“Disappointed for the first time in many years. Visited over the Easter weekend to collect twice-yearly my pre-order, only to find that some items had been taken from my trolley because they were out of stock on the shelves. Wasn't too bothered about having to spend 10 minutes looking around for replacements, except that the stock levels were at a very low level and there was limited choice, especially at prices below £4 a bottle. Not what I have enjoyed and appreciated over the years. The staff were their usual helpful selves, and gave me a discount, but I couldn't help feeling this experience might have something to do with Brexit uncertainties. I hope this store stays!”

“Caliais Wine store are the best. Been going for 20+ years and always managed to find my favourites plus lots of new favourites. Highly recommended, and hope Brexit does not have a very bad outcome for my favourite place to go.”

“This is now the fourth time we have visited across the last 5 years and the range of wines on offer and the helpfulness of the staff remains consistently high. We pre-order to ensure we secure our favourites and then make use of their tasting room to discover a few new favourites to add to the trolley. The free ferry crossing deal is great and we prefer this to the Eurotunnel, having tried it once and endured a 3 hour delay out and being sent home by ferry anyway! It's a shame more people don't leave reviews about the wines they've tried and liked but the Calais Wine Superstore are good at stocking a number of wines from the same producer and we've had great success trying unrated wines by the same producer as a wine we know we like. Give them a visit - you won't regret it (and a quick trip to a neighbouring alternative will prove their very competitive pricing too).”

“Much easier than I thought it was going to be, Everything worked out exactly as arranged. Eurotunnel booking was a real bonus and worked our very well, order was on a trolly when I arrived and staff were very helpful. A great day out and massive saving on UK prices.”

“Buying from Calais Wine Superstore is always a great day out - pre order wines on line, pre- book a 3 course fixe menu at a top Calais restaurant, car travel with free Eurotunnel trip included, tasting opportunity in-store so you can swap out any wines you don’t like, and really helpful staff in store. How could anyone not like that?”

“As usual prices were excellent however most of the wines that you advertised on line many of which l wanted to purchase were out of stock mainly Prosecco Grand Duca and hardys stamp. However the staff as usual were very informative and wines very similar. Will see you all again.”
