one picked up the phone. waited in this cold night along with my partner for 40 minutes but neither anyone picked the phone nor the app was of any help. some how managed to reach home in lowestoft, driving at the speed of 10mph. next morning again i tried calling them but it was a futile attempt. no one picked up the phone. REALLY REALLY DISGUSTING AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL. IHAVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR PAST 6 YEARS AND THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IT HAS HAPPENED WITH ME. FIRST TWO TIME WHEN THIS HAPPENED , I GAVE THEM BENEFIT OF DOUBT BUT HTIS TIME IT WAS REALLY BAD. I AM GOING TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP AND MOVE ON TO SOME ONE TRUSTWORTHY AND RELIABLE.

15.12.22 Left a young lad on the roadside, in the middle of nowhere , up in Scotland on the coldest night of the year . He waited 4 hrs before he was told at 10 pm no one was going to come to tow him and he had to find his own way ,40 minutes in total in sub zero conditions . Absolutely disgusting and would not recommend

AA was supposed come out at 10am this morning now 8pm and still no sign of them loads of call to them and still no show worse service I have ever come across Katie on phone service just said Don’t no if there can even get to me now that last call was placed at 7.45 pm date 15/12/2022 membership will be getting cancelled in morning

Broke down on the A2 last night at 4:40pm waited almost an hour to be towed twice as far away from home to a ''safe space'' which was a mc Donald's and a subway at the Dartford Services. The AA then needed to send someone out to check the problem (2 hours later), also on a flatbed truck that could have taken me home, I was then dumped there until 12:50am. I have woken up with a cough and cold as there was no where to sit in the warm for 8+ hours. Utterly disgusted is an understatement. A complete lack of care and common sense shown. When you are closer to home than the services, surely you should just be taken home and ease the stress on the company. It took 3 people to do the job of one person with an ounce of common sense.

Absolutely disgusted with the AA called them this morning at 8:30 for a break down with me and my child in the van, had a patrol car come out 2 hours delayed. Told the engineer car isn’t leaking so don’t put anymore water into the reservoir I just need a tow to the garage to which he then poured water into the reservoir thinking he can find a fault to water all 6 litres he poured into the van went straight into the oil sump. He then told me he could tow the van as it’s too big to which he ‘booked’ a recovery truck to come pick my van up and drop it to the garage for 1 o’clock which I thought brilliant thank you. Then 10 hours later my van is still on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck…..luckily I had a relative pick up my child as he would have probably got hypothermia. I spoke to aa customer service on the phone the simply said sorry and told me they’ve spend 23 minutes on the phone and other customers waiting I’ve had to call the tow truck company and leave my key in a safe location as I can’t spend anymore time 13 hours is ridiculous. Hopefully my van gets to the garage I simply won’t know until tomorrow morning

Extremely bad company. Changed the time over 7 times for me. Ended up waiting 4 hours in the freezing cold with kids in the car. Customer Service is so bad they do not care at all and have attitude when talking to you on the phone.

I called at 13:15 on 10 December and had to call another three times JUST TO GET A RECOVERY SLOT. Your customer care staff are appalling. Only when escalated to a manager did I get a booking, with a 9 hour waiting time. I've been a customer for 9 years paying almost £26 a month. Now it cannot be trusted. Currently 0 degrees and dropping. Incredibly poor service. I know you're busy, but you clearly need to employ more people to keep the business afloat. Off to your competitors I go!

I woke up to a flat battery on 9 December. I have been a member for over 20 years and this is the first I have used the service. I contacted AA by phone/internet at approximately 12/45. I received an immediate reply that someone would with me my 1/10. Simon arrived at exactly that time. Tested my battery told me I needed a new one. He disappeared for about 50 mins came back and fitted anew one. Fabulous service by an outstanding employee . I cannot recommend him and the service highly enough. My annual fee well worth every penny. Many thanks Simon!,

Wankers my wife is blind and disabled they don't give a f ck well I'm hoping the retarded people who took the pi ss has a still born or miscarriage all there lives karma will pay scum bags like this and I'm putting worse then this called payback and put photos on face book as I was asked then I can laugh and cheer me up instead of running my wife to the Queen Elizabeth hospital every day and her having to stay in me no car the f King spas tics will be paid back I'm hoping it starts know

Hopeless! Will not help you, they are after an easy things/ repairs that you can do yourself. Anything slightly more complicated is a No! Will not renew and use them again.

Is broke My Van wait on A1 3 hours For Recovery is Take out first petrol station For Check and i told him engine broke , and ieșit another 7 hours For Recovery is cold outside No money , is dont care about people

First year as a private individual after numerous years of driving under the protection of a company car umbrella. I was very pleased with the level of communication via the AA App, and the prompt attendance and subsequent service provided by the AA (40 minutes from start to finish). Richard was very understanding, thorough and totally professional in his approach from beginning to end, he's a credit to his profession and the AA. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend AA breakdown cover.

Our AA pre-purchase Car Inspection was conducted by Sujeeva on 5/12/22 Comprehensive notes and clear information. Enabled us to specify, with confidence, what needed to be addressed by the car dealer. Professional and exemplary inspection - every last detail, included. Not only this but Sujeeva promptly followed this through with a phone call to discuss further - much appreciated. THANK YOU SUJEEVA!

Hi. Going to be leaving your company bad reviews in every way I can day in and day out for the foreseeable future. Total joke of a company. Obviously have got a list of cars with certain faults they don't want to deal with and get out clauses. Eg I broke down next to a garage and asked them to look and they said they couldn't do anything because the ignition would not even turn on. AA left me stranded . Say I have breached my terms and conditions . Stitched up like a kipper. Car is still in the middle of nowhere. Had to get a rental and having to get a transporter to main dealer. See my trust pilot review for some more details. I'll be updating that day in and day out.

Absolutely pathetic level of service ... Guys be aware of the game they play through the customer services.. My Vehicle battery was dead .. i called them and ask for the assistance... They customer service representative told be that car tax is expired i told her OK i will tax and call she didn't say anything.... Next morning i called her again she said OK somebody is going to come... she kept on waiting and when in the end they cant manage to come they simply called and excused that first time you called your vehicle was not taxed we cant help.. I asked them she could have told me more then 12 hours ago ..why she didn't guide me... He said we cant do anything that how we do.. I said to him my insurance was valid yesterday he said yes.. i asked him what was valid service at that time .. she said no service just membership was valid but no service you can take.. I asked him why you take money if there is no valid service he said we cant do anything... I asked him who is going to pick my daughter from school because of your mistake this happened he said... you should rush ... and go pick her up ... That was the sign that we don't do anything... we are here to say No... I kept on asking why that customer service representative kept me waiting for more then 12 hours i could have arranged someone but he said i cant say anything.. that how we are Be aware guy that we the worst service ever they will take money and whenever you need them if they are busy they will have hundred of excuses.... So do not take them seriously they are absolutely wasting time. I would not recommend anyone to pay money and think that this will work. Now the came up with the funniest explanation ever that once the road tax expires even after renewal they wont be able to assist anyone as it is illegal. So according to them it is illegal for them to assist any car in UK. You guys can understand what i was referring to
