In March I ordered 2 desks and had great customer service. On the basis of this I ordered several more items in June and it has been like dealing with a completely different company. They have turned off their phones so you cannot speak to them. The delivery was a month later than promised which caused me huge problems. The bed which was finally delivered is missing a slat. I have tried phoning to no avail. I have sent 3 emails all of which have been ignored. I really do not know what to do now. It is impossible to speak to anyone and they ignore emails. I got one response which said the case had been closed? With no other response? Something dreadful has happened at this company - it has completely changed.

Do not buy from this company! I am so so disappointed with the after sales care, I have purchased many items from this company. Some of the furniture I purchased at the start if the year has started to crack. I spent many hours trying to get through to someone, eventually I did and was referred to a company called Homeserve for the repair work to be carried out. I was led to believe that they would carry out the work, had a visit from a Homeserve technician only to be told he did not have the paint. I was advised that another appointment will be booked, didn’t hear anything back from Homeserve for a few days. So I called them a few times got told various different messages. Eventually today I was told that Homeserve will not be doing anything until Cotswold & Co give them further instructions and that they were originally sent out to investigate the cause of damage! How deceitful! I have made attempts to speak with Cotswold & Co via live chat and phone today...currently on hold! Order ref is 1965148 can someone please call me! This is shocking that a company such as Cotswold & Co have such cowboy aftersales service!

Avoid. Broken item stuck with it waited in for replacement non came. They do not care they are giving me a different excuse. Avoid avoid avoid

Several weeks ago a large damaged item was delivered. We have sat in today for replacement it's not come apparently they told us about delay. They lie. They are a nightmare. Be very careful buying from them. Whilst the furniture is nice if there is an issue it will be horrendous dealing with them. Very inconsistent. Very unhappy customer. Could not recommend

Shocking shocking behaviour from customer service. They took a large order of a 4 door wardrobe, 2 single wardrobes, a chest of drawers and a shoe cabinet. And a month ago a grand dresser. One would say this is a good order we better treat this customer well. They hired a company called BJS who only deliver to the floor when there is a lift! So they wanted to deliver just the items that fitted the lift. I called customer service of cotswolds and they just basically backed their delivery company's policy! As if I did business with the delivery company!! Why on earth do they hire a company like BJs such bad reputation and that are not delivering items properly. Cotswolds just said that they would just fail the delivery after I waited more than a month! STICK TO JOHN LEWIS OR EVEN IKEA. REPUTAVLE COMPANIES not this deceiving company, they trick customers they are not transparent and they lie. They delivered to me a dresser that is heavy as a tree a month ago with another company who delivered to the third floor. This time they delivered another company probably cheaper that refuse to bring your order upstairs. My question is if they take large orders make sure to8 can deliver them damn it!!!

utterly pathetic service, Using the pandemic as an excuse to not deliver items properly, not communicating with customers in a timely manner. Go elsewhere!

The quality of furniture is very poor you only have to spill something on surfaces including water and it leaves a mark .I have a tv cabinet .Two door cabinet in stone grey the doors just been splashed with ordinary water after washing my wooden floor and marked doors .Bad quality would not recommend your furniture to anyone

Happy Customers Purchased 2 x Chest of drawers - 3 over 4 chest and 2 x bedside units in Chantilly Grey. Quality is good for the price, not solid oak but a mix of woods, but put together well and the finish is excellent giving the pieces the look of a more expensive range. Delivery was great we paid for the £20 for delivery within 3 days. Items where very well packaged and protected so there was no damage in transit. We live in a first floor flat and the delivery men brought the items into the flat, no quibbles so was a great service. Tipped them £10 which they where very happy with. One last thing we liked is Cotswold gave in the product description the exact paint colour match to help with room decorating. Would 100% recommend and buy from Cotswold again.

Recently moved address and ordered furniture from various shops. Cotswolds company was the only shop to insist that I need a landline or send utility bill because billing and delivery address dont match. Having just moved the last thing I need is more admin! Cancelled the order.

The company unilaterally cancelled my order because I do not have a landline number. Payment was authorised made by my credit card company but this was not good enough. I also discovered that the item I ordered and paid for was not actually in stock.

After ordering a wardrobe and bedroom furniture set, which advised on-line would be delivered by 15th November, I was a little disgruntled, when this date, came and went without even a peep from The Cotswold Company. A week later I recieved an email to book delivery, on the morning of delivery I was advised that the wardrobe was incomplete, so they couln't deliver it... the delivery company continued to tell me they had the items however and they would still attempt delivery, obviously that did not happen. Another week passed, and yet another email from The Cotswold Company asking me to select a delivery date, which once again I did. I waited for the delivery on the specified day, nothing arrived, I phone The Cotswold Company that assure me it's definitely arriving that day, and gave me the couriers number to find the time-slot, another phonecall later, the courier advised me it has not been booked in with them, and I need to call The Cotswold Company, to re-book. Yet another phone call later, I rebook for the next week, I double check this (more phone-calls) with both courier and company and they assure me delivery is happening this time (finally, a month after the original delivery date), sure enough it arrives, when unpacking the first item it became apparent that it was damaged, they went on to unpack the remaining items which were also damaged in several places, with the wardrobe also missing handles and a hanging rail. After speaking with The Cotswold Company advising I wanted a refund, which they would not give prior to collecting the item, I relunctantly arranged yet another day off work to wait for collection of the items, in which I was then informed that they wouldn't collect it, after 1.5hours on the phone to them, and them telling me there was nothing they could do as they were not senior enough, yet there was noone more senior in the office to talk to, the delivery company called to advise they could do that day. The items have now been collected, but I am still left waiting for a refund. Customer service was next to nil, and I'm still shocked at how this has all been handled...I will update this with my refund experience, once I have chased again for this...

Excellent communication. Choice of free delivery dates for large item of furniture, carefully delivered and installed where I wanted it. Quality of item much better than I had expected. Extremely pleased with all aspects of the Company and goods bought . I highly recommend them

We have been buying COTSWOLD furniture for a long time now, in store and on line. We simply can't fault their quality, design and value for money!!! The expanding ranges, durability and exciting new shades are really worth looking at. And the STAFF. AB FAB! And yes I am a real live (I think!) customer. Thank YOU so much, Cotswold, we'll be back.

The worst company in terms of customer services! Every single Oder has issues and I have been exceptionally patient. They refuse to help customer in anyway possible!

Unfortunately there was no one to take delivery. We live in the countryside and it was only a stool £75 it could have been left in the poach or outbuildings at back of property. This did not seem an option to the company, they wanted an additional £30 to deliver and again. When I refused to pay they took £30 off my original payment and refunded just just £45 So much for free delivery!!

Awful company! After waiting a month for a storage shelf to be delivered, what I got was damaged. Was then told 2 weeks to get a new one to the warehouse. Then 3 weeks. Then 14 weeks!!! Overall it would have taken 6 months for a storage self to be delivered! Cancelled order in the end! Waste of my time!

Bought a dining room set which we then had a problem with . Contacted their customer service & they showed they didn't care ..totally dismissive & not interested in helping us. Very poor . Extremely disappointed

really poor which was a shame since my first buy was excellent. Bought an armchair but didn't realise it was subcontracted out. They don't make their own! Numerous emails from them reminding me that the delivery notification would start from 15th November ... well that came and went and still I had brochures through he door and emails and no contact. Rang and nice lady (though very woolly) first of all gaily said oh yes next thursday then suddenly oops ... no can't give you the name of the company making it so don't know if it's finished, can't give name of delivery company ooh sorry!!! when I asked her to chase it up for me lots of promises... nothing. Then email the next week which was pretty strong and ... nothing. Finally after 16 days I think an email asking for a review of their service .. for nothing!!! so wrote an incredibly nasty email with strap line to logistics manager as P**ssed off! and got a reply... she promised that if I didn't hear within a week from the delivery company to get back to her and she would chase. Nothing. I wrote to her directly and nothing. Finally delivery company has been in touch but Kerry from logistics hasn't..................... looked on Facebook and someone else waiting for this armchair has been waiting since October!!! so presumably they're having huge problems with this supplier ... or they're just getting too big to manage their supply chain effectively. Shame.

We had the delivery of our cabinet moved up to express, which was a nice surprise and then were given 10% if we ordered another item within 14 days, so we have ordered a coffee table, which is currently out of stock but which will then be express delivered as soon as it becomes available. They come fully assembled, which is a huge help!
