“Really enjoyed my day. Katy was excellent. I had one to one as only one in the class so got all the help I needed and asked all the questions I had. Excellent - love fibreglass and silk enhancements now.”

“I cannot thank or recommend the Beauty Academy enough. I have studied at a multitude of educational establishments over the years and they should run courses for the other learning providers. Without doubt from the first phone call they are incredible, the administrative team are superb, knowledgeable, organised and super-efficient. The course venues are well located, equipped and comfortable making the learning environment as good as possible for you to benefit from the lecturers. The lecturers are so knowledgeable, passionate and friendly they make it a pleasure to attend the classes. Having no experience in this field ever I left with total understanding at the end of each day. I cannot wait to start working in my new roll & total career change now and feel fully equipped to tackle all aspects of becoming a Holistic Therapist. If you are researching the best organisation to spend your money with look no further, hands down the Beauty Academy will not disappoint, far better than a funded further education establishment that may be cheaper (its cheaper for a reason!).”

“I booked with the Beauty Academy to do an NVQ Level 2 in nail services and although I thought the teaching was excellent and the tutors were very knowledgable, I was not ever told by the Beauty Academy that although I did my training in Leeds (which is where I live) the assessment days would be in Birmingham or London. There would be 3 assessment days and after paying £1000 for the course who then could afford to take 3 days off work each day paying for fuel to either Birmingham or London and also taking a model with you each day who may also have to take the days off work? I'm very disappointed with the Beauty Academy and would never book a course with them again or recommend them to anyone.”

“I have completed all my training at the Milton Keynes branch. The staff especially Lorraine were informative, hands on, helpful and approachable. Head office always quick to respond to city and guilds training questions I have. And I hope to complete level 3 with them also. Cannot recommend enough.”

“I attended a one day manicure and pedicure course with the Beauty Academy which I absolutely loved and learnt so much. A few weeks later I attended a UV gel nails extensions course and felt that a one day course was not suitable to learn all of the Health and Safety and technique aspects required to be able to go out as a qualified technician and complete sets of nails on clients. There are so many aspects to using nail extensions that one day cannot possibly allow a newcomer to learn, digest and feel confident to carry this treatment out on people. I left the course overwhelmed and sadly it has put me off pursuing being a nail technician as a change of career, which is hugely disheartening. The tutor was very friendly but at times I felt so confused but she was patient and supported me throughout. I don't feel like I've earnt my qualification and without paying out a fortune in supplies and insurance to go out and practice on friends, I can't imagine how I will build up my confidence and technique to start this up as a business which I was so looking forward to doing. I seriously think the course should be offered over at least two days, especially as it costs well over £150.”

“Very good and detailed courses. Time was taken to address the needs of everyone on the course and some personal hints and tips and techniques were shared. My tutor went above and beyond to ensure that everybody got the full experience possible and all queries and questions were answered as fully as possible. It was a full hands-on practical course where we were all able to give and experience each of the treatments. It was inspiring and enjoyable at the same time!”

“I enrolled on the complete makeup course in June of this year and was very disappointed with everything to do with the course if I'm honest. I was recommended this course by your administration team after I told them I work in cosmetics retail and have always had a keen interest in makeup and beauty so I know a fair amount. I can 100% say that I learnt nothing new from that course whatsoever and I am hugely out of pocket because of it. The course tutor had just one years experience in the industry and on more than one occasion showed poor knowledge and application techniques. As I arrive at the course my details were also not there so did not have my own workbook, nor get my certificate on the last day of the course. I do not believe I got my £600 worth out of the course and have not received any further support other that a phone call a few weeks ago in which I told the caller everything I am saying now and he did not so much as offer a phone number to the relevant department let alone transfer me to them. My course was six months ago now. I doubt I would do another course through the beauty academy as I feel it was a total waste of time and money.”

“I attended a make-up course which it was fantastic! I learned so much about make-up and feel much more confident to follow my career as a make-up artist. The teachers and all member of staff are extremely friendly and helpful! I am very happy with The Beauty Academy and definitely plan to do another course in the future. :)”
