“Having used the Calais Wine Store on many occasions this latest visit was just as good. The people are friendly and helpful and value for money compared with the UK market. The stock varies in price and caters for all tastes. You are able to taste your selected choice which is a fine option before taking your selection home back to the UK. We have not been disappointed and have not needed to seek returns or refunds. We will visit again. ARW”

“This was the first time we had used their travel scheme which worked without flaw. I was disappointed to receive a call from them the previous day to say they didn’t have my entire order hence only 3 stars.”

“Best place to shop in Calais with so much variety and fantastic prices. Staff are so helpful and know their stuff and being able to sample the wines before purchase, why go anywhere else. With the travel deals on offer, it is still by far the best and cheapest way to buy wine and a great day out.”

“As always I received great service whilst shopping at Calais Wine. The wines on offer were value for money, ranging from the £1.99 a bottle to the more expensive £6 to £10 a bottle. I saved money on my purchases and also received a free crossing. Good luck for the future and I hope that you are able to off great deals after we exit the EU.”

“Staff very helpful and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere especially in wine tasting room! It was really helpful to be able to taste the wine before you buy. Good wines that we would buy at home for less than half the price. Free crossing on eurotunnel worked well. Would highly recommend and will be returning. Thank you.”

“Absolutely brilliant. We love coming here. The free crossing and mega cheap wine is just amazing value. We stay over in a lovely hotel and have a nice french meal in the evening. Saved hundreds of pounds and visit about 2/3 times a year.”

“Absolutely brilliant service and customer care - even down to advising two days before the visit of a message from Highways England about closure of the M20 affecting travel to the Chunnel at Folkestone. Staff in store were always extremely polite and couldn't be more helpful; a superb selection of wines and incredibly competitive prices.”

“Excellent service as usually, friendly staff who know what they are talking about, plus help choosing you’re selection of wines. I pre-ordered and it was ready waiting for me when I arrived, plus they offered to help me load my car. “We took a trip to the Calais wine superstore to buy the wine for our sons wedding recently - the staff helped us choose the wine and they also helped us load the van - they also booked and paid for our trip on Eurostar . We were very impressed with the helpfulness and service from staff and the savings we have made”
