“We have been using this business for many years and visit twice per year. It is easily the best wine warehouse in Calais with a great selection of wines from all over the world. There are usually about 50 or 60 wines on taste. If you wish, you can order on-line in advance. There is a great range of wines from cheap everyday drinking to fine wines and from both New World and Old World. There are wines as little as £1.99 per bottle, and you can save £4 or more on the UK price on many wines. The business is English-owned, and all the staff speak good English and are very helpful. My Brother and several friends also buy there regularly. I would recommend The Calais Wine Superstore to anyone wanting to buy wine in Calais.”

“We have been using CWS for several years, the staff are friendly and helpful and as always great bargains to be had. Excellent range of wines and beers from all over the world. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.”

“Ordering online was fantastic. The website and wine selection was great. Prices were equivalent to or better than supermarkets. I made my order the day before crossing and it was there ready and waiting for me. The checkout was friendly,helpful and efficient. Sooooo! much better than trugging around the supermarket. Right by the ferry port, easy to find. Will definitely do this again next time I cross from Calais. Thanks CWS.”

“Excellent prices, helpful staff, good tasting room which is great for deciding which wine to buy so no chance of making a mistake. Great selection of wine and bonus of free crossing. A winner all round, I don’t bother going anywhere else for my wine when visiting Calais. Cheers!”

“It is an easy way to buy wine in France as it can be ordered online and is always ready to pick up when I get there. The wine is always good value and the staff could not be more helpful . I have been using them since they opened and would not go anywhere else.”

“The service at Calais Wine is excellent however on this trip we had awful delays of in total 6 hours on the 2 eurotunnel crossings and were told that the type of tickets supplied by Calais wine meant we were bumped to the back of the cue. Not very good and sends a bad message”
