“Avoid at all costs! They claim their patrols at experts and claim to repair 8 out of 10 cars at roadside. Called them out for bonnet catch not locking in place and only remaining on safety catch, they arrived said the part has completely seized and needs replacing advised safe to drive even though advised my mechanic is 20 miles away my mechanic advised not to drive on safety catch as not safe as bonnet can flip up at any moment!! Mechanic advised part just needed to be taken off and cleaned and put back on and worked perfectly fine to remove it was just two bolts and to clean it only took break cleaner and a rag! Raised with customer service and completely ignored and are happy with their “experts” work! What a joke!! Con artists if you ask me will be cancelling membership and going elsewhere!”

“Excellent service all the way the only thing i had a problem with was when i first joined getting the dos to u as i dont go online and found it very hard and difficuilt to do so thats why i gave u a avarage on that other than that excellent serivce and highly recomended one millon per cent.”

“AA insurance wrongfully put a default onto my credit file and then took 2 years to remove it. This resulted in us been declined for a mortgage”

“My car was not able to start so I contacted the AA as both my wife and I had membership.Within 2 hours we had an AA guy at the scene.He was first class and had the car working totally within an hour and explained what had occurred. So thank you AA for sending your mechanic named Dee who lives in Rugeley a few miles away.He is TOP CLASS.”

“Hi I had very nervy experience in choosing AA car insurance in the past which was okay. A bit pricey but bearable. Then one time I was searching for home insurance and when I did an internet search it came AA first in my list at a reasonable price. So I chose it and agreed and went ahead with one year policy but then after 6 months of home insurance it keep changing its term conditions and goes and on and on and it was getting on my nerve and sending so much unnecessary letters. I read the term and conditions I did not like it because it makes it hard and harder to make a claim if there was a major accident. So I left after one or two years and quit without any explanations. They don't keep their words and always tried to change things as you go along. So My advice to please stick to Car insurance you are naturally better at fixing vehicles and not houses because otherwise it be well know YY instead of AA.”

“When I spoke to someone in the Newcastle Office, I found them very clear, very precise and charming, The best buy at the time and so much cheaper than my previous insurer who I had Had for at least 5 years - where's customer loyalty's reward? I have made no claim because we have been in lockdown for most of the year and the car was barely used. I hope insurers bear that in mind for next year!”

“hi im a member of aa for years and for the first time in a long long time i used them this morning in dublin 22 . i just have to say i have nothing but the height of praise for the lad who came to sort my car he was the most helpful lad and so very pleasant and courteous. he came to me within an hour and got my car fixed . so i just wanted to say thank you so very much . from 100% satisfied customer”
